As much as Rosel wanted to kill the floozy who had interrupted their progress, seeing Noctis squirm was well worth it. She was almost disappointed he didn't drop Haveni, Rosel would have paid to see the idiot fried inside his own personal vortex of fire. But as it was, he made the 'right' decision and then, of all the unexpected things, Seir seemed to pick up the slack. She didn't pretend to miss the glint of his fangs or the restrain in his voice, but whatever he was playing at was only wasting time.
But now, she wasn't about to let the tramp's little attempt at a display of power hold them up any further.
She sent enough of a jolt into the knife to give the tramp a decent shock. Seir might have felt a bit of it, but it didn't seem to be pushed too much against his skin.
"Run back to that wreck of a village, tramp. We have more important things to do than deal with your idiocy." And because she had no desire to get on Seir's wrong side, of all people, she lowered her voice for his ears. "I trust that didn't get you too badly?"

Daskri flashed zahara a small warm smile, "Thank you for the safe wishes..your right" he probably should have stayed, it would have been wise to stay and help rebuild the town, the nice thing to do. To explore this Eisha and her creatures, the pile of rocks that she claimed to have been her golem. He had a stronger pull to follow the others though, keep pace with aeos and the lost maiden even if it was only to observe from a distance. He simply wouldnt feel right with himself if he let them all go.
"I'll be good, and you take care of those living eh zahara, mayhaps when we meet up again you can share with me whatever tales you have of this place" he watched zahara step away and couldn't hide the small pain he felt at leaving here there, the look that had been on her face. Clearly she didn't agree with his leaving. Daskri sighed before dashing off after the slowly fading group that was aeos and seir, swiftly following after the dangerous trio and the few others that continued to stalk them staying well back and away lest he bring trouble upon himself.
He simply wanted to observe didn't he? Maybe...maybe he did want to interfere with the dying and their wishes, he still felt it was insanity, and truly had to wonder why seir might wish to help. If ruin had spread this curse then wouldn't finding her, stopping her progress as haveni had suggested end the cursed's rain and ruin seirs army. Why in the heavens then would he wish to help her!

Men, they're all the same, yet different in so many ways. "Seir's capes might swallow me alive and I'm pretty sure Aeos would drop me." She said matter of factly.
Eying the semi-scuffled coat that Noctis offered, Haveni accepted it, but more so because she was rather cold. It was rather big on her, and her hands did not even come out of the sleeve holes, making her seem quite childish in it.
Her attention turned suddenly to the little squabble near them. What was that mask-wearing one trying to get from this? Maybe she had it out for Noctis, maybe she was the female version of him. She stared in curiosity, trying to read her intentions.
Haveni changed her gaze to Rosel. She felt a twinge of guilt at what'd she done to her, and part of her wanted to apologize, but she had done such in part to save what was left of the village, and its people. Surely they would suspect some alternative motive from her if she said such now, so she kept silent, and watched.

