It was Anoki! It really was, it was him, and they had built a mound together and she rememberd those horns! She did! Earako shook with the effort of containing her excitement, putting one hand over her mouth and squeezing her Da's hand very tight. She was going to be good. She was.
Which meant that the familiar boy got a wave instead, enthusiastic and accompanied by her bouncing up on her toes a few times. This was going to be so fun! She would get to meet her egg and they would be friends and...
Calm. This was her not upsetting the nice teacher man who had said she had good manners. Quiet. She could do that.
When the teacher said they could talk (except her Da' couldn't) she decided to risk it, though in something softer still from even her usual half whisper. "It's ok Da'. Sometimes I get in trouble too." She told him, knowing full well he was furious, and patting his hand gently.
That taken care of, she quickly waved at Anoki again, just as enthusiastic as the first time. "'noki? You remember? We played... and you fell... and there was snow..." She whispered hurriedly, while they followed the teacher. She hoped he did. She hoped...
The egg made her forget that new anxiety, her gaze transfixed on the shape in the flame. She couldn't hold it? Well... that was ok. She could see it. And it was beautiful. And she liked red...
"Do you, know, maybe, what it likes? I want to make it be my friend." There, she'd asked. Hopefully the teacher wouldn't be mad about the question. But she wanted to have a present for when it hatched... and it had to be the right present.
A fire dragon... maybe she could give it a candle.

Anoki was at first focused on the man giving the instructions. He reminded him a little of Mama Ray, so he wanted to make sure to listen well. He sure didn't want to get hit on the head with a book! So all he had to do was be quiet and not talk when the teacher was talking, and talk softly when the teacher wasn't talking.
Once that was settled he actually got to look around. There were a couple girls in pink he didn't know, and a couple kids that he did. There was the one he'd met at the swings. And the girl with the wings- who was waving at him!
"'R-rako!" That was her name, right? "I 'm-member. It w-was sn-snowy and we p-played and... a-and..." Well, that was about it, wasn't it? But he wanted to say something else. "You look p-pretty."
That was what Mahou and Mama Ray liked to hear, so Anoki figured it was something that girls liked. Besides, she did. All the girls did, really.
"Anoki Kenelm, be quiet." Raven folded her arms and listened. If she was to teach the dragons along with their partners, she might as well start learning about them. Besides, she certainly wouldn't break any of those rules laid out, or risk being asked to leave.
Though she couldn't resist a small smirk as one of the louder clildren and her guardian were both bapped on the head. Served them right for being so tardy. At least she had an excuse.
Quickly falling silent, Anoki decided to watch the eggs instead. Earako's looked so pretty, all bright and shiny!

He was well aware he'd likely earned some harsh looks, or hateful thoughts. It was better that way. He didn't want people to cling to him as the 'cool teacher,' or think he was nice. He knew he was a cold, harsh pain in the neck. He realized that more than most people. And he had no intention of doing anything about it.
Haruki rather liked his solitude, and when people enjoyed your company they came to visit. Visits meant socializing, and socializing meant a rather annoyed Haru. It was a repeated cycle. So rather than let it start up, he ended any thoughts of being marked as nice, nifty, or cool right away. Obviously it was working, seeing as how the woman was barely able to keep her voice straight when she was 'appologizing.' When that talkative child needed to go see a teacher for someone, she'd go to someone else, that suited him just fine.
Now, if Haruki had known his demonstration had just earned him the title of 'cool' with Gabby, he'd have corrected her right away. Sadly, he didn't, and so on went the explaination. Too bad, he'd probably pay for it later by getting a headache from the girls chattering.
"Red dragons tend to be the greatest hoarders of all the dragons. I would suggest some sort of treasure, a gem, or gold." He glanced at the girl. "Or perhaps you can make it something that will mimic a treasure. It might like that as well." Haru back off from the egg, obviously intending to move on soon if there was nothing else she'd like to ask. "Can I answer any further questions? If not, I'd like to show the other's their eggs." And get this over with. "You're welcome to stay and watch your egg if you'd like, just do not touch it." For obvious reasons.
The next egg they'd run into... Ah yes... The silver. For the rather loud mouthed bird. Close to that was Paxton's gold. From there he'd move onto the south american amphitere for the chameleon, and lastly the special addition. Anoki's own red dragon.

Treasure? Earako didn't have any treasure. Maybe her and her Da' could go out and buy some. Or find some, like pirates did. That was how you got treasure, she was pretty sure. By being a pirate.
"I'll stay, please." The little bat said, her eyes still fixed on the egg. She wanted to be with her friend just a little longer before she had to move on. Maybe she'd catch up in a little while.
((In the middle of moving. Sorry for the short response.))

