"I am concerned for that too, but usually when an estate is sold, the service workers are kept with the house, so they can still make a living in a familiar setting, also relieving a burden to the new owner from having to find new house staff." Fae explained. She knew much of a household, especially one with high standing and rank in society.
"And since they decide to enroll you at the academy, you'd be staying in the dorms I believe. But as soon as the sale is made, and you are sent off while they do whatever it is they are going to do, I will be the owner of the estate. I won't change your room, and you won't be alone. I plan to use the space as a halfway sort of home for our friends......like Flit." she handed the somber little faerie to Ryu.
"She needs a home, and a good provider. Are you content with the plans I am making and being her custodian?" Fae teased with a grin.

"I have but one objection." Ryu stated, after thinking over what had been said. (And until his eyes were wiped free of tears.) "Flit stays with me, in the school. That is, if its ok with you?" He asked, turning his eyes tword the green haired one, hopefulness apparent on his face as he did so. The boy didn't know if he could stand being that far away from Flit. Especially since he didn't think he could manage teleporting to her, without her.

Flit bounced up from Ryu's hand and hugged his cheek happily.
"Of course I'll be there! Like I'm going to let you go off on your own to a new school and all, sheesh!" she teased him lovingly. She hugged his cheek as hard as she could. Fae giggled at Flit's display.
"Yes, but on one condition I have, she must stay hidden as much as possible. Your job is to protect her. She is the first to be soul-bound to a half-elf, not just an ordinary human. She is very special, because it is her soul binding that has made your magicks as strong as they are." Fae stressed gently.
"You must both be safe." she tilted her head and smiled, "But I'm sure you both will be."

"Hide her....?" Ryu asked, raising a quizzical eyebrow. "But I thought that only people like me could even SEE her...people who believed.....am I supposed to hide her from the creatures in the school?" He asked, afraid more for Flit's sanity then the task of hiding her. Maybe he could get a foggy glass pendent with air-holes, so that if he put Flit in it, it'd just look like an emerald......It wasn't a pleasent thought, but he'd find a way if he had to.

"Exactly." Fae nodded.
"There are many creatures sympathetic to our cause, but there may be some who are not, um, sympathetic, just hostile." she tried to sound light hearted about this idea, even though it was one of her fears. She knew what kind of dark and evil creatures were in these woods, and the knowledge of the school being host to such beasts and powers made her frightened.
"I have an idea." Fae moved away from Ryu towards the guilded birdhouse by the fireplace. She unlatched the roof and swung it up and open. She bent at the waist to reach in. Fae seemed to dig about a bit as she tried to find something.
"A-ha! Here it is!" she exclaimed as she turned briskly to face Ryu. She held up a dainty little dress about the perfect size for Flit. "Ooooooo, pretty....." Flit alighted and sped to Fae's hands. "Are you meaning I am to dress as a doll?" Flit asked confused.

A doll. As if his blue hair didn't get him picked on enough in school. Now he had to carry around a DOLL.
Well....if it meant keeping Flit with him.....
The boy nodded solemly, waiting in the background for Fae to answer Flit, before an idea popped into his head. "We're...probably gonna haveto cut holes in the back, for her wings..."

(((it's ok))) "Well, I didn't mean for you to carry her around constantly. It was more of an idea so you could keep her in your dorm room." Fae said blushing, embarrassed for making such a proposition.

"Well....I....uh....I bet she would look cute in it." Ryu said, encouragingly to his mother.......before blushing deeply as he realized what he had just said. "Erm....can we use magic? Turn her into something more human? Just while people are acctually looking at her?"

"Most people won't see her. We could do something like a pouch you can wear around your neck, filled with down which will keep her warm and safe, and keep people from eyeballing you oddly." Fae giggled.
"But take the dress anyways, she is naked afterall...." Fae looked at Flit amused and stuck her tongue out at the little faerie. "Hey! I'll have you know, this is acceptable amongst my kind!" Flit turned bright green, then scrambled to put the little dress over her head to hide herself from further inspection.

((She is? *blink blink* *looks at pic* Huh. Looks like she's wearing a white dress to me.))
Ryu blushed, amazed that he hadn't noticed that by now. Especially given how many times they had cuddled already. Gingerly, he scooped the little fairy into his hand, trying to figure out exactly where to cut it, without damaging her gossomer wings. "I was thinking something of a magical costume. One she could slip in and out of at will....then again. I know the least about magic of anyone here." He said, smiling. The idea could work. He just hated the idea of trapping the tiny woman.

Flit poked her head out of the neckline of the dainty little dress, and her arms into the long white lace sleeves.
"No worries about cutting" she said as she turned around, "It's backless." (((nope definitely nakey!)))

Ryu shrugged, smiling at the newly clothed Flit. "Well....I hope you like it." He said, averting his eyes as he tried to will his face back to its normal pigmentation. "So....should we make the pouch thing now..?" He asked, trying desperately to change the subject. If Flit was ok with being inside it, then so was he. Atleast, thats what he told himself.

The boy on her back now, and his legs in the loops her arms made, she began to walk back to the school, the twilight of the eve coming upon them slowly. The two Sprites that always followed her had poofed away, leaving her alone with her new little companion.

Flit finished dressing herself, now painfully aware that Ryu hadn't noticed her before. Boys, she thought to herself with a little eye roll as she tried to button the back on the dress. It was soft and she was warmer now, she liked clothes. When she was done, she flew over to the already opened bird house and disappeared inside. "Flit has something for that" Fae said as she watched Flit button herself into her adorable new garb, and fly over to the birdhouse.
She turned her eyes back to Ryu with a concerned look in her eyes, but a warm smile on her face.

Ryu nodded, shutting his eyes as he began breathing. Slowly, deeply, and purposfully, as he tried to calm himself down.
About a minete later, every trace of red had been cleansed from the boy's face, and he finally opened his eyes, looking at his mother. "I'm....still uncertain about this....but, Mom...how did you know to send Flit to me?" He asked, looking upon her, a questioning look on her eyes.