Aeos hissed in displeasure, pale eyes flashing in disapproval at the newcomer’s actions. As soon as he had seen her hand slipping into her feathers, shards of ice collected in the air; their points were as sharp as the dagger pressed up against Seir’s throat. However, the action didn’t seem too necessary, considering the delicate arc of lightning summoned from Rosel’s body. Nonetheless, in the same momentum, the ice flew at Nashara’s head, not hitting, but close enough to remain a threat.
They would not miss if the girl dared to press the dagger any further.
“Remove the weapon,” the icy male snapped. Aeos dropped easily from the air, landing in a simple crouch. His wings folded over his shoulders like a neat-feathered coat for a fraction of a second before his head cocked towards the side as he sensed another wayward intruder. He could feel his own annoyance rise, but fade easily. The icy constellation had never kept his emotions for very long, even back when he hadn’t remembered his past.
Tilting his head towards Rosel, Aeos gave a fraction of a stare. “I hope you can keep this low without too much problems,” the constellation of ice muttered quietly, before leaping into the surrounding foliage. It didn’t take him too long before he found Daskri Mal. Cocking his head, Aeos didn’t like the slightest bit surprised at the other’s appearance.
“I suppose we should continue where we left off,” the icy male mused, rotating the angle of his blades so they faced the blond. His words were delicately cruel. “I don’t wish to slice you apart, but you insist on involving yourself in battles far beyond your understanding it appears.”
It didn’t seem like he needed to answer much as the cool whoosh of Aeos’ ice flew by in the instant Rosel’s lightning lit the shining metal of the tramp’s blade. Seir felt the energy snap and threaten to brand his throat without much effect; a little pain registered, but the hiss didn’t make it past the tip of his tongue. His eyes stayed on Nashara intently, the dark danger never receding from his bright irises. He chuckled lowly; amused that her words had quickly changed from flirtation towards Noctis to threats for him.
Did he pose that large a danger?
Seir pressed his throat closer to the tip of her blade, moments after the lightning had flitted across the girl’s dagger. The black constellation merely chuckled softly, words spilling past his lips as though the audacious female hadn’t tried to threaten him. “I think you should put that away,” his fangs showed again, like his own ominous warning. His words weren’t coaxing, but darkly confident. He took a step closer, undaunted by her cautionary advice of backing off. His voice reflected a condensing tone. “You wouldn’t want to stab yourself, would you, darling?”
He smirked down at her, the slow predatory curl of lip that one showed to prey.
And, then Seir turned away. His gaze slid towards Rosel for a moment, giving on the barest of nods to answer her earlier question. He was already moving away from the Nashara before he even allowed the girl to think about it. Rosel had already spoken what he wanted to say so there was no need to rehash it further. He took only a second to gather where Aeos had gone and rose into the air, arms crossed loosely across his chest arrogantly. “We should move.”

Daskri's quick steps fell to a halt standing there and gazing up at aeos, tilting his head back and giving his former friend a quick grin "Continue where we left off? Ahh you mean before, that little skirmish..." daskri hummed appreciatively, glad to at least have been remembered, though he was sure aeos was only paying him any heed because he continued to follow along after them.
"Aeos my dear friend, I truly doubt that you wish for anything anymore. At least not of your own will, you seem very much an obedient dog trained to heed an annoying masters call." daskri chuckled politely, drawing his paintbrush in the same breath as he was ever wary of aeos, he knew the ice constellation would probably delight in his death if it would serve whatever their dark goal was.
"Honestly, I don't wish to fight with you I simply want to follow along with the pretty maiden and make sure she stays safe. I imagine she'd feel much better with someone normal about her then to be in your ill company...But if you insist on keeping me away" daskri grinned happily, stealing haveni sounded quite nice right now..maybe even getting rid of her if that was what was needed. Ruin wherever she was, was meant to stay buried and dead.

Epona held tight onto Avaron's hand as she looked around for her brother while the adults were still talking. She didn't listen and didn't care to be truthful. All that mattered to her at this precise moment was to find Sage.
The little bunny took the daring task to follow Sadako and the other cursed ones, thinking they would lead him to the famous "Ruin" the adults kept talking about. But when he saw Sadako stopped following the others, he felt this wasn't the best idea he had this week...

"So it's time to start cleaning up the city then?" The question wasn't really directed at anyone particular. "Well I can start putting out the fires. And we can start removing the debris and trash out of the city so we can rebuild with new materials. We'll also have to look out for......bodies. There still might be injured or trapped amongst the rubble." He shrugged, unsure of how many of the individuals there would be willing to help.
He noticed others still leaving to follow the others. He sighed inwardly, and wondered why he and Ro'ark had been stopped. He worried about Haveni, but perhaps here was the place for him right now. If he had to, he would take charge, and help the remaining rebuild their homes for now. "Well Ro'ark. I guess we have work to do. I wonder if those beasts plan to help?" He waved over at the army of cats. "Are you here to help us?" He wasn't sure if they understood him or not. But it couldn't hurt to try. "We need to clean up the village."

