Ure, however, did not wait for Jay to respond. "Waaa! I hear someone!!" Ure tumbled, head over heels, in some random direction, and started running again.

CRASH.

"Ai-ya!" she mumbled, rubbing her head ruefully. "Sorrysorry! I didn't mean to bump into you!" she apologized, smiling up at a boy carrying a scythe...

"The box? Did they get it ba- Hey! How do you know my...?" But the girl had already vanished. Pouting, she stood up, rubbing her wounded shoulder. She winced at the jolt of pain that caused, but was glad to see that the bleeding had indeed stopped.

"I suppose we should head back, then..." She turned to Constantine, smirking and offering her hand.

He stared at it, wary and uncertain.

Io rolled her eyes and dropped the hand, chuckling a bit. "So paranoid! I don't bite, ya know. Hey." She crouched to level her eyes with his, poking his pale nose playfully. "You ought to speak up more, you know? I bet you've got a voice as beautiful as those eyes. Now let's try this properly: Hi! I'm Io. And you...?"

He blushed slightly, staring at her in wonder. Then, hesitantly, he responded...

"...Constantine." His voice was smooth and carefully sculpted, like wrought silver in vocal form.

"There! That wasn't so hard!" Io grinned, standing and turning to head back the way they'd come. "Now come on, let's see what the others have been up to."

The boy paused, but then, nodding to himself, followed.

((XD Okay, let's pretend that last post o' mine comes before yours, Kiarna. I really shoulda posted it last night, but by the time I got there I was too tired to add two and two. x.o; ))

Some hyperactive ball of fur crashing into him was most unexpected. Constantine was bowled entirely over, his hood knocked back from his head, staring wide-eyed at the bunny girl. His expression was quite startled... perhaps even a bit fearful?

He froze. What should he do? Was she going to yell at him now?

He was, of course, too quietly panicked to notice that she was actually apologizing.

"Aiyah..." Io murmured, sweatdropping at the scene. "Reaper boys and bunny girls; what's next? Gender-challenged princes?"

((-chokes on laughter at Io's last comment~nyu XD;; ))

"Sorrysorrysorry! S'all m' fault!" Ure arranged herself into kneeling-sitting position, bowing repeatedly. "Sorrysorrysorry!"

Standing up, Ure threw a few cartwheels around, as if to test if she was all fine. Finally, she held out a hand toward the scythe-carrying boy. "I'm Ure. You?"

((I couldn't resist. biggrin ;;; ))

Being faced with friendliness - in overbearing amounts, he might add - so many times in one day was strange to Constantine. Hesitantly, he reached his hand out, taking hers timidly.

"I'm... Constantine." He studied her curiously, a bit confused. A rabbit-person? He'd never seen anyone like that before...

"Awwww, he's learning already!" Io gushed. "I'm so proud!" Suddenly remembering the bit of fur that Kiarna had received, Io tilted her head curiously towards said person. "Is she yours, Kiarna? I'm beginning to see a pattern here..."

Constantine, meanwhile, turned a bit red and pulled his hood over his head again, turning away. Overbearing indeed...

Kiarna, who was puffing quite a bit in the effort to catch up with the energetic Ure, glanced, confused, at Io. "What do you mean, 'is she mine'~nyu? I don't know - " Comprehension dawned on her. "Ohhh~nyu...."

Shaking Constantine's hand enthusiastically, Ure beamed back at him. "Constantine? That's a funny name," she remarked boldly. "Whatsit mean? Does it mean anything? Ne? Ne?"

Ure poked Kiarna. "Ne, ne, what'dya mean by that? Ne? And why d'ya always say nyu after everything? Eh?"

She switched her attention back to Constantine. "Hey, why do you have a giant scythe thing? It looks really cool! I wish I had an awesome weapon-thing like that!"

"Aheheh. Ki? Don't give her sugar," Io suggested, chuckling at Ure's boundless enthusiasm for - well, everything.

"...It means 'unchanging...'" Constantine murmured, shrinking away from her a bit and pulling his scythe closer to him. He was rather possessive of the weapon, and he gave her a guarded stare now, afraid she might try to take it.

Kiarna gave a shaky laugh. "I'll be sure not to." She smiled nervously at Constantine. "So, I suppose your guardian is Io, then?"

"Unchanging, ne? Mine S'supposed to mean 'Jade Moon' in Chinese - but it's spelled slightly wrong," Ure said sheepishly. "Unchanging. I guess that makes sense! Constantine, unchanging..." She didn't seem to notice Constantine's unease when she mentioned his scythe, however. Instead she peered closer at it. "Although I doubt I'd b'able to even hold it an inch off the ground for five seconds. No, I need something light. And something that I can use without having to know any special info," Ure continued, laughing. "Yup, if someone gave me a scythe I'd probably decapitate everyone in the first second accidentally..."

