<..:::Ira:::..>Ira walked beside Echo as they walked through the market area. "Who do you think is following us?" She asked in a voice only Echo could hear. She needed to know how many there were, and maybe how strong they were. She might be able to distract them with something. Maybe a random fire.

Kiyoshi: Eldest Prince of Astra Kiyoshi listened to her story and his gears continued to turn. Things were a little bit different then anticipated if Zellana did only just figure out that this Iliad character was in fact her brother. If that in fact was the case he could understand any kind of faltering that might have happened with taking care of someone who helped a Sinner. But even so she hadn't know that Sabine was the person she was.
He thought for about a whole minute in silence his hands rubbing one another. Sometimes for those that know the prince this can be n alarming sign. It was an action that sometimes possibly hinted that he was going to take off his gloves. And when he took off his gloves, it was reason for someone to really worry. For it is when he is bare-handed, that in the simplest forms of physical contact with his hands he is able to apply seals in such a casual and stealthy manner, some of the best senses are needed just to detect the application. Many he is displeased with have been corroded to a pile of goo or blown to bits by just a pat on the shoulder, back or head.
"Family ties are a complicated thing Zellana and it is in these times of war that I can understand your actions. Speaking of bringing your brother here to the Order in hopes he will become a loyal member such as yourself rather than voicing the lack of trust that accompanies his occupation and the youth of the bond between the two of you. I understand you speak if this hope because it is the same force...that I'm faced with...that I must contend with...when it comes to my little sister"
Kiyoshi sighs and he faces Zell with a neutral expression "Let me ask you a couple things. Do you trust Iliad? do you trust what it was he had to say about joining? Did it seem Sincere? Or...does it seem like a move of desperation? Surely a thief with the ability to defeat Echo would suddenly want to be in our ranks? Who do you think he was protecting Zell...himself...you...or...that woman...Sabine?" Death Crows: A summoner's eyes, or a symbol of oncoming death. Be it their master or by them.Moretkai watched as the pair has seem to grow suspicious of his presence and with a little caw, he flies over head, keeping an eye on them both from the rooftop and in the trees, remaining wit other bids whenever he could to keep himself better covered.

Zellana looked at the Prince in that silent minute, her mind not racing, though it was far from still. She noticed Kiyoshi rubbing his hands and wondered if he would remove his gloves, if he did things were not looking so good for her. Finally he spoke up, keeping the gloves on. Zellana looked the Prince in the eyes as a sign of respect since he was talking. When he spoke Zellana realized that she was not the only one with familly on the other side of the law, even the Princess was a criminal now. Zellana for the first time during the meeting with the Prince showed her first sign of pressure under his nuetral gaze. She tensed her muscles, a simple reaction, and warrented too, in her opinion. The Prince's gaze was an intimidating one. Hearing his question Zellana formulated a quick answer. "Do I trust Iliad, I can't be sure yet. He seems nice enough, honest and kind despite his occupation, but deception is a tool of the trade for a thief, and with a budding relationship and chance meeting all I have to go on, I truly can't be sure if I trust his word yet. As for who he was protecting, once again, I can't be sure," She thought for a second, "I would think himself, though he did dote over the girl for a brief period of time, from his own words he is too much of a rolling stone, a womanizer, to actually risk his neck over her, atleast in my opinion." Zellana finished saying what needed to be said and looked at Kiyoshi, awaiting a response or a dismissal.Iliad stood up, written test in hand, and walked to the front of the room he was in. The time for the written exam was over, now came the physical portion. Iliad handed his paper to the female at the desk and followed a Guard out of the room, down a hall and to a large room. It looked to be a training room. Swords hung on the wall, arrow targets lined another, and a big circular mat sat in the middle of the room. "We can't just have anyone joining our ranks, so to get in you need to demonstrate your skills with a weapon. That weapon can be anything from a sword, to a bow, to an axe, to your fists, I don't care so long as you're effective." Iliad smiled and pulled loose his daggers, but was told to put them away. "Not so fast, we already know what weapons you fight with, you told us on the sign up sheet. We will supply the weapons, less you use some unfair advantage against your opponent. Oh, that is the other thing, you will be fighting against another hopefull to get in. Yes thats right, the person to the side of you might very well be the person that stops you from joining the guards." Iliad looked around and all he could see was big, brutish men looking at him with hopefull eyes. Typical... He thought.

