It's a toy, if it'd been greenstuff I think I'd go for a more serious approach, but I don't see myself as a master moulder yet which is why I haven't sculpted one myself... gonk

2 Days of painting and the first 25 of the stormvermin are finished (just need to think of a way to add the other 5 into the unit, maybe another filler? Or try to get something else). Pictures aren't the best so please bare with me, wish I could've gotten a less yellowish light. Tomorrow I start with the clanrats.

4 hours of painting, a short pause for Futurama and finally basing and shield-attaching, a total of 5 and a half hours and 25 newly painted clanrats are ready to join the ranks! I think they turned out ok, and now it's time to start a bit with the plague censer bearers before I head to bed. Also got new (can't say they're better) pictures of the stormvermin now with shields on their backs! Clanrats Stormvermin (now with shields)

Finished my Plague Censer Bearers yesterday and almost finished my bell and furnace, though was way too tired to finish them, and today I'm going to do some slow painting on them while also assembling 30 plague monks and hope that my primer is enough to cover all of them... The PCB turned out ok I guess, I guess I hasted through them more than usual, and it's the same with the bell and furnace at the moment as well, if they end up way too ugly I'll just repaint them sometime after the tournament I s'pose.

Painting machine yes, everything looks awesome, not quite, but they're ok for being speedpainted. Quite rushed and all as mentioned, but along the army they look ok which is fine by me (getting full force pictures within an hour when this is posted), not trying to win the best painted, just want my units up and running for the tournament! (blamesonthisforbeinglazy) Anyways, here they are! I built the bell so that I could remove the grey seer and attach him to a base and giving him a hand weapon. Just 2 WFT and 30 plague monks left... I just hope I got the energy left to do this tomorrow...

Dude, you paint better than a lot of us around here, don't go breaking our morale by saying you're not doing well. wink Shinobi_8745 But am I the only one who think this army looks small? I do find it small somehow... How many points is that army? Maybe make the infantry blocks even bigger? whee

about 1900 points with the blocks and specialist units I think, so I can field all of it (and some cheap characters) in a 2250 army... I seriously need to calculate all this as soon as I've had some supper!
And We'll see if I want to make the units bigger, 25 is the magic number for skaven, though with the new edition I might try to get 50~ish in some and utalize the horde special rule.

I'd say go for it, go with at least one big unit ten wide and fifty strong. I know I'm building one, either spearmen or dare I say, a massive block of Pirazzo's Lost Legionnaires. pirate
