((Forgot about that))
"Ah yes" reminded of when they first met. Though it was only for a moment and Ephraim didn't quite catch his name really. "I remember now, the one I met by the tree" somehow it was coming clear. That was all their encounter all around. Not much of an interaction if one thought about it..then again..what can one do on the battlefield? He also left in a hurry to catch Sophia before she disappeared at the wedding. He really didn't want to be rude since Ephraim really wanted to find Sophia..ah, might as well kill the time. "I..guess..I'm doing well..How about you?"

I feel like I can face the day... ...and I can forgive. ♦ ◄ALIHI► ♦ ————————————
Alihi nodded slightly, a ghost of a smile on her face. "Yeah... I now live near the lake. You know where I'm talking about?" She laughed nervously. "Wait, of course you do! Anyways... I wanted to live closer to my brother." She raised her hand and waved it in the general direction where he was, standing by the wall, observing his surroundings quietly. "I don't spend enough time with him..." She found her voice getting softer and softer. The uneasy relationship she had with her brother was her fault. She was the older sibling, if only by a few minutes... Responsibility rested on her shoulders.
The tactician shook the thoughts off. She'd deal with that later. Right now, she was heading to meet someone that Rath wanted her to meet. The only thing she should have been doing was preparing herself for whoever the "someone" was. Yet... the other person that Rath mentioned, the one that stopped coming to Eyris after she moved, held her focus for a moment. "Wait... "another lad"? Who do you mean?" She asked curiously, though having some sort of an idea of who he was referring to.

Charice couldn't quite relate to Leon's predicament, never really having had to train anyone in flying combat. Fliers were more common in the desert region of Sentria. Few came out this way, and fewer actually stayed in Learania. But she could see how training new recruits with dreams of glory might be a pain in the neck, and grimaced in sympathy.
...Which then turned to a startled frown as Annis suddenly appeared, tussling Leon's hair, sounding surprisingly friendly. And she couldn't help but add the revealing dress into the picture, her eyes narrowing. Sheesh, the first time I talk to a man casually in days, and some upstart has to run over and--
But then the raven's smile warmed up, and seemed more genuine. This made Charice relax a little. Okay, she's not being a hussy. ...I feel a bit guilty now. A sheepish smile crept onto her face. "And I'm Charice of the Eyris Watch", she added, confirming Leon's statement.

I've spent some time with the Watch, I think I've heard your name a few times, but never actually met you. I think they're more Captain Dan's men, anyway, which might explain that." Annis adjusted the clasp to the Tervingi's Crest idly, then stepped away from Leon, so as to not be using him as an armrest.
"I like the entire get-up, by the way. Classy." Annis looked at her skirts reproachfully. "I'm... ah, obligated to wear this crap. Large would have my head in a bucket otherwise."
She paused, then added, "If he asks you for a wager, deny him. Don't listen to anything he says. Say no."
Annis paused again, then smiled; it was a slow, sly smile, like one of a hunting cat. "It would have been really hilarious to see him in this, though... so would've been worth the risk if I'd won. Bet he cheated."
She flicked her hair off of her face. Going on tangents, not good. "So, I'm assuming things are going peacefully if you're here? Or are you stationed on guard and get to enjoy the festivities in the meantime?" Annis asked, genuine curiosity on her face. Ninja_Maiden Aruna was startled when she heard someone say “boo” behind her. The crimson-haired nagini quickly spun around to see who it was. Instantly she recognized the large, decorated reptile. “Ganon,” she said with glee. “I hope you weren’t waiting very long. I did not mean to take much time in getting prepared. I just wanted to lovely for you.” Aruna winked.
“Speaking of looking extravagant,” she started as the half snake woman’s gaze fixed on his rainbow-colored feathered cloak. “You’re quite handsome in those garbs this evening.” Ganon
The snake laughed, turning once slowly and letting the feathered cloak sweep around him slowly. "You like it? I was afraid it would be too gaudy, but then I figured if people are doing... well, I noticed a lot of people around the castle hauling out their old clothes from their own worlds, and all over town. So, you know. The mnoh-ha't`chk feather-cloak seemed appropriate. Sure it's not too much?" He turned a bit, arching his long neck around to look at his own back. "Hm. No, looks okay." He stretched again, then grinned as a faster tune struck up.
"So," he said. "Shall we show these people how snakes can dance?"

