Koko took moment to gather her thoughts. She didn't really want to repeat what she saw....but it was just a dream. Maybe it would be best to let it out-but she didn't plan on telling all the details. She took a deep breath and skimmed one hand down his back.
She began with the pleasentness of 'their' children and him when suddenly things started falling apart. The kids disappeared...he was taken....her father, brother, and rest of her kin banishing her. And then they forced her to watch Drake be killed.....
....she didn't say who killed him though.
She stood there silent after that with his arms around her.

Drake nodded sadly and pulled her a little closer, kissing the top of her head.
"Just a dream that never happened and never will. you're just stressed, that's all."
He bent a little and kissed her eyelids gently as if making better her earlier tears.
"So no worries,eh? how about we hire that taxi? Its probably going to be expensive if we're travelling for a couple of hours."
The light behind the curtains was dimming with a pleasant orange glow. he wished he could watch the sunset, but he didn't want to risk burning himself.
he imagined the sky a rosy read 'shepherd's delight' and promising good weather for the next day. At any rate it sounded like the rain had let off.

Koko slowly nodded-almost ready to tear up again from recalling the remember and his gentleness. She went to the phone and found the phone book the hotel kept in the room with the bible....she shoved that back far in the drawer and then sat on the unoccupied bed. "When should I tell them to arrive?" she asked finding a service. "An hour? Two?"
Buster pounced playfully on Drakes feet.

Drake glanced over at Judith.
"An hour.. the sun should be set and it'll give us plenty of time without being too unsociable for the Taxi-driver's timeslot."
he smiled down at Buster and poked him playfully to provoke him itno a play-fight.

Koko nodded and dailed the number. While it rang she glanced at the duo and smiled. Once she heard someone on the other end and glanced down and gave the needed information.
Buster wagged his little tail and looked up. He gave cute puppy barks and went after Drake's fingers.

Drake chuckled and let Buster chase his fingers around, making the little guy run in circles while poking him lightly in the side with his other hand.

Koko hung up and took a place next to Drake. She watched at Buster began confused.....trying to decide which hand to go after. He would for for one but then the other hand got him and when he tried to jump back and snag it the other one came back. He whined as he continued to play offense and defense. His siblings wondered over and Koko tickled them behind the ear. Tyler then wondered back for second helpings of milk while Koko scooped Angel up and cuddled her to her chest. "You're going to end up getting mauled," she teased while watching.

"they're not all that tough." Drake smiled. he did let one hand slow down though, giving buster a chance to get his own back and actually catch him.
"Did you book the taxi ok?"

"Yeah...the cab is booked," Koko replied as Buster slobbered all over Drake's hand.
"And I wasn't talking about the pups being the ones doing the mauling," she laughed and leaned in to kiss his cheek.

Drake laughed.
"eww gross Buster..."
he then tilted his head and pecked her on the lips.
"Who then? The adult doggies or you?"

"Oh....the adults, of course," Koko replied sarcasstically while Angel pawed at her sweater. Bly strolled over to join in the play.

Drake smiled and picked buster up, making faces at him and then turning the pup gently upside down to tease him.
"Just checking."

Buster squirmed and wiggled in Drake's hands. His head looked about in all directions from the new perspective. Bly nudged the boy to assure him it was alright.
Koko felt a bit hungry then and remember the 'V8' she packed in an insulated lunchbox that she shoved in the bag before they left. She got up to quickly retrieved it. "I know its not your favorite form of consumption," she said handing him one of the small bottles. "But it will hopefully tide you over."

Drake smiled and then set Buster back on his feet.
he looked relieved at the blood and took his share happily, pecking her on the cheek to show his gratitude.
"thankyou, I was beginning to worry about that."

"You're welcome," Koko smiled after the kiss. She then took out the small bit of dog food and gave it to Yoki and Bly who seemed quite happy with the meal. Then she sat down on the edge of the bed and had took a sip of her beverage.
