My name's Eli. Or Ewi, more affectionately. To Kia most of the time, I am Pookie, cause the lil tart stole my word. razz
I have an unhealthy obsession with many things, some of which include ninjas, leg warmers, scarves, my hoodies, huggy (a stuffed tshirt sewn shut, so huggable, try one!) foxes, wolves, raccoons, kitties, E. A. Poe, horror novels, robots, old cartoons, books in general, language, history (I prefer Asian and European), Techno, ElectroOpera, Opera in general, MS Paint, plushies, Halo and other shootingstyle games, Halo's music, cuddling, sleeping, Stepmania, the color grey, DDR, My digital camera, ramen, Korean Melon pops, sticky rice, pineapple, 80's music, staffs, Katamari Damacy,my bed, taffy, Pina Coladas, and my Pookies (The lovely Kia, and the smecksah Llama and his toso in general, so cuddleh. :3).
I tend to loathe a few things as well, unfortunately. Some of them include: abhorable grammar/writing in general (I'm not always perfect myself, but sometimes people's writing hurts my brain. @-@ Seriously, School House Rock is your fwiend. :3), people who are rude/vulgar without reason, people with no respect for other people, selfish/greedy people, most large dogs, onions, mushrooms, math, biology, sucky drivers (unfortunately there are a lot here - -; ), bad dubbing on anime, the fact that most of my favorite cartoons have been "revamped" and ruined, small children, people who are cruel to animals, ignorant people, and..yeah..enough complainy. - -;
I also know a lot more about most of you then I should for only being in the Church a few days. (Kia wuvs you all enough to share your wonderfullessness with me constantly. :3)
I've brown hair and green eyes, and most of the time an atrocious southern accent. gonk
I love and study religion but don't really actively practice any of them. I'm teaching myself a few languages (including programming ones), make almost anything that comes to mind, cook a lot (thought it's often bad - -; ), build computers, and snuggle a lot. I could be a belt, nyah. Belty-sune. :3
Erm, I can't really think of anything to say other than that which has already been said.
As for pictures, maybe soon. I lost my camera upload cord and the ones I already have I don't like. :/ (I do, however, have lots and lots of pictures of Kia. : P So she has no excuse other than being shy and that screwy lil' voice in her head that tells her she isn't cute. (Liiieees.. liieess.. o.o)
Ehrm.. *dances* whee heart

Hello, some of you may know me. My name is Jason and I go by the alias Jassinm for just about everything. There were two Jasons in our clique so my friend and I thought up a name for me (which is basically just a misspelling of my real name). I am 14 years old and a freshman in high school. Contrary to popular belief (or maybe not), I actually am an idiot. I greatly enjoy video games, music, and the internet. I'm a minor lurker and a semi-poster of the M&R section of ED. I am 100% Chinese (ancestry in Taiwan, of course) born in the USA. I love anime with the fiery passion of a thousand suns and I hate people who are voluntarily ignorant. I'm Daoist, with agnostic beliefs about an actual metaphysical being. I love to have intellectual discussions.
Mods be with you all.

My name is Mary, but I go by the names Murasaki and Jijabi online. I am 16 years old. I am a junior in high school. I live in Connecticut. I love to read both on- and offline. I like the Hitchhikers Trilogy, Jane Austen, Harry Potter, manga, fantasy, historical fiction, and some romance. I like most music that I listen to. I don't have a favorite of almost anything. I like most weather, and I like to stay at home. I love languages and mythology. I hate almost anything citrus, be it flavor, scent, color, &c.
No picture as of yet.

I am Sarah the Unholy. This is a list of THINgs that are/were/is/will be me. It follows as such, in the nonlist, noncaps form: I live in southern california, santa monica to be specific. my homegrounds on gaia are all contained within the music forum, thusly i worship The Noraboo, The Lolli is HATE!, The Doctor MEAN!, as well as The Bazz, moderator former. i am a high school dropout, by choice, by passion. i paint angrily, write meticulously, and have to pee all bad. i fall in love easily, so watch out. i don't fall out of love. period. i like people and concert photography. i also have a nice rack. my favorite book is trout fishing in america and i love phil elverum. i have a crush on arrington de dionyso of old time relijun. the poetry forum sucks. check my OKCupid! profile for pictures and better information. o.

My name is Nathan, and I hail from Central Oregon. I'm 20 years old and currently not engaged in any form of higher education. I'm a bit of a Jack-of-all-trades kind of guy. I'm an artist with a total of ONE gallery showing. I'm a musician who has written over 50 songs, and produced over 4 hours of studio-quality work (that's alot, trust me). I try to read a couple of books every week, and my favorite authors include Albert Camus, A.I.Solhzeneitzyn, John Steinbeck, Harper Lee, Robert Heinlein and Stephen Lawhead. I've gone through alot of change in music, and I listen to large variety of stuff (no Country (unless it's old, like James Taylor) no Rap (unless it's a joke) no Christian Contemporary, no POP! (If it's on the radio, I'm not interested, unless it's Modest Mouse, Coldplay, the Strokes or Radiohead). I listen to mostly soft or ambient stuff. Instrumental, or soft vocals: Eels, GY!BE, Silver Mt. Zion, Elliot Smith, Radiohead, Dogon, Explosions in the Sky, Modest Mouse, Grandaddy, The Strokes, Travis, Coldplay, The Walkmen, Pedro the Lion, Nick Drake, ETC... I like Chinese food. I smoke Camel Turkish Royals. I smoke Djarum Black Cloves. I drink rum when I can. I don't get angry unless I'm frustrated, and I always cry before I get angry. I am too humble. I am Reiijou. Ta.