Jumping over Constantine in a somersault, then backflipping around to his front again, she grinned. "What do you use that big ol' thing for, 'nyways?"

(*cracks up at Io's OOC comment and Ure in general* I love her - though the kids might be terrified.)

Rune blinked and muttered a curse, cheeks going pink as she realized she'd scared Jayoku. Damnit, why did she always use her magic without thinking like that? And Kiarna - wait, who on earth was the rabbit child? A Fable? She must be, she had the same color fur as the stuff Kiarna had. And then the young woman - and the boy with the scythe -

The small girl clinging to her leg looked up after Ure with an awed expression. Entranced, she released her mother and hurried over to the rabbit girl and Constantine. "You're big and funny." She giggled, her voice soft, then put a hand to her mouth as though afraid she might get in trouble. Her golden eyes danced. "Are you a Fable like my Morgan?"

((-should wait, but I'm not going to because I'm a -CENSORED!!1!11!- biggrin ))

Ure stared down at the girl. Then she smiled. (As usual.) "Me? I'm funny? How'm I funny?" She hopped up and down, then stopped, pondering the girl's next comment. "I dunno. Am I?" she said cheerfully, beginning another series of cartwheels round and round.

Kiarna sighed exasperately, her own hyper nature seeming dissolved in the presence of the even more hyperactive Ure. "Yes~nyu, Ure~nyu. You're a Fable~nyu."

"What she said," Ure said grinning, stopping upside down for a quick nanosecond to point at Kiarna.

Jayoku took a breather behind the tree, the rabbit girl had bounded away before she could reply and thus she felt somewhat at peace. She knew she couldn't be afriad all her life, she knew enough about magic seh wasn't sure why it seemed to terrify her when it was actually used. Thoguh she knew it wasn't really the magic that had caused her to flee, there were just too many things going on at once and it caused her to feel overwhelmed. Stroking the box with her thumb, she smeared the thin blood trail around the edges of the box. Taking a deep breath she stood up and on unsteady feet came out from behidn the tree and moved towards Io, Rune and Kiarna. There were a great number of people around. She felt her knee's weaken but she swallowed the fear in her throat and continued forward. She felt responsible for getting Fable out safely.

The little girl giggled, still looking rather unsure but slightly more at ease. "You are funny, 'cause you bounce 'round even more than my brothers and sisters." Her sweet voice had a slight accent, almost British, though slightly more lilting. She grinned at Ure, then at Kiarna. "Is that your mama? I'm Valentine."

Meanwhile, a small presence attached itself to Jayoku's side - not necessarily touching, more of a calming influence than anything. The smaller of the two boys - the one who looked like Valentine - gazed solemnly up at the young woman and the box with his large golden eyes. "There's lots of people here." He said softly, with the same accent. "It's kinda scary."

Jayoku looked down to see the young boy cling to her side, gazing into his golden eyes she felt the muscles in her body relax, she took a deep breath and nodded her head at his comment. She needed to be brave for the young boy. Shifting the position of the box in her hand she then offered her free hand to the boy. "There..sure is." she replied, "but...i am sure we can face them together." she gave a small wavering smile as she looked down at him.

The little boy nodded, gripping Jayoku's hand, then offered her a shy, sweet smile in return. "I'm Alexander." He said. Touching the needle in the cuff of her sleeve, he added, "Is that a Fable kid? Mama said she was gonna find out how to get Morgan back."

Rune glanced at her two young children and smiled in relief. Alex had, predictably, found the person the most like him and attached; he could make anyone feel better, but he was very scared of large crowds and lots of upheaval. And thank the heavens, Ure had distracted Valentine long enough for the little one to get over her own fear. She'd only meant to bring Arthur, the older boy who now stood beside her and watched everything so carefully. He rarely let both his siblings out of his sight for long, unless he knew for a fact they were with his new family. With Morgan not yet returned, he'd stepped up to be their protector.

Of course, she'd summoned him and the box for other reasons. "Hey, Jay, can you bring the box over here?" She asked, pointing toward the box she'd summoned from her home. "Set them next to each other."

Jay smiled at Alexander when he asked about the needle and thread on her jacket sleeve. "Um...i suppose so." The news that the needle was going to bring a child to her made her have another worry. She had never heard the name Morgan before but she was sure it had to be related to the fables that were popping up. When Rune spoke she came to attention and thus moved forward and hesitantly placed the box down beside the other one. Her hand still clasped Alexanders tightly, her nervousness still apparant.

"Wh..what are you going to do Rune?" she asked, hoping ti wasn't going to be anything too fancy.
