First of all, yes you get to start with something according to here: ]http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?t=17600647
"In your forum it would be nice if you made a post of completed missions/chapters and your inventory as well.
For your starting inventory, you get 500PD and the following items. x3 Apples x3 Oran Berries x1 Big Apple "
And for your second question, no. You are not allowed to find ANYTHING at all in missions. You'll have to fill your belly points with the item you own yourself. But you might get one from the mission's reward.

Hello, I have recently joined the guild (like, 5 minutes ago /fail), and I was wondering if you absolutely have to be on a team, or if you can just be a regular pokemon outside of the guilds.
Also, this is only for my reference (I deleted my post because I was unsure ^.^; )
Random number generated from 1-17 was 7 (Bug-type)

Generally, the rule of thumb is, yes. You do have to have a team. However, that being said, you are not entirely restricted to this team and the "teams" as they were are not entirely restricted to guild work. Once your characters have funds, for example, you are free to open up stores etc. as you please. Chapters aren't mandatory and neither are missions (though they are the method to earn PD) so it's fully possible to have a team that does almost entirely social activities. It's also possible to create NPC's both with and without presence provided you talk to myself or Chaos_Divide (though it would have to be me for the time being).
If you'd like to discuss it more, or if it's a make-or-break for you then I'd be happy to discuss it further either in the thread or in PM's.

If that is the case, then I would like to apply as an NPC, but is there a certain job I would have to do?
If so, I would have no problems with it.

Part of the issue with taking on a non-player role within the guild is the fact that there's simply no minor roles needed. Well there are major roles required, those obviously aren't handed off to regular members (let alone new ones).
So, that being said, I can't really assign a required job or anything. There's just nothing in the roleplay that needs to be npc'd.
What it ultimately comes down to is that if you want a non-team role, your best bet is to drop me a PM and I'll talk to the other mods about it. That being said, though, it really is a touch unlikely since there's no precedent for it. I'd like to encourage you to make a normal team and progress from there, considering how loose things get beyond that.

Oh! One more question, do people with their own pokemon sprites here make them themselves, or do they get it from somewhere/one? Because I can help those who need a sprite, although I only do recoloring and a bit of added features.

Most of us are actually mildly (or significantly) prolific artists and we tend to do our own sprites. Some of us also rework pre-existing sprites (Chaos does this faily often, actually). We like art in general.

I'm awful at art so is it okay for me to just use a sprite I found on a website? I mean, I won't be condemned for it right? I don't want to be out-casted from everyone because I can't make sprites.
Also, I forgot what Pokemon I put in my join request. I forgot it because I probably joined in late April and something huge came up and I was completely without internet for the longest time. If I can, I'll just use an Igglybuff since that's my favorite Pokemon as of now.
Thank you for your time. <3

Normal sprites are fine. There's no actual... rules regarding sprites at all. I don't think you're technically required to even have them, though it's highly appreciated if you do. As for their colours/etc., yeah, it's all good. I use standard sprites for most of mine to begin with.
And starting with an Igglybuff will be fine, because I doubt anyone remembers what you applied with. We're pretty lax on that anyways; the application is mostly there to filter out people without sufficient literacy.

Im a little confused with how some things work here. Ima just number it to make it easier.
1: When rolling the dice for a team, does it determine what type your Pokemon has to be? 2: I read somewhere that states before getting a team, you have to find a leader or something, how can you find one? 3: I noticed others with 4+ pokemon. Can you be more then one? Also, if this is true, how do you get more?
Sorry for the confusement. I'm really not smart at all. >3<

Hello, dear! No worries at all, I'll explain to you how it works when it comes to teams!
1.) You start off with a captain! You pick ANY first stage Pokemon [Including baby stage Pokemon] to be the captain of your team! Use the profile template in the member profile subforum to make your thread. -Check out the other team threads for an idea on how to make it~ 2.) When you randomly generate for your partner it'll land on a number between 1-17. Go to the first page of the Partner thread and match it up to the list of Pokemon types there! From there you choose ANY first stage [this includes baby stage] Pokemon of that type to be your partner! 3.) Recruits are members of your team! You may have up to 10 per team, not including your captain and co-captain. Getting recruits [more Pokemon for your team] is easy! We have a chapter occuring now that grants you a recruit as well as any future chapters will reward you with Pokemon. You can also take a mission from the Main Bulletin board in the Guild Exchange or from YOUR GUILDS board. -Don't forget to make sure it's the Guild you signed up for!

Ohh that makes alot more sense now. c: Thank you. <3
Im kinda stuck right now on this thought. So, one more question. o< When you recruit others, do they all have to start out at a first evolution? And, when making a profile, do you have to create a name for it? Oh last thing! Is dratini considered legendary? I can never figure this out. :c
Sorry for alot of the questions. 0<

-Unless stated otherwise your recruits are considered eggs! They take four days to hatch in real time and are always first stage! -Your profile will be the name of your team! If your team is called Team SuperAwesome, the thread should be titled Team SuperAwesome. -Dratini are not legendary! If you roll Dragon type you may have one. :3