He gave her a nod, before glancing at the group. "Alright, let's move on. Next will be Miss Gabby's egg." He announced, moving toward a rather snowy display.
As he reached it, he pointed at a lump in the snow. "This, is a silver dragon's egg." Obviously he was back into lecture mode. "This egg must be kept buried in snow at temperatures lower than zero degrees to keep from dying." He rubbing at the back of his head, glancing to the golden egg nearby. He'd just explain the pairs together. "Silver dragons are born with blue-gray scales, these have a hint of silver to them. They will slowly move to a more silver color as the dragon grows." He paused taking a breath, preparing to end this brief explaination for the other eggs. "Silver dragons prefere high, or aerial areas for living, and are kind natured in most senses." Yes, they where more likely to aide, than cause trouble. "If you have any questions please wait a moment to ask them. And you may hold you egg briefly if you'd like. Though not for long." Not that he really wanted to reach into that snow to drag out the pure silver colored egg.
With that, the red head was off toward another fired wreathed egg. This one though, had a more glittering gold color to it. "Paxton, this is a gold dragon egg." As if it needed to be said. "It, like Earako's. must be kept in open flame at one-hundred and forty degrees. That means you can't hold it." He continued to watch the thing. "Gold dragons are born a deep yellow color with golden flecks. Like the others this color will spread with age until the dragon is completely gold." Which earned it the name, how clever. "Gold dragons tend to live anywhere that pleases them, and are considered to be one of the wisest dragons. Like the silver dragon, these are considered to be more kind, or 'good' dragons."
With that said, he looked at the set of birds. "Do you have any questions?"

Paxton had wandered along aimlessly following the group, not really paying attention to what Haru had said, until they came to Earako's egg. Huh, well that was neat and interesting. Even if he wasn't really in the mood to be here, and Ma' was pushing him to be sociable...he had to admit now he was becoming slightly excited about his own egg.
He had never really thought about getting his Dragon before. Ma' didn't talk about it, and except for the occasional appearance of one of the older children's dragons he didn't really hear about them. Ah, and yet, they would be such an important part of his life.
Paxton's eyes gazed over at Gabby's egg. Silver dragon, hmmn, a snowy environment. He couldn't help but think it was rather pretty sitting there in the snow. Of coarse when he eyed his own golden dragon, he was, for lack of better words, breathless.
There was something inspiring about that golden egg wreathed in flame. It almost seemed to command power and respect from Paxton. Even if Paxton had been born heat resistant he still wouldn't have touched his egg...he almost felt unworthy of such a magnificent thing.
"No questions...." said the little Love Bird still mesmerized by his eggs shimmering glow. He was like a moth being drawn to light, immobilized and transfixed.
Naito snorted from the back of the group, 'A wise dragon eh?' Well, perhaps getting a dragon won't be all bad. Maybe it could impart some wisdom on the boy...especially when it came to being social. The boy may have been intelligent but when it came to social skills he has feathers for brains.'

Excellent, Paxton had no questions. Just as Haruki had assumed. He'd only met the boy briefly, but he seemed one to go with the flow and be on the quieter side. Soemthing he'd grown to like int he boy. No like was too strong a word, tolerate. Yes, he tolerated Paxton, and thus didn't dislike him as he did with most things. Though that didn't mean the little lovebird could go anywhere near him, or bother him. It wasn't part of Haruki's duties to put up with the bird outside of D-Corp. Thus, his interest was strictly limited to what went on here now. It made his life simpler, and much more managable. He didn't like dealing with kids for long periods of time. At least, not ones that wouldn't shut up and let him think.
Which meant he hated ones like Gabby.
His fingers curled tightly around the book, and clipboard he was carrying as he listened to the girl speak. Quick questions one after another. There went his silence, broken again by that girl's speech. Oh... He really was not going to like her. May the gods never force him to deal with that kid again. Quietly and patiently he waited for her questions to end regarding the dragon before he took a breath to begin explaining again. He hadn't said all of this? Well alright... While he spoke he pushed a bit of snow off the egg, ignoring the bitter cold around his hands as he plucked up the thing, and held it out to the girl.
"No, once it hatches it will no longer need to be kept in snow." Filling her room with snow was a ridiculous idea to begin with. "It will indeed like a more cold atmosphere, but it will be able to survive in normal temperatures. It's simply more vulnerable while an egg." Which was true, eggs where delicate things. "Your dragon is carnivorous, meaning it eats meat. It may, or may not prefere cold foods, though I don't it will like ice cream very much." Ice cream? That was absurd. "Certainly the dragon will have it's own tastes." Did these questions of her's ever end? "There are other dragons that enjoy chilly environments, but I'm not discussing those at the moment." He closed his eyes a moment, taking a breath. So many questions, a bit repetitive wasn't she? "No, you do not need to take it up mountains, and yes it will like mountains. As I stated, the silver dragon preferes lofty places, suggesting higher areas. Like a mountain."
He quickly made sure to give the egg to the girl as soon as she had a firm grasp on it. That thing wasn't any warmer than the freezing temperatures around it. He certainly didn't want to keep his hands on it.
"Do you have any further questions?"

