*Kero smiles*
Yeah, I'm fine...now what say we practice being slippery on some slippery trout?

The boy grins at him and slips into the stream. Kero puts a foot in and shudders. Knowing the youngster's reaction to cold, he can't believe he isn't catatonic. That, if anything, should have given the boy's talent away far earlier. He wonders why he never thought about it.

*Kero decides to stay on shore this time...and casts a line out instead, making sure his line is downstream of Pasa*

**Hmmm... just thought of something... if fifty years has passed, Em would be older... the cubs, too... they are probably around the level of a 6 year old... but not as much as Em... not saying why there... ye'll have to figure it out... but Em, at least should be in his late teens by now...
let's just say Mara was missing a few teeth... wink hmmm... a gap toothed lion... all I want for Christmas is my two front fangs...

**Author laughs....Did I not say time was different in his Void...it accelerates and decelerates, touching each world at different rates...Yes, Pasa has been in there for fifty years...Voidic time...he could have emerged from the Void five thousand years after he left...or five minutes....it's up to the authors...I built it that way specifically for role-playing...makes it easier to streamline timelines when you work with such old creatures...**

**head smack... ow that hurt... got to trim those claws... you pick a time then... I'm free to go with any gap...**
Passura finds his favorite spot in the stream and soon comes up with a seven pound trout. "Dinner!" he calls with a grin.

hmmm...say...enough of a gap for the cubs to grow to....the level of a four year old...
*Kero smiles, taking the trout...and setting the hook on his own line...while Pasa watches, he wrestles the fish slowly back to him...*

Passura shakes his head and laughs. "Some big bait ye got there." he remarks with a giggle. He starts to move around a rather large rock and freezes mid-step. Reaching down he begins to worry at something that is caught near it's base. He finally wiggles it free and holds up an hunk of stone with some suspicious green streaks showing through.
"This is a real pretty stone, me'sirrah. The wiseman wore a pin with it in it... It has streaks of all shades of green when it is polished. Maybe I could make something for you out of it."

*Kero sets his fish down, and comes over to see the stone, merely to make sure it is safe...*
Pasa, I would be honored...thank you, son. Do you wish me to teach you how to carve stone and crystal?

**malachite is not only safe... but very beautiful...**
Passura smiles. "I know a little bit already. Stone carving and polishing was one of the village's trades. The men would do the mining and the children and women would finish the stones off a bit to make them salable. I can't do fancy work. Only the best carvers in the village were allowed to do that. Everyone relied on the sale of the stones, so the children only did the east stuff."

*Kero smiles*
That doesn't answer my question, son...I'm an Amulatore...an Amulet Maker...I can teach you my trade, father to son...would you like to learn from me?
**Malachite.....one of the few stones missing that I actually desire...I collect gems and crystals...have a piece of Lapis sitting on my desk for luck...and I don't have Malachite...**

**I don't have one either... sigh... but I do have a piece of moss agate... now that is also a pretty stone... and plenty of jade and amethyst, quartz, blood jasper and who knows what all around the house... Yuki used to collect prescious stones...**
Pasa smiles. "Let me make this for you first, then I'll be happy to learn from you. I want to make you something myself... with no help." He touches the stone on his forehead and smiles. "This keeps me very close to you in here." he say touching his chest. "I want to give you a gift that will make you happy there too."
Kero almost does a head smack as he realizes why Pasa didn't feel the cold. Chuckling at himself he nods and hugs him close.

Do you want to eat here...I'm sure the kitchen is still functional...

*Kero nods, tapping Pasa...and teleporting them down to the cave where they lived...only to find...dust...they've been gone for twenty years, after all...so Kero simply takes off his robe...tells Pasa to hold it..and goes inside...only to come out again*
No way...even with magic, we'd be here all week...let's go offer to cook the meal for em and the others...*Does just that, hoisting Pasa onto his back for a ride...
