"Down along the rivers and it's stream daughters it's lusher, cooler. Beautiful...with reeds and flowers and fish. One day, I'd like to remake my pride there." He was daydreaming out loud. Muroki knew somewhere in his heart that he was the last Dawnwalker, and even if others lived, they'd probably have new lives by now.

"Aww." Hisani couldn't help but sigh along with him. "I want to help you with that." A sudden need to help and comfort her friend hit to Hisani and soon she reached out to snuggle his neck. She wasn't absolutely sure why she did so, she just felt she should do this. "If there is any way to give you that dream..." she whispered softly in his mane.

"Your support is enough, dear one" Acting on instinct, Muroki nuzzled her shoulder in return, a low purr rumbling to mis with with his voice. Ah, if only if only...he smiled, pained that she'd rejected him as a mate - or so he thought, anyway - because she really was wonderful.
But love her or not, if he wanted a pride, he'd have to find another one day. For now though, he'd settle for travelling with his friend Hisani.
"Want to visit those lands with me?"

Hisani purred and closed her eyes, falling totally to this moment. She sighed. "Of course, Muroki," she whispered, staid there some time and pulled herself away from him. She looked at him, kind of shyly and kind of embarrasing way, until she spoke again, her voice soft, and rather low. "Of course, I want to travel with lion I love."
A little smile came on her face. She felt silly. Her gaze turned down in embarrasing way, she took couple steps backwards and then suddenly ran towards the little hill where behind Laini had taken the carcass.
Almost on that hill, she turned to look backwards at Muroki, her tail swingin playfully.

One minute, Muroki was trying to school his heart into seeing Hisani as only a friend. The next it was beating so fast it almost seemed to him to be humming. He watched, stunned, as she ran and paused playfully.
The lion she loved?
THE LION SHE LOVED?
His mind in a flurry and emotions causing him to grin the biggest grin he possibly could, Muroki swiftly followed her. Playtime? His tail lashed behind him for joy - something she'd probably recognise as a sign he was in a good mood.
"Hisani? I love you." And with that, he tagged her and ran the other way.

Hisani giggled and raced after him. After the good meal and rest, she was fully energized and really good mood. In no time, she got his tail. "Cotcha my love!" she giggled and let him some time to realize he was caught again. Then she raced to the direction she had been running earlier.
She felt great. Like a big rock would have fallen from her heart. Was this the feeling of being love? Well, whatever it was, it felt great.
Laini appeared behind the hill, just to see Hisani running past her. After the first surprise, she chuckled. "Looks like you're having plenty of fun here," she commented, smiling. Oh, how she loved to see Hisani so happy.

Hot on her heels, Muroki had to dodge around the grey lionness. With a laugh, he called out to her. "Oh, lots of fun, my dear Laini!"
The painted tan lion would be happy to continue this chase for hours, maybe turning it into a race, a soft wrestle. He was so happy to see Hisani out and about, happy; rather than hiding and subdued. This was more like the beautiful Golden Girl he'd grown up with!
When he caught her, he nuzzled her as best he could on the move and ran away again. Muroki just had to announce to the whole savannah. "Sheeeee loooooves me~!"

Laini couldn't help but just laugh. So, that was this all about. Well, good for them. The grey lioness searched a safe spot under a tree, no, she jumped on one of it's strong branches and settled to watch their play contently.
Hisani giggled and raced after him, but suddenly, a sneaky thought got her and she stopped. Before Muroki could wonder where she was, she had hid herself in the middle of dry grass, almost blending in there. Staying hidden, she waited for the right moment to surprise him.

Muroki turned his maned head to see if she was catching up with him and came to a sharp stop. She'd vanished into the grasses well. Even as another hunter, in a place where her scent was everywhere and in grasses that matched her so well, he'd have a hard time finding her...He padded back.
"Oh woe is me, I've lost my love, San..." Dramitically, he began his search.

Hisani waited patiently until Muroki were enough close to her and then, bounced up. "Surprise!" she let a happy laugh and pawed him gently, in playful manner. Would she win again?

Muroki reared up on his head legs slightly in actual surprise - and then followed this natural motion through so he was flopped on his back. Submissive. She'd got him, she'd won.
"Have mercy on me?" He purred up at her, a charming smile in place.

"Only if you love me," she dared and giggled, nibbling his paws playfully. She smiled a wide, genuine smile. She was happy and damn it, she showed it.

"I promise to." With a chuckle, he leaned forward and licked her neck once. His heart had slowed down somewhat, but it was beating hard still. He was so happy, yet some how so calm...who would've thought it?

((As soon as the decision to leave is agreed with all of particiants. Or maybe I could start a new thread while the RP in here is still going on. In that way, we wouldn't have to worry about finishing here.))
"I'm glad," Hisani purred before getting a kiss. Which surprised her really. She pulled back a bit, for the surprise but soon bended back, to nudge him. Finally, the exhaustion hit her and she flopped down, next to him, a happy smile on her muzzle. "I'm so glad."
Laini watched them, feeling both happy and proud that her daughter had found the happiness. But in the same time, she felt sad, knowing that her little girl wasn't her little girl anymore. She had grown up and soon would follow Muroki to anywhere the sandy lion wanted her to go.

Muroki flopped over so he was laying on his side, curled around his smaller love. So glad, so very glad indeed. He was less sure than Laini about Hisani following him where ever he wished to go - because he'd never force Hisani into anything. He'd stay with her and her mother if his Goldie wished...