The espion regarded the words directed at them, until one of them only subtly left the group. It spoke in a growly, male voice.
"We are here for protection until the inhabitants have the strength to...fend..for themselves." the creatures began to disperse as Eisha approached, her greaves making soft metallic noises against the ground as she walked.
She surveyed the scene. The inhabitants had either fled or hidden when trouble struck them. Weak, they had left their home to be destroyed.
"Clearly this debris pile you call a village needs a leader, and it is more than a coincidence that I am here now to fulfill this dreadfully lacking position." In truth she didn't care what they thought - she would repair their village, make it as grand as any regal kingdom, and the price for that was that she would lead it, and under her leadership, they would indeed be forced to become courageous.
"Running and hiding when your village is invaded. It is a pathetic endeavor! Surely you lived to see another day, indeed. Another day wearing the shroud of guilt because you allowed it to happen, you did not stand and fight!" She slammed her lance into the ground ferociously.
"I will bring you courage and strength." she gazed at the villagers, knowing some looked at her almost the same as they had looked at the invaders from before. "Challenge me now, and I will kill you. It is a guarantee. However, after the village is repaired, I will step down from leadership if, and only IF there is one who can match my strength in a duel. You may lose a limb, or several, but I promise not to kill...which is unfortunate, as I do love a good match."
Before any could say a word to her, she stepped upon her pile of rubble. The lance disappeared and into the pile of rocks it went, animating it into a golem again, which stood up, groaning. With great booming heaves, it began to extinguish buildings which still burnt by stepping on them, crushing their splinters beneath its massive weight.

"That we do, rebuilding and digging. Theres bound to be some still about alive in need of aid...ehmn..The beasts, those are just kitty cats frei I doubt they'll be much help" ro'ark sniffed trailing lightly along with frei, watching in pure curiosity as the rainy twilif dared to speak to the rather annoyed looking bunch of creatures. Honestly he didn't see how they could be much of any help at all..didn't hurt to ask though, so long as he wasn't the one stuck asking.
He found himself smirking, the fact that they were here now to help! Of course they'd show up at the last possible moment to protect them..and where exactly had these great guardians been when they'd needed em? Probably off watching and scheming..cats..ro'ark didn't like cats. "Keeh..I'm sure its more then a coincidence your here" he muttered darkly under his breath, absentmindedly kicking at a stray rock as the guardian beasts ran off and Eisha started to speak. Listening only half heartedly to what she was saying..at least..until she mentioned the killing.
"....I know I've said it before Frei..and I'll continue to say it...their all, the bad guys and good alike it seems..all a pile of nut's, a barrel of crazy juice..a wick short of a candle..Lanterns without lights in 'em!" Ro'ark threw his hands up and growled as he watched the great golem go to work extinguishing the fires. This woman, the firey twilif was almost wondering if they would have been better off letting seir and aeos ground the village into rubble and ashes if she was the alternative to it! "Oish, so do we start at your shop first, or would you like to go body hunting. Whatever you choose I'm sticking with you"

Frei watched as the golem reanimated and began taking down the burning buildings. He hoped there was no one still inside. Eisha's final words and those of the cats were still running through his head. So they were there to protect were they? Well he wished they had been there earlier. Late to the party, they were. But it didn't matter now. Apparently Eisha was taking charge, and would not leave until someone stronger than her appeared. Truthfully, Frei didn't mind this, though he wondered who could possibly take her on. At least she knew what she was doing. And it would appear that she had a plan. Even if everyone was being deemed 'crazy'.
Frei turned to Ro'ark. "Well, I guess my shop is a good a place to start as any." He motioned for his fiery friend to follow as he lead the way. Stepping over all the village remains, he would carefully lead Ro'ark to a small, and still-burning stand. Frei sighed as he watched it burn. His dolls had been turned to ash, and the ceiling was slowly caving. He jumped nearly a foot in the air in fright, when it suddenly came crashing in on itself. A little tear ran down his cheek. "My...dolls..." He heaved a heavy sigh, and summoned water to rain down on the stand and surrounding areas.

Ro'ark nodded soundly, eager to follow the sad looking frei to his disheveled shop, more then willing to have something to do in order to take his mind off of everything else. Of course seeing the poor rain twilifs reaction to the destruction of his livelihood and precious doll shop did nothing to help ro'arks mood. "Ahhn, thats such a shame...I'm sorry its gone frei. Ah but just think, you can rebuild it right? Make more dolls, better dolls..you know I do love glass dolls myself odd as it may seem" he nodded with a slight smile, trying in some small way to comfort his sad friend.
"Maybe if..hmnn.." The place fell in and frei jumped, the fire put out on his small shop leaving nothing but smoldering blackened beams, the charred collapsed roof looking rather pathetic. "Maybe it wont be so hard hmnn, some new wood and a little time, this place will be good as new!" stalking into what was once freis shop, sifting through the remains, he smiled a bit as he found a few uncrushed dolls, a rare one that had escaped the flames though it was now sopping wet.
