"Really? Well, we do not have a dungeon. We have a court where people are sentenced to things that amount to their crime. sometimes they get slavery work for 1 month. other times its death." Rain nodded and smiled as more people entered the room and bowed. Amethyst sat beside her in the seat that belonged to Autumn. Amethyst gave a weary look to Tarron before looking straight ahead at the lobster being placed on the table.

Tarron thought of making a witty comment on what kind of court he would show her, but he thought best of it. Even though his charms were overbearing everyone has their limits, even demons. "Aah death...what kind of crimes does one commit to get death in a demon's court? what does the incorrect way of drawing a pentagram get you? 2 months of community service of scaring kids on Halloween?" Tarron looked to the food being brought to the table. He didn't know it until just then, but he was extremely hungry. Tarron placed a hand on his stomach as it growled.

"I had to sentence my uncle to death because he killed an innocent in the forest." Rain said as she lowered her head. She heard Tarron's stomach and smiled. "You should've had some jello earlier" She said jokingly. She looked around and saw the room was full and that People were staring. "Aah, yes..." She said as she stood. "Welcome all to dinner this evening. We have three visitors today. Two of which will be in the infirmary. This Man is Tarron. We will all welcome him during his stay. Lets all give thanks for this food and pray that Brother and Sister will be Okay and will arrive home safely." Rain sat back down as Amethyst stood up and said thanks.

They live just as anyone would, and I have been hunting them. No not them. What I have been hunting were mindless creatures whose sole purpose were to fill their bellies with the blood of innocents. Tarron waited until after the thanks was given until he spoke, and it was not very loudly "You know..."Tarron said his eyes crossing the room at the inhabitants of the room"Just as I have always known you all to be just demons. I have only been known to be the demon hunter. No one has ever used my name Except my sister and my gracious host. Although I do not understand what it is like to be hunted and looked down upon as mindless beings. I do know what is like to be...labeled as something of only one importance. And I am truly sorry for my ignorance."Tarron's eyes drifted to Rain's as his face became gloomed with grief"I fear my appetite has been lost. My lady, might I be excuse?"He lied. His hunger was still very fierce, but he could not bear to sit amongst these people right now, the pain was to great.

Rain looked at Tarron confused, but nodded. She could tell by his energy aura that he was depressed about something. Hmm.... She thought. As everyone began serving themselves, Rain made an extra plate to give to Tarron later. "How come the human is sad, Aunty?" Amethyst asked. "Hush. You will call him by his name." Rain said calmly as she put two fingers on Amethysts forehead.

Tarron nodded and stood"Thank you my lady. Please forgive my brash behavior, I will make sure it does not interrupt dinner again"Tarron pushed his chair in before following the path they had taken to get to dinner. After finding his room Tarron shut the door behind him silently and sat down on his bed before placing his face in his hands. "What have I been fighting for sister? What kind of man hunts beings as this? I need guidance" Tarron sighed before kicking his armor with a grunt and laid onto his bed. "...I should of just let her kill me" He muttered to himself.

"....Maybe i shouldn't of eaten all that icecream and jello..." Rain said to herself. She has only eaten the sushi and salad that was on her plate and already felt full. She stood, with Tarrons plate in hand and Excused herself. "Please continue dinner without me. I have visitors I must check up on." Rain teleported into Tarrons Room again. "Oi. I got you some food if your still hungry...." She mumbled. She placed the plate on the end table beside the bed. "I know its none of my business, but you kinda owe me.... Whats wrong?" Rain asked as she stood in front of Tarron.

"Thanks"Tarron smiled weakly as he sat up, the combination of exhaustion and hunger giving him a weak look. "I really didn't expect you to care, but I never really expected much out of you. All my life I have been hunting. All my life I have been the mindless one. Killing every demon I've seen and for what? the money I've been paid went into alcohol just to drowned out the world. Killing became my life, killing was all I was good at. Demon hunting was all I was good at." Tarron swung his legs off the side of the bed as he stood"Then I was paid to kill your brother, I come here and find what kind of creatures you are, not creatures at all but living thriving people. And I wonder how many others I killed that were like you. That loved and lived and had families."Tarron sat down and gripped his hair"I've lost the reason why I hunted them in the first place. I've become a ******** monster, to let me live was to good for me"

Became the very thing I hated. These words echoed in Rains Head. What Tarron just said, reminded her of what she said when she.....Murdered the first and only 'friend' she had. By killing Samantha, I became the very thing I hated. A Murderer who killed only because they were angry. "You were paid.... To kill... My Brother....But..... why?" She wondered. Was there something Brother was keeping from her? from the castle? "Tarron. I have no idea if you killed innocents or not, but let me tell you this. Your not alone." And with that, Rain left the room.

Tarron looked at the food she brought to him"Thanks"He repeated aloud again.He stared at the food for a long time before he finally decided to eat. After he was done he laid back on the bed and stared at the ceiling. although he was not sleepy, he was still tired. All that he had done had been for coin. He hadn't even remembered why he took this job in the first place."If every thing you love is gone...what do you fight for?" Tarron asked himself aloud, even though he was alone...but then again, he had always been alone.

"Yourself." Rain whispered. She was standing outside of Tarrons door and heard his question to himself. "You fight for yourself. Because the things you love are within you." Rain sighed and walked to the infirmary. "Hello, girls! Are you feeling well?" She asked Rach and Non.

Tarron stood and dawned his armor. He thought about retrieving his amror and weaponry from the the field, but is was probably already pawened off by a poor demon who needed some money. No longer had Tarron believed that demons were mindless creatures, well not these ones anyway. Stepping into the hallway Tarron stretched "Let us see what kind of trouble I can get into today. Ooh what grand adventures we shall have!" Tarron smiled as he began trotting down the hallway"Where the hell am I going...I need a map"

"Awwwwwe!" Rain noticed that the two girls were sleeping. "Their so adorable!" She squealed quietly to herself. She covered them up in a blanket and walked out of the room. "I think dinner is over now.... " She said to herself as she roamed the hallways boredly. She sat on a nearby bench and sighed. "Maybe the whole 'bench in a hallway' thing was a good idea after all....." She muttered.
