Erin's eyes widened as Xylon disappeared with her uncle. Dou shita no? ((What happened?)) Tenshi whispered to her. Shirimasen..... ((I don't know.....)) She grasped Cassandra's hand and stood up shakily, head swimming from lack of oxygen. 'Cass....' She signed, slowly. 'We should leave......Where's Kaine??'

Cassandra didn't hesitate for a minute in helping Erin. Erin was a bit heavy, but that didn't stop her, "Kaine's finishing something up while we came to help you." she answered. She ran to HQ and got into her room. No one saw her and the camera was off as far as she knew. She laid her on the bed and went to her medicine cabinet. She got out three different bottles and bandages. She got to work and she turned to Erin, "Remind me never to get on Xylon's badside." she joked, "Or Kaine's for that matter. Now what did that man do to you?" she asked.

Erin grinned and winced. 'Well, he broke a couple of my ribs, my left forearm, and tried to choke me to death.' She rubbed her neck. 'In which he would've succeeded if you guys didn't come in....' She let Cassandra bandage her up. 'I'll be up and at it in no time. This isn't the first time something like this has happened.' She swung her legs off the bed, testing her balance.

Cassandra swung Erin's legs back onto the bed, "I know you want to see if Kaine's alright," she said. Seeing her look she shoot at her made her laugh, "I know how you look at that boy," she said, "One of the first things out of your mouth when we got to you was 'Where's Kaine?'." Cassandra chuckled, "And the way I see it, I, personally, think he feels the same." Seeing the surprised look on her face made Cassandra laugh a bit to hard, "I can't believe you never saw it. Every time he looked at you there was either a glint in his eye or a smile on his face, sometimes both. Now get some rest, we'll see both of them later." she said.

Erin blushed and looked down. 'W-well, you two were the only ones to come, of course it would be natural for me to be worried.' She protested feebly. She caved. 'Oh alright. I'll rest for a bit.' She leaned back into the bed and focused on her healing. Her mind always drifted to Cassandra's earlier words. Am I that transparent?? She murmured. Hai. Tenshi answered her rhetorical question and she scowled.

As Xylon finished his job. He searched from the underworld until he spotted Erin and Cassandra. He concentrated on getting out then soon he was pulling him self out from the dark clutches of the underworld shedding off his demon form and gaining his natural composer. He looked between the two and smiled wickedly " Even as a dragged him to his fate worse than death he still seemed to fight on " He choked out a laugh. Then looked at Erin " Are you okay" He said stepping forward. He hugged her quickly then pushed her away. Wiping a hand threw is hair " What do we do now" he asked

 Alexander walked the streets of the darkened city, heading for his night job as a store clerk. He sighed mentally and contunued walking. As he was walking by an abandoned building, he heard noises inside and felt he had to investigate it. He didn't want to be late for work, but he had to find out what had made that noise. His doll, hidden in his backpack, spoke quietly so only he could hear. "Alex, you know your gonna be late for work if you go in there." He replied back, "I doesn't matter, Terrence. I hate my job anyways, what with my tail and ears and all. They see me as a freak, but yet still let me work. Amusing, which is why I still work there. I am going to check that building out though." With that, he started heading for the building entrance.

Cassandra raised a brow, "Never knew a demon to be concerned before." she joked, "But she's fine. She should get some rest." she said. She took a small glance at Erin before asking the next question, for she was asking for her, "Do you know anything about Kaine yet?" she asked, "Is the job done?"

If her blush from earlier hadn't gone away, Erin was sure she would've looked like she had a fever. 'Y-yeah, I'm fine now. Thanks....' She perked up subtly at Cassandra's question. Then it finally hit her. They had left Kaine to finish his job alone! She swallowed and her hands tightened. It's my fault....If I had been stronger, they would'nt have had to leave him.....If he gets hurt, o-or killed....

Cassandra felt Erin getting warmer. She looked at her. She knew what she was thinking, she then had an idea, "We're fine here," she said turning back to Xylon, "Go see if your brother's still," she paused, then began again, "Alive." she finished.

Erin shook her head ferverently. 'Wouldn't it be better if we all go??' She asked. Then she worked out what Cass was trying to say and fell silent. 'Oh. Okay.....' That's why Cass came. She couldn't interfere with another demon's kill....

Cassandra shook her head and laughed, she knew what Erin was thinking, "That and you should really sleep." she told her. She turned to Xylon, "You can go now, or you could step outside." she said, "But we need to get out of the room so Erin here has some peace and quiet so she can get some rest." She stood and opened the door. She froze, she smelled something, "You know Xylon, stay here. I need to, um, do something." she said and she closed the door behind her. She walked feverously down the hallway and turned down corridors. What they were in now was an abondanded building, or look like one at least. This was one of the many headquarters that she's been transfered to. She was supposed to help traniees, but she took her spare time aand used it to relax. She was soon at the enterance of the building. She opened the door and walked out, only to meet a neko, "This is privite property," she said, "So what are you doing on it, espeically since it's late at night." She wasn't going to let him go easily. If he tried to run, she knew what to do. Erin was inside and Cassandra wasn't going to let him in, matter of fact, even near the building.

Xylon snarled a little on Cassandra's comment. For the rest of the time he just seemed to nod and look between the two. Once Cassandra left he turned to Erin " I'm going to check on Kaine, be back in an hour or two" he said his voice holding no emotion then he sliped away falling into the shadows.

"Mm..." Erin nodded. 'Becareful....' She added as he slipped away. She laid back down on the bed, but worry kept her eyes wide open. How could she be sleeping when all her friends were out fighting?? She let out a frustrated sigh. She didn't like being weak. That was the whole reason she joined this thing. So she could be stronger. She rolled over and stared at the opposite wall. Was it just her? Or was it shifting....?
