((I guess its morning now....))
Stormflight woke up from her moss nest and yawned. She was up to battle training today.
Stormflight quickly neatened up her dark gray fur and padded out of the warrior den. She padded straight over to the apprentice den and padded in. Many memories flooded over her of her apprenticeship with Redtail. Very good times.
She padded to Daypaw's nest, stumbling over one or two apprentices. She prodded Daypaw. "Daypaw? Time to wake up!" she mewed cheerfully. "You're gonna want something to eat before we do battle training."

"Okay," Daypaw meowed lazily. She dragged herself out of her nest and stumbled over to the fresh-kill pile.

Orangepaw yawned and stretched as she exited the den. She padded over to the fresh-kill pile, picking up a mouse and beginning to eat.

Darkpaw woke up, still half-asleep, but he woke up because he couldn't sleep. "Geez, Stormflight, can't any apprentice get some sleep without you kicking and screaming in here?" He complained.

"You should show more respect for warriors," Daypaw teased, reaching over and prodding Darkpaw's flank.

Darkpaw let out a playful growl, and gently smacked Daypaw. "Not if they wake you up this early in the morning." He mewed.

"It's their job I suppose," Daypaw shrugged. "What about you, what are your plans for the day?"
Pebblestar emerged from her den, jumping down into camp, and spotted Darkpaw speaking with Daypaw.
"Today we'll do more battle training!" she called to him.

Darkpaw looked at Daypaw with a grin. "There, I guess you know now. Coming, Pebblestar!" He mewed. "Talk to you later." He called behind his shoulder to Daypaw.

"After we do some battle training, how would you like to hunt?" Pebblestar meowed to her apprentice, leading him through the camp entrance.

Darkpaw nodded. "Yeah, sure." He wanted to catch more prey thatn he did yesterday.

Stormflight glanced over at Daypaw. "We are going to practice your hunting crouch today," she meowed, padding out of camp. "Let's go,"

Pebblestar led the way Eagle's Perch and faced her apprentice once there.
"Now, it's important to know what you are capable of by nature. No matter how much we wish to deny it, there is FogClan blood in our veins, but also WillowClan. We as TwilightClan cats possess immense strength, but it is mostly centered within our hind-quarters. Can you tell me how that can be used to our advantage in battle?" she asked.
"Great!" Daypaw meowed, eagerly following after Stormflight.

Darkpaw hesitated for a second. "It'll be harder for other cats to knock us over in battle, and we can land harder blows with our hind legs." He mewed.

Stormflight and Daypaw padded all the way out to Dew rocks. She turned to Daypaw. "Okay, for each type pf prey, we have a different stalking techniques. This is because, let's say rabbits for example, will scent you before they hear you." She looked over to see if she was still with her.
"So you would have to keep downwind of rabbits when the wind's blowing."
She got into a hunting crouch, her belly fur brushing the floor, her paws barely touching the forest floor.
"But, for pikas, voles, moles, and mice, they are able to feel you before anything else, so you have to pick your feet up very quietly and set them down carefully.
"Would you like to try?" Stormflight mewed.

"True," Pebblestar mewed, she charged her apprentice, bowling him over and easily pinning him down.
"They make it easy to wind and confuse your opponent, should you choose to charge them."
"Sure!" Daypaw meowed eagerly.
