She got up and grabbed his hand. "Let's go." She looked down at the ground as she held his hand. She was used to racing him. But this was something new. She had never cared to much to just walk with someone but the race was getting alittle too pouty for her liking. She felt like she whined too much.

When October took his hand it caught him off guard at first but he quickly recovered. "Ok lets go make sure that brother of yours hasnt gotten himself into any trouble."

October felt him stiffen for a moment. "Are you alright?" she looked at him. She didn't know if she had done something wrong or what not.

"Yea im fine you just caught me off guard for a second there. Its all cool" he started walking in the direction he thought damien had gone.

"Ya know thats one that i can never figure out." He starts to slow down a little bit to give October a chance to take lead if she wants to.

She noticed he slowed his pace. She decided to keep pace with him rather than lead him. Something she also was not used to. She kept looking down at the ground as she walked. Thinking about how tree roots were evil and would one day trip her to her doom. Her mind was wandering aimlessly.

sweatdrop "Yeah I'm good. Just keeping an eye out on these damn roots. I don't want to get all tripped up again and fall." She looked down again just in case.

"Oh so you dont wanna be tripped by the roots huh?" He picked her up and started to carry her. "Well now you dont have to worry about tripping.

She wrapped her arms around his neck and held on tight. She felt like something drained from her. She had no idea why she felt drained.

"Hmmm we must be getting close to some demons. Im not affected by that anymore though so we should be safe." He had a look of worry on his face cause he wasnt sure what to do if one did start attacking them.

She kissed him on the cheek and smiled at him. "Don't be so worried. I can take care of myself if any demons begin to attack." She tried to reassure him.
