 "Mother..." Evernight whispered towards her "There coming..." Evernight looked out on to the grounds to see more fae approaching. Evernight grabbed her mothers hand and squeezed it. "I love you mother"

 Winter squeezed her daughters hand reasurringly. "Be strong." She whispered and nearly vanished into thin air appearing before the sun king, "Anor." She growled clashing her scythe against his sword.Anor smiled cruely, "Well if it isn't Winter. Isn't the seelie court a little warm for you?" He sneared moving his face close to hers, "You're looking beautiful as ever."Winter pulled away sharply, "What are you doing here?" She snarled readying herself for another attack.
Anor glared at her, "Because Winter I'd heard rumor you were here." He swung his sword towards her, "This blasted winter is taking over all the courts, my court thrives off the sunlight and heat not cloudy blizzards of frozen waste." He snarled slashing at her once again, "And my dear the last time I checked you were the reigning deity of snow and winter." He swung one last time pushing her to the ground, "And remember I am Sunlight now, the sun king just as you are winter the queen of winter. Or should I be calling you by your real name?"
Winter scoffed pushing him off of her, "A name I hardly remember? Would it matter." She rounded her scythe catching him by the back of his neck pulling him in close, "You forget that while the sun may melt winter, the clouds are always blocking your heat and I will always win. I am not causing this ridiculous bout of winter call off your men before we both suffer losses." She snapped and released him to do as he pleased.
Anor growled but raised his arm, "Halt!"
Winter did the same, "Halt!" Both sides stood at a stand still while Winter waited for Anor to make his move.
"We appear to have made a grave mistake here. Miss Winter claims that she is not the cause of this storm, the 6 courts will meet to discuss the matter" He said finally. He turned to Winter, "I would have loved to finish this battle though. Shall I give the orders to start up again?"
Winter pulled his arm down keeping her distance, "The ruling courts will join together in the study with a solitary we found. Have your men clean up this mess they made in my sisters library." She snapped and stormed towards her nephew who would continue the fight if given the opportunity and grabbed the sword from his hand. "We are done with this." She said letting it vanish against her once more. She took flames sword as well and headed towards her sisters. "This fight is over, for now. Let us discuss what is happening in the Kingdoms."

Frost sighed audibly, for he so loved fighting. "Oh, why does it always have to be politics that ruin the fun..." He grumbled.

Winter glanced towards Frost, "Make sure everyone is cleaning up nephew." She said and walked through the door.
As everyone was seated Winter took the lead of the discussion, it was a habit she would never break. "Since you were the lead on this attack towards our courts will we also find you responsible for stealing our young Sunlight?" She asked putting unnecessary emphasis on Anor's court name.
He returned Winter's glare with a cold glance, "We were about to ask you the same. Our young have been vanishing, it's almost as if the winds themselves are taking them." He snapped.
Winter sat gracefully in her chair letting her wings surround her. When they were pulled back she was in her usual attire. "We have been suffering the same mysterious events." She said quietly. "My own granddaughter was taken." She added feeling the need to prove her innocence, "Did you not get the summons from Autumn? She sent it to all Kingdoms, even the Unseelie King sent his adviser to me for a report on the happenings." She said coldly and regally.
Anor raised his brow and allowed his light to shine out as he too return to a more casual attire. "I assumed it was a trap sent by you in disguise as your sister." He said laughing, "We are mistaken." He admitted forcibly. His queen put her hand on his arm to comfort him, "Our son has been taken." She said quietly.
Winter understood now why Anor would lead the attack. "You thought being Unseelie that I was dark enough and low enough to steal your son for stealing my lover." She said coldly and stood sharply letting the cold out around her. Slowly the temperature dropped in the room and she could see the breaths each fae took in the room. Insulted she slammed her hands on the table and as the snow began to fall around her she turned on her heal and stormed towards the door. As she opened the door she turned the the members within the room, "I would never stoop to your level." She mumbled and slammed the door behind her.

"Oh bollocks..." Frost began to clean up, moving bodies and broken war machines. He picked up a few arrows to add to his collection.

Winter glanced towards Frost, "Nephew." She said nodding and moved to help with some of the clean up. She pulled the cold from the room into herself so the warmer fae weren't freezing and used her magic to create a patch of snow blocking the windows and opening from the attack like an igloo.
