Yarotai sighed in relief and shook his head as the girl crossed the threshold into his apartment. The young man followed her into the front room that served as both and entry way and a living room with a balcony on the far wall. In the center of which was a low table with various throw pillows surrounding it, obviously taking the place of a conventional table. On either side of the room was a single door that was closed as well as a small kitchenette near to the door. Once the Chuunin's shoes were removed he made his way fully into the room, "That door on your right is the bathroom. The one on the left is my bedroom. I don't have any extra closet space so we'll have to look into getting you a dresser or something later. I've got a couple of extra blankets that you can use. If you're hungry just raid the fridge."
With that he made his way into the room that he indicated as his own and shortly after sounds of rustling and searching could be heard. After about ten minutes the man emerged again with a blanket and comforter that he placed besides the table. He then took a seat at the table and placed a scroll on the center of it, "Now what do you know about ninjutsu?"

And yes, blankets I can sure use." speaking from over her shoulder, as she was going though the refrig, she saw some left over food what seems to be from a restaurant. Not caring what kind it was, she took out all of the food and warmed it up in the microwave.
Once done, she set herself down at the table and started with the first course of chicken with rice. Otome wolf it down, she hasn't eaten for three long days. When she finished, Otome ate the sushis, then next were the noodle soup which seems to be ramen. Otome finished eating and heard him ask her question and replied, " No...what is that?" asking

Yarotai paid no attention to the girl's lack of manners as she wolfed down his food without so much as a thanks. His days as an instructor had long since established that children were quick to judge and slow appreciate. A trait that they would all grow out of with time and experience he hoped. When she let out that she had no knowledge of ninjutsu he couldn't help but think that she was lying to him. With several open shinobi wars in the past and an ongoing one within the Fire Country itself, it was hard for him to believe that someone who claimed to be a traveling performer would have no knowledge of at least what ninjutsu was vaguely. Gypsies and nomads were supposed to be wealths of information and rumors.
The Chuunin unfurled the scroll along the center of the table, revealing twelve depictions of a set of hands forming various designs. He pointed down to them with his eyes locked on the girl, "Within everyone is a blood circulation system. A series of veins, arteries, and organs to transfer oxygen enabling the body to move. Likewise there is what is called a chakra circulatory system. A series of similar tubes that lead to various points inside and outside of your body. Ninjutsu is the art of using that chakra to perform techniques that enable humans to do otherwise impossible things. Most of those techniques are used to harm others, which is why they are explicitly taught to aspiring ninjas.
The Academy is where we teach the basics of ninjutsu and it just so happens that I'm an instructor there. Since you have nothing better to do I'll be enrolling you into the Academy and you'll remain a student there until either you graduate and become a Genin. Which entails you swearing loyalty to Konoha in return for the protection and aid from its' members. Or until you decide that living in the immigrant sector for the rest of the war suits you better. Your choice.
At any rate the first lesson for aspiring ninjas is to master forming handseals. Handseals are what allow us to mold chakra inside of our bodies correctly to perform techniques. We'll go into chakra molding more later. For tonight just work on that."
With his speech completed the young man removed himself from the table and went into his own room, carefully shutting the door behind him. The girl was left alone in the room with the scroll still laid out before her.
Handseals Description: The first thing the students needed to learn were the handseals that made the Jutsus possible. All twelve should be familiarized. The rules are as follows: Roll 1d20 for each seal, one at a time. The Student must get a 12 or higher in order to correctly perform a seal. Each seal must be performed once correctly before being learned. Use the formula: [1d20 + Int Mod. = (#)]. DC: 12 Total Seals Learned: 0/12 **note: No Hp or Cp cost.

Life can be so cruel but she will somewhere manage. Otome watched him leave to his bedroom. Feeling bored she decide to give the handseals a try. I mean, it's got to be a simple thing to do. Otome stood up from the table and looked at the scroll, careful reading the direction. Once finished, she did the handsigns. Fusion all of her chakra. Otome could feel the power flowing though her body as the color of her reviled the color of silver white.

Hand steal It was a fail one but Otome decide to give it another try. Doing her handsigns and focusing a bit more of her charka. But it seemed she was having a bit of trouble with summoning her charka. Otome could feel her charka surfing but she seemed to be stacked. This, somewhat started to make her feel stress out. Otome had to try to harder and maybe focus more on her charka. She continue practice on her hand seal an till she gotten it right.