Kiyoshi: Eldest Prince of Astra Kiyoshi listened to her and his sharp eyes were able to see Zellana's little twitch under pressure. It tended to be times like this Kiyoshi felt the needs to apply pressure to whom he spoke with for the sake of being able to make sure he could better dissect lies from people's story. Once Zell was finished a small smile spread across his cheeks and he places his hands behind his back with a quick arch to crack it a couple times.
"Thieves can always fall back to being actors when stealing isn't in their best interest." He said, inferring that emotion was something well-trained thieves were able to manipulate well within themselves as well as others.
"Thank you very much Zellana, I think I have a good means of seeing where your brother's priorities lie. I think it would be a reasonable test should he get accepted to place him in a task force that will handle bringing down Ms. Sabine once we assess how many of the Sinners are collected outside the city by now. Alright then...you are dismissed"

With a small sigh of relief Mori was about to lay down when she got that same feeling before she met that man. Her back went ridged and every sense in her was on the edge. This time, she wasn't going to waste a moment in getting away. Moving over to the female she placed a finger on her lip before speaking. "A member of the Order is here. We must leave quickly without him noticing," she said urgently.
She hadn't taken off her hood so she just slung her pack over her shoulders again. "I can probably pick up something to help along the ways but it's best we move now." The female moved over to the window and pushed it open. "I'm taking the window out. Can't risk running into that guy."

Zellana listened to Kiyoshi talk about her brother. Assigning him to a task force to track down Sabine, has she run off or something, I thought he would conclude this with assigning me to go get Sabine myself. Zellana shooed away the thought and bowed to the Prince before turning to walk away. After taking a few steps away she remembered Amelia, Would be nice to say hi properly. She thought. Zell scanned the area until she found the small woman with the big axe, Mines bigger... Zell thought with a smirk, referring to her sword. Zellana walked over to Amelia with a smile, "Hi, how are you Lia?" She asked pleasantly. She ran a hand through her hair and sighed, "Seems even when you don't do anything wrong a talk with the Prince is flustering." She giggled softly to show she was joking, well, half joking. "So, what are you doing, planning something for the next meeting no doubt. Just try to keep liquids out of it this time, I'm still trying to wring out my clothes after last time." She shook her head remembering.Iliad stood in the middle of the circular mat in the training room. Two wooden daggers, slightly smaller than what he was used to, and lacking the curves he was accustomed to, were in his hands. Across from him was a rather large man with a wooden sword of average length. Iliad squatted low into a fighting stance, as did the man across from him. With the aproval of the guard they began to fight. The man rushed Iliad, sword high above his head, ready to crush Iliad. Really, thats how you want to go about with this. Iliad smirked and spun out of the way, hooking the man's leg in the process with one of his daggers. As Iliad stood up he shot his hand, and in the process also the man's leg, into the air. The man hit the floor hard and before he could scramble out of the way Iliad was on top of him. One knee rested at the man's sword arm's wrist, his other knee was at his neck. With a smile Iliad poked the man's stomache over and over like a kid pretending to play the drums, much to the annoyance of the helpless man. "So does this mean I win?" He asked the guard who was also smiling. "Yes, that means you win, never seen a match so one sided, I would suggest transfering over to the Order as soon as you get the chance." Iliad stood up with a smirk. "That was the plan." The guard led Iliad and the rest of the victors, two other than Iliad, out of the room and to a fitting room. "All guards are required to wear a uniform, The Order of Light members are given special permission to not wear it if they so choose, though they are still given one to wear at formal events." Iliad nodded as he was fitted for his uniform. After that was done they were given a quick tour of the baracks and sent to their own devices, now a guard they had limeted access to the castle, those in the Order were given more, but only royalty were allowed to travel where they wanted. Iliad chose to spend the time at hand figuring out how to become a member of the Order. After some snooping around Iliad found out that all it took was a simple transfer sheet, though it need to be approved by a high ranking official, maybe even the Prince himself. Iliad quickly filled out the sheet and turned it in. "All I have to do is wait for acceptance, until then, well I guess I'm free to snoop around the castle..." Iliad smiled and began to do just that, though he found nothing of worth in his travels, just the baracks and the dinning hall.