Rath listened to her, but did not make acknowledgment that he heard her, as it would have been polite to have done. But, he didn't see himself as being impolite. After she had finished, he glanced over at her, and paused a moment, before answering what she had asked him. "...Nobody. I was mistaken." He then quickened his pace slightly and turned to the side, having arrived at the crew table.
In the center of the table sat Songhua, surrounded by the rest of the crew who were actually at the table. Rath bowed his head slightly to Songhua, and rose his hand out toward Alihi. "Chieftain. Allow me to introduce one of Learania's most gifted tacticians. Her guidance has proved most useful in times past. Alihi, this is Chieftain Songhua, of Adliana. His attempts at reuniting our two countries have brought forth great successes. ...I thought you two should meet." He brought his hand down, and took a step back.

Life at the party was quite fair, minus the small mishaps. While everyone was mingled with the others, the paladin had accompanied with the crew and Chieftain. Chieftain Songhua was giving various stories about his land and people to the crew. She listened intentionally. Who would have thought that learning other people's culture can be influential?
When the paladin noticed that she had a craved for fruits, she excused herself to get some. Isadora got up and headed to the bouquet table. She watched the people. It seemed that everyone was enjoying him or herself. If only she had someone she could enjoy with.
Isadora picked up the plate and went to the fruit section. The paladin looked around the party again as her hand roamed over the fruits. She saw familiar faces from one spot to another. Others she had not recognized. Looked like Chieftain Songhua was not the only new face in the party.
Suddenly, Isadora felt something odd. It felt small and fuzzy. It couldn't be a peach. Peaches weren't that fuzzy.
The paladin lifted up and looked. In her hand was a small, white fuzz... And it was moving!
Isadora let out a shriek as she accidentally threw the fuzz away from her. What was that she grabbed? She thought for sure that Tibarn had gathered fresh food for the party. Isadora prayed that Ayra hadn't managed to sneak into the kitchen and did something with the food Tibarn had worked so hard.
((By throw, think of it as a toss. Like how woman let go when they're holding something slimy, scary, or scaly, but a little more toss. This means Bozo should be landed somewhere on the food table.))

Songhua was enjoying himself thoroughly! He was able to tell the greatest of stories to his company, and delight in theirs as well. The food was magnificent, too! He would give Tibarn the utmost compliments later. And to think, he hadn't even gotten to the main courses yet! That was ok, he had quite the appetite. It was obvious that his appetite was a perfect match for his personality, even.
As the vice captain came up and called his attention, Songhua placed his morsel back upon his plate, and looked up. In front of him stood a young looking girl with a somewhat sheepish expression, it seemed. Nevertheless, what Rath said about her impressed him greatly. He looked upon her as another new friend.
As soon as introductions were done, Songhua practically leaped up from his seat, and held out his hand to greet her properly. "My goodness, Miss Alihi! What a pleasure to meet another of Learania's finest people! Hwah ha!" When the girl took his hand, he shook it firmly, then pulled her closer and gave her a welcoming hug over the table, causing it to be bumped. Of course, he released her, before anything spilled, thankfully. "And a tactician no less! I am ashamed to never have met one, until now. The plains do not have such people within them. Our tactics are quite different from other countries. Ah.... A pleasure it is, truly, Hhaw ha ha! Come, you must try some of this dish! It is truly a delight." He boasted, beamingly, with a big smile.

I feel like I can face the day... ...and I can forgive. ♦ ◄ALIHI► ♦ ————————————
Alihi frowned slightly but accepted Rath's answer to her question. She didn't want to probe, seeing that the information wasn't crucial to know. It would have been nice to know exactly who Rath was talking about, but she had a fairly good guess at who it was regardless.
Alihi smiled brightly, her heart pounding rapidly with nervousness. She was actually meeting a Chieftain, one that united two countries?! Sure, she may have done things that made her gain fame for her tactical skills, but nothing like that! Helping save a land was one thing, but reuniting lands was completely different. Oh geez. Her head was spinning, though she wasn't quite sure why. Nerves, she told herself, but she shouldn't have been that nervous. It wasn't like she hadn't met people in power before. In fact, she served them.
She was comparing the accomplishments, though, which was making her feel insignificant, a feeling she wasn't quite familiar with.
That feeling, though, faded very quickly, when she shook his hand and then was practically pulled into a hug by Songhua. It was a real ice-breaker, so to speak. Her smile turned much more natural and she nodded to Songhua. "It's a pleasure to meet you as well, Chieftain." Alihi's eyes focused on the dish that Songhua mentioned. Grabbing a plate off the table, hoping that whoever sat there wouldn't mind their lack of a plate, she took some of the food and ate it. Her eyes widened slightly. "It is good!" The tactician said aloud, a grin evident on her face.