Otome felt like a light switch. Going on, off, again, and again. This was frusting her even more. I mean, she didn't know what she was doing wrong. I mean, Otome did read the directions on the scroll before doing the hand seal. Just what was she doing wrong? Otome decide to take deep breaths to cool her nerves for a minute. Once, she was calm Otome continue doing her hand seals. This was going to be an all nighter and she pretty much wasn't going to get some sleep. Failure

Otome continue on with her hand seal training. So far, it seems that she was getting close but had a long way to go. Even if it took all night she wasn't going to get any sleep till she got it. Otome yawned, she was starting to get sleepy but couldn't quickly now. She had to try even harder. In truth, learning this jutsu for the first time was a b***h. This was even worse then practicing her magic trick from the old man in the citrus. Ah...those brought great memoirs. Failure No Hp or Cp cost Handseals 3-1= 2 Int Mod. Total Seals Learned: 2/12

Otome was staring to feel very much tired. Her mind was telling her that she had to get some rest. Even though, Otome would love to get some sleep but would like to give it a couple of tries before heading to bed. She did her hand seals and could feel her chakra getting much stronger. This could mean that she was getting closer to her goal but had to wait and see, till she reaches her goal. Just a couple of more hours and then she can get some rest, and get a good night sleep.

Tenma couldn’t help but smile at Rhiam’s comment on not wanting to carry anything heavy as he was walking around. Yes, it was understandable; but it was also highly amusing. The child had some experience with carrying a heavy burden, physically, on her trips to Amegakure. Having to pack for a few weeks wasn’t exactly a recipe for a light load, but she wasn’t going to complain about it. “I see,” Her eyes watched his hand closely as her began to draw a symbol on the scroll in front of him. “That is quite clever of you, Rhiam.” It was true that it was an intelligent move on his part; it was one that she would have to look into herself someday. “Do you mind if I train in here as well? I am planning on learning the Capoeira taijutsu style, so if it will be too much of a distraction I will find somewhere else to train.” Though she was hoping to be around Rhiam more, it almost felt like there was time that needed to be made up, but she also didn’t want to become a distraction and a burden.

To Rhaim's great pleasure the small scroll disappeared from sight into the design on the medium scroll. Though it would take a few more attempts, the boy was fairly certain that he could manage to master at least the most basic form of the jutsu in a relatively short time. He turned towards Tenma with a look of curious excitement at her mentioning the style of fighting she wanted to learn.
Any response however was cut off by the entrance of his mother and sisters with the prepared food, "No taijutsu in the house please. I like keeping my glass in tact. And no training until you've eaten. GIRLS! SUPPER!"
Rhaim slowed his mind back down and pulled himself up from the floor and towards the dining room table. He gave a shrug in passing to Tenma and took his usual seat. There were no settings for the three members of the family that weren't currently there, indicating that they wouldn't be showing up. Chicken curry, rice, a large bowl of salad, condiments and a pitcher of water sat in the center of the table. The which were soon dug into by the remaining members of the family in an attempt to get desired portions of each.

Otome was getting the hang with her hand sealing but still has a long way to go. She kept practicing with her hand seal as usual, she kept going at it for maybe an hour or so. But wasn't sure since she didn't look to check the time, to keep track. Otome continue with her hand seal getting closer in perfection with her hand seal. She was already starting to feel bored in doing but she couldn't complain, after all she didn't want to end up as a failing. No Hp or Cp cost Handseals 16-1= 15 Int Mod. Total Seals Learned: 4/12

Otome was starting to get the hang of it. She felt proud of herself but didn't want to jump with joy just yet, beside this was something she didn't want to think that she was finished just yet, Otome decide to work a little more harder on her hand seal, but for now, she decide to take a moment for at least, 3 hours rest first. I mean, she had gotten any rest and has been practicing with her hand seals for god knows how long. Otome went over to her bag, taking out her blanket. wrapping it around her body, and laid in the floor. Getting a good three hours of rest. No Hp or Cp cost Handseals 18-1= 17 Int Mod. Three hours later, Otome awake up from her nap. She threw the covers off, stood up, and starting practicing her hand seal. Otome felt a bit better from taking from her nap but still felt a bit tired but she couldn't really complain. little by, little she started to get a little better, each time with her hand seals. Otome was maybe getting much closer to her hand seal into perfection. She wondered, if that guy would up to check on her. Otome shook that thought out of her head, hell he could be still sleeping and wouldn't care. While she practice with her hand seal.

Otome was upset with herself. She didn't know what just happened, maybe she didn't get enough sleep and need to recharge herself. She was very stressed out, she couldn't even think straight. Otome should have slept longer to get some fully good rest. She went to laid back down on the floor, in the same spot where she slept and fell back to sleep. Having good long hours of sleep should make her fully better in the morning.