• • • Amelia had still been staring at the ceiling, fixated on that one stain as if expecting it to do a trick when she heard someone's voice breaking her out of her trance. Had she really been staring at a water spot all this time. God she needed to get out some more. Maybe a few pints down at the pub would do it. She turned and saw Zell standing before her, looking all flustered.
"Indeed..." She said giving a small once over before smirking. "I'd say you look fine but even that would be a lie. You look like hell just froze over. So, what did Mr. Serious have to say? Is it true the rumours going around that you have a brother, and a thief at that? Sound positively fictitious. Only something like this would happen in novels."
She stood and adjusted her Axe so it sat firmly on her back. She glanced briefly over her shoulder, seeing that Kiyoshi was gone again. She inwardly sighed... she would have to keep better tabs on the Prince if she wanted to speak with him at all.
"Oh come off it. I only used water once, and that was years ago. Besides... it's not necessarily you that I'll be pranking... but those new recruits. And Sier. He could use something to drag the stick out of his arse. He's far too... by the book, and needs to lighten up just a little. I haven't heard him laugh once, and thats... thats just not normal!"
Amelia laughed as well, before taking Zells hand. She revelled at how... soft it was, for that of an experienced swordsman. She couldn't help but smile. The girl after all did take good care of herself, and it showed.
"Let's patrol together. There doesn't really seemt o be anything else to do. With The Prince's death crows roaming the skies, Sier and his team out and about and the normal Guards there isn't much left for us to do right now. Might as well make sure that something doesn't happen around here. Our main duty after all, apart from finding the Princess, is keeping their Majesties safe and sound."
As they walked out into the hallway and down on their patrols, Amelia stopped, and pulled up on the fabric of Zell's tunic.
"What did you do?! How did you injure yourself like this. A few more inches and this slice could have been fatal. It's very close to an artery, and even though you seem to have creams and stuff on it, it looks nearly infected. Come, we should go clean this up right away." • • • It's true that we don't know what we've got until we lose it, but it's also true that we don't know what we've been missing until it arrives.

𝕯𝖆𝖗𝖐 𝕬𝖓𝖌𝖊𝖑━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Wondering the streets of the city, Lynda enjoyed the activities taking place in the city. Listening to the calls, the offers, and children playing, she had to stop herself from getting caught up in it all. Handy a few children pieces of candy, Lynda ruffled the hair of one boy, smiling broadly as he ran to catch up with his friends. Losing site of the children, Lynda continued on with her business, well more like continued to day dream. She once again found herself thinking of Kiyoshi, which wasn't a surprise to those that knew her well, but then again those people were dead. Running a hand through her blond hair, the slender woman groaned.
After months and months it still took a lot out of her. Accepting her families death. Shaking her head in dismay, the woman shuffled through the mobs of people. She needed to get something to drink, anything to ease her grief. Honestly, she would have ran to Kiyoshi but she figured he would never return her feelings, no matter how hard she wished he did. With her being a soldier and him royalty she really doubted something like that would ever happen, to her misfortune.
Coming to the conclusion some hard liquor was her key to some ease of mind, she made her way back home. She was originally in the market to find the princess but she figured there was no point in looking there, she was probably on the outskirts of the city, maybe passing the very walls of the great city now. Pulling her hood back over her head, the slender woman, pushed passed the people, making sure not to hurt the young or elderly.

Zellana shook her head, "Thanks..." She sighed softly and said, "I guess this is a novel then, I would offer you a leading role, but this is my story after all, though I'm always looking for major characters." She smiled at her silly little metaphor, "That is basically what he wanted to talk about though, just him and my loyalty to him I guess." Zell shrugged, "I only just met him so I can't say I would die for him, though it would suck if I had to kill him. Though from what the Prince is saying he is joining the guards, weird, I asked him to a few days ago and he refused, guess he had a change of heart." Zell shrugged once again then looked at Lia with an expression of shock, "Years, is that what you think, more like barely a few months..." Zell smiled and shook her head. "You're right, Sier is not the happiest person, and the new guys could use a good scare." Zell looked at Lia when she took her hand. She smiled when Lia did and said, "Alright, lets patrol, but is there a reason you need to hold my hand to do so?" Zell smiled a bit wider and laced her fingers between Lia's, "Not that I mind of course." They started their walk but didn't get very far before Amelia started to flip out over Zell's arm. "Don't worry about it, I already got it checked out by a doctor." She said pullind her sleeve back down embarrassed slightly at having a wound at all. "It was bad but its only getting better now, trust me." She said waving away Lia's hand from her arm. In honesty it didn't hurt, thought she was still embarrassed that she managed to get herself wounded during her fight with Sabine.