"Awww, man!" rang the distressed voice of boy, in one of the many castle hallways. "I promised her I'd be back in time for the harvest celebration! Dang it, dang it, dang it!"
But, alas, he was late. I'm sure it wouldn't be surprising, but still, it always frustrated him, when he didn't live up to his promises. The truth of the matter, was that the job he got down in the southern area of Learania was... awkward, to say the least. He got called to protect a family who was being robbed and hassled by a mystery person. Seems like an easy enough job, right? Protect the family, and catch the bad guy, when he shows up? Uh.. NO. Turns out, the culprit was this old lady who was going senile and thought the family had stolen her house, so she was trying to get them out. The kid ended up getting beaten down by her, too! Really though.. she wasn't a bad guy, he couldn't just beat up an old lady. In any case, she eventually ran out of energy and passed out on top of him. When she woke up, her daughter had come to explain everything to her, which she did, and then took her home to rest. At least the job paid well. Oh, wait, no it didn't. The old lady had stolen the fee that was promised to him! In the end, the family promised to deliver the fee to him, once they got their things back, so at least he would get it eventually.
When he got back to Alihi's house, he found it empty. Well, not completely empty. Alihi had been kind enough to set up an outfit for him to wear to the party, since it was formal wear. Abel twitched at the clothing, but after reading the thoughtful and.. slightly menacing note that Alihi left, he quickly put them on, and left for Eyris. Oh, yeah, about Eyris... turns out... people hadn't yet forgotten about him at Easter. After about half an hour of being chased by a group of drunkards, he was pulled by his breeches into an alleyway by Ghis and given shelter inside the Watch house. A good guy, that Ghis, though Abel thought he smelled of alcohol himself. From the Watch house, he took a back road to the castle, were he then proceeded in getting lost. So, suffice it to say, he had a truly great past couple of days.
After about ten minutes of wandering around, asking a faceless soldier who wouldn't even answer him, and accidentally walking into the girls room, he finally found the ballroom. "Oh my goodness, FINALLY!" He rejoiced, as he trotted in. He messed with his garments a little, as they were the most annoying things ever. He didn't understand why he had to wear these fancy clothes here, his normal clothes were may more comfortable. Something about international relations, blah blah blaaaah. Whatever it was, he didn't like it.
"Let's see now... wheeeere is.....?" He asked himself, looking and wandering around, to see if he could find Alihi. "Hey- no, that's not... Oh, is- ..No, that's not her either..." He gave a deep sigh, almost on the verge of just giving up. "Come on, she's gotta be around here some-wh-eeEEERRE~!" Suddenly, he found himself hitting something and falling over on top of whatever it was. "Ugh... aw man. What did I...?" He asked aloud. Feeling around, something wasn't right. This didn't feel like just some thing he hit. Pulling himself up to his knees, he looked down to see what he was laying on. What he discovered was he was awkwardly face to face with a man wearing a.. purple robe? Aw maaaaan...

Perhaps Rath should have warned Alihi about the Chieftain's.. welcoming habits. Well, it didn't seem to bother her, so no harm done. In fact, perhaps his warm, hands-on attitude made it easier for her to feel at ease. If he were the one that Alihi was being introduced to for the first time like this, would she seem as calm? This would require further looking into at a later time. Social interactions always proved to be a learning experience, it seemed.
Following Songhua's lead, Rath plucked some samples from an appetizer tray and placed them onto his plate. In all honesty, Rath hadn't eaten much, in preparation for this day, so even though he wasn't showing it, he was outrageously hungry. Food this good was just what he needed.
Just then, he saw an unrecognized abrupt movement across the floor, out of the corner of his eye, along with what may have been a yell. He looked over slightly, in an attempt to assess what was the matter. If somebody was causing trouble, they would find themselves outside, possibly with an arrow in their bottom. It depended if the other crew would let him do that or not. In any case, he wouldn't allow this day to be ruined.
As he continued to look, he narrowed his eyes some, to try to make out the figures better. From what he could tell, there was what looked like a boy in green, on top of another boy, who had an indigo robe. Upon further inspection of the scene, Rath shut his eyes, put his hand to his forehead, as is calming a headache, and sighed. He knew just exactly who the boy in green was. He grumbled under his breath. "Abel....!"