I'm Sandra. I live in Southern California. I don't have a good picture right now. I have to get one. K, you can see this one.Other unnecessary facts about me: I'm Christian and non-religiously celibate. I've eaten raw oatmeal with ketsup on it twice. I have a psychotic bird who pulls out his feathers for no apparant reason, who screams "Birdy! I love you!" all day long, and who loathes balloon animals and feet. The difference is, if he sees a balloon animal, he flies away. If he sees your feet, he fans out his tail and tries to rip your toes off. Sometimes we play 'Catch the Feets'. Oh yeah... this was supposed to be about me. Ummm... I'm 5'4", 130lbs. I think. I have green/blue eyes and brown hair with a bit of red in it. I'm kinda pale, and I keep getting whiter. I'm starting to think that maybe I'm sick or something. I'm studying art. I want to be a trilingual freelance illustrator. That won't happen, though. I'm sure I'll be a sandwich lackey forever. I like to ramble sometimes (like now), but I don't really say anything important in the process. I don't usually write like this.

Wow. I have never posted a profile. Err.. better really late than never?
-My name is Jillian Anne, and I like to add my middle name to my first when I talk about myself becuase I'm mildly psychotic. (Actually, it's because I'm rather fond of my middle name.) - Most of you have seen a picture, so no go for you. whee - I'm about 5'5" (which means I'm closer to 5'4", because I have a habit of rounding up my height an inch.) - I have one dog, Bert, who is afraid of trash cans and only has three toes on his front left paw. -I live in Houston, Texas, where it is wet all the time. -The strangest thing I've eaten (And liked) is warm dry tuna with munster cheese on top. -My birthday is Dec. 20, 1988, so I am currently 16! Yey! but in my state, you have to have a permit for six months, so I won't be allowed to have a license for like, a year, because I haven't even started to learn how to drive. Yey! -I'm pretty bad with math and science. - I love people. - My soul is devoted to choral and operatic music. That's where I want to go with my life, and that's where God is leading me, I hope. - I'm a Lutheran (But I currently find it difficult to call myself a Christian. This being because I don't act like one.) - Uhh... favorite color is purple.

*creeps in* So, I'm here. Figured I might as well start in this thread. Hi, my name is David, and I'm not an alcoholic. Or any other sort of addict. Not anymore. I kicked... caffeine. *gasp* Well, I also quit smoking, but that doesn't count. I am 26 years old, and located in Boise, ID, where I am currently attending Boise State University as a philosophy major. At times, I've been tempted to switch to mathematics or political science, but I think in the end I'll just be sticking to philosophy. Mostly logic and metaphysics, for those who care. I am in my fourth year at the university. No, this is not my last year. Yes, this upsets me. Yes, I was lazy. I am deeply committed to my girlfriend, with whom I spend probably far too much time. Despite how amazing she really is, she doesn't work the Internet. I don't really mind this, for some reason. I am unemployed. I like being so, but I hate being poor. While I do love M-ds, I feel that I have somehow incurred bad karma with them for attempting to control the Marketplace artificially. I wish to repent. Please, M-ds, spare your wrath that my items might sell. I have learned my lesson. I have in the past asked a few theological questions concerning Church of M-d doctrine. I rarely get good answers, mostly because of the lack of desire on my part to wade through vast quantities of pages in DYBIM to find out if anyone replied. I have a picture. It is a mildly large picture, and I don't feel like reducing it. Deal. The picture was taken a couple years ago, and is of me reading my poetry as part of my final exam for a Poetry class. Yes, that is my Coke and Doritos on the desk. Yes, the light streak in my hair is actually a white hair. I have several. They aren't grey, they are white. This doesn't bother my girlfriend. I am passionately agnostic. I don't know a damn thing, really, though I have several stated philosophical positions. Ask, if you're really curious. I suspect you aren't. If I could pick a religion to be right, I would pick Asatru. I have a cat, Thor. He is a very large cat. He doesn't live with me because my apartments don't allow pets. This upsets me, and Thor. Note: I didn't actually name the cat; my sister did. I call him "Cat" and he usually responds. I listen to heavy music, all kinds. Doom/Death/Black Metal and variants, Grindcore, Dark Noise, Dark Ambient, Industrial, etc. I used to wear all black. I don't any more. This pleases me. I used to drive a purple car. I like purple. I broke my car. But while I had it, I used to drive around with the windows rolled down and blasting the heaviest music in my collection at horrendous volumes. I spent around $1500 on my car stereo system because I believe that everyone else should listen to metal, too. This confuses people, to hear violent death metal screaming coming from a small purple car that looks like it needs a rainbow sticker. I like confusing people. I dream of winning the lotto. Often. It hasn't come true yet. I think that about covers it for now.

Asharu, explain to me why people think that if you wear extraordinary amounts of black you must be either some kind of villain or a "goth/metalhead/emo."
For the record, I wear tons of black. That's because I like the color (lack of color, technically). It's just like a person who likes orange or green may wear those colors.