Anoki watched from the back of the group. As much as he would have liked to go and look at the eggs up close, Raven's hand on his shoulder prevented him from moving. He hoped that he would get to get a better look at his egg, whenever they got to it. So far they were all very pretty and bright. He would probably end up with a boring one... but that was bad to think, he chided himself. His dragon would be awesome no matter what it looked like.
Standing still was starting to make his legs ache, so Anoki gently pulled away and edged towards the other kids. The one who was talking a lot startled him a bit, but he at least knew two of the other kids, and the other girl wasn't so chirpy. The last time he'd asked that many questions Raven had made him look up all the answers in big dusty books, whether he wanted to by that time or not.
Listening to the inane questions of children was not the way Raven had envisioned spending her evening. Stifling a yawn, she looked around at the other eggs. D-Corp certainly had their hands full.

No further questions. Excellent. He took the egg back from the girl, and quickly replaced it, once more covering the thing with snow. "Alright then, as it was said before, you're welcome to wait here with your egg if you would like." He was ready to finish this all up, but there where still two more. Ah yes... He had a ways to go still. Picking up the book,a nd board again, he turned to walk off without waiting for the girl's decision. Next would be that Chameleo.
Hmm... Maybe the noisy one would stay behind, that would definitely help. One of the children left hadn't spoken yet, not much anyway. The other was fairly quiet too. So if the bird stayed behind he'd have a bit of peace and quiet for a moment or two. A pleasant thought indeed.
With that in mind he headed off to where the next egg was, and soon reached the display. This time the seeting was vivid greenery surrounding the egg. The plants looked somewhat tropical, certainly nothing like the snow of the egg. If anything the climate around the egg could be considered humid. "Miss Antaela, this is a South American Amphithere." He started, brushing aside a few leaves to show the green lotched egg for any who where still with the group. "Your dragon prefere's a more tropical climate as is obvious. It must be kept in a humid, misty environment." He glanced at her quickly, checking that the chameleon was paying attention. "They're known for their exotic plumage, and where once worshipped as gods by an acient civilization." He continued, crossing his arms, and letting the leaf fall back over it. No more holding eggs, he was ready to be done with this. "Do you have any questions regarding your dragon, or may we move on?"
One more left, then he could be free of these kids for a while.

Faidraesmiled, but stayed quiet, waiting for her daughter to ask her questions.
Ana's eyes were full of awe, as she gazed at her egg. " Will it have wings ? " She asked, in a nearly breathless voice. " And what will it eat ? " A little disappointed at not getting to actually hold her egg, Ana opted to ask questions instead. But she knew there was probably a good reason for her not being allow to hold the egg ...

Done staring, transfixed and daydreaming at the swirl of flames around her brightly coloured egg, Earako had reluctantly said her goodbyes. She might have stayed with it forever, but she couldn't be help but be curious about what was going on with the other children. Holding tightly to her Da's hand, and whispering a thank you to him, because he was still minding his manners in front of the teacher, Earako returned to the group.
She managed to catch the tail end of the lecture on the newest egg, and heard the unfamiliar girl ask her question. Good questions too, she thought, though she was still proud of hers. It was important to know what things liked. She very much wanted to make her dragon happy when it hatched.
Leading her Da' along with her, she managed to move close to Anoki. She didn't say anything, the teacher probably wouldn't like that. But she wanted to be close to someone who was familiar.
What kind of egg would he get?

((Nope, just the fact Haruki is tired of being stuck in a room with people. XP))
A few small questions and he could move on. Well at least she had less to ask then the previous girl did. "Yes, your dragon will indeed have wings when it hatches." He stated, noting that the misting device had turned on for the egg. Even if the children wanted to hold the eggs, it was better just to leave them int he environment. Holding the things didn't hurt the egg really, but it couldn't be good either. Yes, he justified his own selfish desire to be done with the children as helping to ensure the egg hatched perfectly fine. It worked well enough in his opinion.
"As for it's diet. It is a carnivore as well." Most dragons tended to have a diet consisting mainly of meats. But apparently the children didn't know that. Well, perhaps they'd figure it out. "Now then, let's move on. You are welcome to wait here with your egg if it pleases you, Miss Anataela." He called promptly, before turning to move toward the last egg.
Another red dragon.
He soon arrived at the egg, turning to the 'extra' child who had joined for a moment. "Anoki Kenelm, this is your dragon. It is a red dragon, the same as miss Earako's." He started, directing a hand toward the red surfaced egg, flames wreathing it quite like the previous egg had been. Once more brilliant firelike marks shone on the surface, as well as... Was that a crack? Haruki mentally chocked it up, and hoped the child wouldn't notice. "Again these are sometimes known as fire dragons, and it will be born scarlet colored. It's reasons for hiding in caves or underground as it does are due to the fact it's bright colors would make it easy prey for any predator the young dragon would have to fear." Nothing liked being eaten, it was only natural it would prefere not to be eaten. "Once again, the egg is being kept at 140 degrees in open flames." Oh yes, he hated repeating himself, but it was necessary.
"I would hope you listened when I spoke to Miss Earako, so I will not need to repeat answers for any of her questions, but you are free to ask them now." So very close to being done, just a moment or two longer.