• • • Amelia opened her mouth in mock shock as Zell accused her of playing that prank only months before.
"It has not been months. I played the damn thin you'd think I'd know... unless. Oh woe! Someone is trying frame little 'ol me. They want to make sweet Amelia, into some... monster getting into trouble! Oh woe woe woe!" She was being terribly over dramatic, but she smirked and nudged Zell anyways. "Oh so what. It's called a clothes line silly. Hang your clothes on there, and they should dry. After all... it was only a few water skins filled to there haunches with water... not like I dyed it blue or anything. Your lovely blond hair would not have taken well to blue dye. Green... is not your colour."
She smiled and felt Zell lace her fingers with hers, giving her even more feel of those soft hands. How... on earth did she manage that? Amelia always believed that hers were... well close enough to scaly after a day, and no matter how hard she scrubbed, her calluses were still there, staring at her... mocking her. Amelia prided herself on her looks, as bad as it was, and she believed that hands were most important.
"Well..." She spoke again quietly, her eyes looking up from the cut above her wrist to Zell's face. Was... was that blush? How cute! "It better not leave a huge scar... that would be dreadful."
She still hadn't let go of Zell's hand, and at the present time, saw no reason to. She was quite happy holding onto it, though the only thing was how absolutely jealous she was.
"Well, at least now you know you have a family out there somewhere, and it's good that he saw the light. The Order really is one of the safest places to be. Sure people aren't to happy with the laws, but with us keeping the magic under control, less people will be injured in cross fires. I believe this sort of law should have been put up over in Arcea. At least then we would have had more strong willed people to help fight in our war. I would very much like to ride out there one day... just to see the ruins. It was a beautiful city."
She was ranting and going quite off topic but Amelia realized almost instantly. Now was no place to be speaking of her own falls... or her City. As much as she was welcomed in by the King, he didn't really like the idea of someone coming from such a city... one that could rival his own.
"Yes, that would suck... quite a lot actually." She said quietly. "Hopefully it doesn't come to that at all."
When Zell mentioned Sier, Amelia couldn't help but feel a wicked grin come onto her face.
"Oh, he deserves more then a scare..." She said, the maniacal vibes practically flying off of her. "Oh, but just think of how angry he'd be afterwards. He might have a something buried up in his arse, but he has a wicked shot and some interesting arrows that I would not want to see the end of. But think of all the pranks!" • • • It's true that we don't know what we've got until we lose it, but it's also true that we don't know what we've been missing until it arrives.

ΩAshelia Yunalessca ZinärΩ ΘShowing the world what dark meansΘ Ashelia was making her way to the palace when she stopped almost dead in her tracks. two women with REALLY big weapons. she grew a what the ******** kind of look on her face. "God I leave the city for 3 weeks and every girl has a big weapon on thier back now. But I guess its ok... mines alot bigger hehe." Ashe decided to ignore the two and continue to the palace. She hummed what was to her a sweet lovely tune while to others sounded quite creepy. the song she was humming was a death ritual spell...they were never really pretty. She moved with almost a skip in her step towards the palace. Sierinix Ferhrros Sierinix stopped drinking after a while with his scout. "hmmm...Ill leave you to follow the 2 sinners alright. I will return to the palace and pull out a couple more units to post around the city" He said as he stood up to leave the tavern. The scout nodded and stopped drinking. he couldnt fail Sierinix...no one did under his command. well you could but it would hurt alot.
Sier Walked out of the tavern back towards the barracks. the path he would take would be the one that took him straight through Zellana and Amelias patrol. it would also take him through the worsest pranks he ever thought could happen. while Walking on this path he kept an eye out for Sabine who was nowhere in sight.=|Echo Iselsi|= "I dont know, but i dont like it. With your powers and with me being a rebel...probably the order." He said without a hint of seriousiness. It almost sounded like he wanted them to come after them. "Though Its not like anyone from the Order can take us anyway. With Your powers and blade skill and my horrific needs-to-be-refined speed... how ca we lose?" Echo said with a laugh in his voice.