Lance looked at Ed's face as he spoke, watching her absorb what he had just said. Her expressions shifted slightly with each moment. He could only conclude it was because she was contemplating all that he said, maybe adding a thought of her own into it. As she brought up that it couldn't be a costume, Ganon joined the naga, and the two of them started conversing. "Perhaps you're right. And speaking of which, did you ever meet Ganon? That's the lizardman that just walked up to her. Without going into details, Ganon is an actual lizardman. People come in all shapes and colors, and some even come scaly. It wouldn't surprise me if the two of them became friends because they're the closest they have to their own here in Learania. It's quite charming, isn't it? That they can look so different, yet they seem so...human."
Lance didn't really comprehend why he brought up the last statement. It kind of flew out of his mouth on its own. He guessed it had to do with the underlying mentality that Lance himself was quite different from others. Loneliness? Lance snickered at himself mentally. He had gone through many clichées the past month while he was in the mountains, no way was he going to add another to his repetoire. Speaking of which...he would've guessed that Annis would be here, but he hadn't seen her yet. True, his attention had been on the food, but that didn't explain why he hadn't seen her at all yet. He shrugged to himself. Maybe he was just not observant enough.

Sophia walked a few short feet away over to a table, as Blossom got changed into the dress. On the table lay the various instruments needed for tailoring cloth. There was a hand full of scissors, all of varying sizes, as well as dozens of spools of thread, each of a different color. Numerous needles, both small and large, were lined up in a neat, straight row on a black strip of cloth. Remembering the color of the dress, she picked out the spool of thread that matched the red of the dress as well as a pin cushion full of various colored pins. Next a tiny needle was selected and threaded with the red thread.
Hearing Blossom emerge from behind the screen, Sophia turned on her heel to face the brunette. Her lavender eyes traveled the length of Blossom’s body, carefully examining the dress that had been chosen for her. “How is it… in the waist?” Sophia asked, unable to tell if it needed to be stitched up a bit to make it tighter; even if it was fairly form fitting without any adjustments. Her head bobbed up and down slowly as she fiddled with the pin cushion in her hand. The dress wouldn’t need to be cut to make it the desired length. A few folds, some small delicate stitches later, and it would be good to go.
Closing the distance between the two, Sophia kneeled down in front of Blossom and placed both the thread and the pin cushion on the floor next to her. “Try not to move too much while I stitch this… I wouldn’t want to poke you…” Sophia said before taking a few pins with one hand, while the other grasped the hem of the dress. Twice she folded the fabric, using pins to hold it in place temporarily. Once folded up, Sophia retrieved the needle and thread and began to carefully stitch the fabric in place. A knot and a snap later and the sewing had been completed.
“That should be all…” the dragon girl said as she removed the pins that had been used to hold the fabric in place before placing them back in the pin cushion. She stood up slowly, after picking up both cushion and thread, to better examine her handy work. The dress really was a good fit, Tibarn had made a good suggestion, and thus all the better for Blossom. “Everything feel alright?”((Sorry it took so long, Amelia. xD; ))

Charice took Annis' hand and shook with a firm grip, listening to Annis' words. "Dan's men? I don't see them very often, truth be told. I guess the two Captains haven't let go of their old rivalry yet.
"I've known Dan's higher-up men to gamble, at least," she added, a hand on her chin suggesting she was giving them some thought, "But I didn't know he made those kinds of wagers..."
But then she pictured smallfry Large in a dress of that size.
"I-it'd probably-hehe-make him look like a-a mound of laund--hahahahaha!" Yes, that dress would COVER him! It'd be like seeing some really fancy cheesy ghost costume little kids wore at Halloween! She could just see him poking out eyeholes through the chest and just DEATH GLARING everyone he saw...
She recovered from laughter in time to catch Annis' last words. "Haha-aha-aaaaaah... ohhh, maybe you didn't mean the same dress, but it made me laugh... anyway, I'm actually still stationed here on guard," she added, "but I think it's mostly for display since FEF's crew is about. Keeping up a good image and all that!"
Earlier, she'd caught Leon's sudden drop at the mention of "only flier". She hadn't quite figured it out then and there, but like memory is at times wont to do, the line from her dream came back to her:
"At least I had the decency to die from a REAL weapon! You fail."
...Or something like that. Yes... that's who Leon had referred to. Katherine wasn't really a flier in her own right--rather, she was Charice's personal "Mage Gunner", not to mention Javert's younger sister. They'd been (or at least FELT) younger then, greener, inexperienced, not quite ready to handle hordes of the Castle Guard swarming at them...
But before she could delve much further and get more depressed than she was already feeling, Charice snapped out of her reverie. "I'm sorry. I was just thinking about something... what was the wager with Large, anyway? I've never heard him making a bet like that before..." she asked, looking quizzically at Annis.
