Wishpaw and Featherkit nodded too and padded off towards the north while the others parted to the south."May StarClan light your path!"Wishpaw called out to them and they disappeared beyond the trees.

Bloodpaw had been watching in the shadows underneath a bush and watched the many cats split into two. He knew he was supposed to go with them, but how could he go if he can't even see Featherpaw.
"North.... And.... South?" he mewed underneath his breath.
He heard that the North would be more dangerous than going South. He looked at his fur and muscles and saw that he was well built to be in the mountains.
He thought about Featherpaw and realized that she wasn't that built as he was. "Oh.... Featherpaw..... Why won't you come see me?" he meowed sadly.
He was careful to keep his voice low and to keep from others from hearing him. After those years of being a rogue helped him with staying quiet and not making a sound.

Featherpaw waited patiently for the two groups to leave. She wondered where they were going, but then decided not to follow. She had a feeling it wasn't her place. When she thought that the cats were gone, she trotted out into the open, and looked around before looking at her paws. She wanted to see Bloodpaw.

Bloodpaw and dozed off after a little while but was jolted awake when Featherpaw's scent reached him. He padded out of the bushed and stared at her, "Featherpaw..." he meowed.

Featherpaw looked up at the sound of her name. "Bloodpaw!" she meowed happily, running over to him and nuzzling him.

Featherpaw purred. "I missed you too. Some of the cats in my camp are becoming sick, and I was scared that you had gotten sick too, Bloodpaw."

Bloodpaw shook his head. "No, I left to think and then I found that no one even noticed that I had gone missing. They were more preoccupied by the prophecy...... I suppose I was to go with them but I didn't want to leave you." he meowed softly.

Featherpaw pressed her muzzle against his. "Earlier when I was back in camp... I was thinking about you, and suddenly I had this urge to come here. Almost like something was telling me you would be here. Perhaps StarClan lead me here." Featherpaw looked at Bloodpaw. "StarClan chose you for the prophecy. You have to go. I now you can do it."

Bloodpaw smiled as he licked her cheek but shook his head when she mentioned the journey. "Not without you. I.... I just can't leave you." he said sadly.