Kiyoshi: Eldest Prince of Astra Kiyoshi saw that Amelia went off with Zell and he decided to walk back to his palace. He then got a mental message from the Death Crow Mortekai. He smiles a slightly, hearing the report of two confirmed Sinners within the city that seemed to vaguely feel his presence and from what it appeared to him they wanted to call him out. The Prince knew how badly Mortekai liked to shut up cocky people seeing as he was a cocky little familiar himself.
"If they're looking for action Mortekai...then give it to them." He projected back before walking his way down the halls. and he received report of Iliad's successful and easy pass up to the point of acceptance to the Order from his servant and he smiles, nodding "It's only expected judging from what his sister reported to me...let me see if I can find him and-!!!"
Kiyoshi's eyes widened and he felts a tingle through his stomach. His eyes widened a little as a smile spread further across his face. Someone was coming, someone dark, someone who uses something that felt very familiar to him. His servant cocked his head and tried politely to regain his attention wondering what was wrong. Kiyoshi clenched his fist and he turned around and went for his room "Go now and place the guards on high alert, then look for Iliad and tell him to come to the throne room as soon as possible, make haste as I feel someone is here that isn't supposed to be"
Arriving at his room, Kiyoshi reached for Absolution and he looked at the blade and smiles a little. Kiyoshi wondered how this person might've made their way into the palace without any suspicion from anyone, especially since Zell and Amelia went to patrol. Friendship, helps and hurts so it seems. While he wouldn't be too happy if this person couldn't be stopped by his Order, part of him wouldn't mind confronting this brave soul. They had to be looking for him. Why else would they be in here and starting a ritual without any explanation that reached his ears? Death Crows: A summoner's eyes, or a symbol of oncoming death. Be it their master or by them.Moretkai was delighted to receive his order and with a caw, he flew off the rooftop and he perched himself on a tree around the center, gazing at the pair unblinkingly. Wanting to see how long they would grow suspicious of him before he could go ahead and get the party started.
Xelourus was continuing his patrol and he could see Mortekai down below. From what he saw, he caught some Sinners and judging from the cautious movements within the busy market streets, it was a male and female. He knew hoe Mortekai could get when he wanted to fight so he decided to keep an eye out for surrounding areas in case more support came or if he would need it against these two, but he had his doubts he would need it as long as he stayed focused.

<..:::Ira:::..>Ira heard the way he wasn't even worried. At his words about them not needing to be afraid she almost relaxed, but kept her guard up. At his comment about his speed she chuckled. "If you learned to harness that no one would e able to beat you. And If need be, I can create a diversion to help us get out of the city." She said in a calm voice, almost like she were talking about the weather. Ira let her gaze wander around the market. And, once again, a child ran into her. She stopped and looked down at the child. It was the same one from before. Ira raised an eyebrow. Was this child following her? The child looked up and smiled at her. Ira let a small smile cross her face.

ΩAshelia Yunalessca ZinärΩ ΘShowing the world what dark meansΘ Ashelia made it quite easily into the palace. the guards she ran into were either to busy looking at her or had their eyes split. She managed to find herself in one of the minor hallways of the palace. "hmmm, there must be some sort of dark hidden knowledge some where in the god foresaken hole. argh... i want a map." Ashe went to lean her back on a door but it opened when she did and she fell through with a thud. surely someone could have heard that and she wasnt supposed to be here. After standing back on her feet, she quickly formed a lunic eclispe rune on her hands before continueing down the hall.=|Echo Iselsi|= Echo saw the little girl that ran into Ira and got a somewhat puzzled look. "Eh we shouldnt need a diversion, there is no way im being forced out of my home. I have fought countless enemies for this place...im not leaving without a fight."
