Rose ran over and put her hand on Charles shoulder, "It appears the grandmother, stored his vampire powers in this amulet, so that when he was back with his family, he would be restored to his original form. He was human, now he is one of us." She watched as he transformed, and when he had finished, she asked, "Are you alright son? Do you need to feed? I am well stocked." She slit her wrist, and a crimson line appeared as blood began to flow, "If you wish you may drink my blood, it's near pure, I don't offer to just anyone. Charles, bring my mages, I want them to examine this amulet, if she can store vampirism in it and make us appear human, that would be a wonderful way for us to blend, much better than glamouring, less taxing on our magick makers."

She gave him her wrist, and let him drink till she made him stop. "That will present a problem, you are 17? We are not to turn one so young, if the Moretti find out we may be called before the tribunal, not we...me. They won't believe I didn't turn you. The punishment for turning children is severe." She looked up at Charles. "We must keep his age a secret, as far as anyone is concerned he is 21, he just looks young, understood?" She sat down on the couch. Just then the mages knocked on her door. "Enter." she said wearily. "Milady, you sent for us." The mage said timidly as he bowed. "Yes, check this amulet out, it holds a secret, it can store all the atributes of vampirism till the vampire is back with his coven. Find out how it works, try to duplicate it. It would be very useful to us. Do not break it or harm it in any way, or it's your life, understood?" They nodded and carefully took the amulet to the labs below.

"You obviously have forgotten what it is to be a turned vampire. Because I turned you, in their eyes you have no will of your own. You would lie, cheat, steal and kill for me. You see why they would not believe you? Some break free of their makers by moving very far away. But the maker always knows where they are at, influence weakens with time, and space. Except if you have been turned by a pure blood ancient, which I am. Charles, I'm not sure how to treat him, do you think he will be like a brand new vampire? If that is true, he cannot stay on the ancient wing, we have to many differnt races, and temptations for a newbie on our wing."

Rose could feel the sun rising. "My my it's gotten late, Ithink I will retire gentlemen. Hopefully tommrow we will have some answers." Rose hugged both her sons, and left the room to go to her own.

Rose entered her room. Her handmaiden had her sarcophagus open and freshly linened with satin. "I want a bath first, Amanda, and bring me a freshie for I want a small snack before I slumber." Amanda was her handmaiden for many years, she loves her mistress, and would do anything for her. She went to the freshie wing, and walked among the many feeding volunteers that got free room, food, and anything else they wanted just for volunteering that the vampires feed off them. They were confident they wouldn't be killed because Mistress Rose had assured them. So far she was one vampire that kept her word. They all knew of the new vampires who were given, convicts to feed off of, they sometimes died. She went up to one of the young men. "Mistress Rose requires a snack, are you willing to provide her with one?" He was in his 20's and knew that possibly more than just feeding would happen. He smiled, "Anything for mistress Rose, Miss Amanda, lead the way." When he entered the room, she was already in the bath. "Ahhh Antonio I was hoping it would be you. Come join me, you will not spend the night, but I assure you, I will make it worth your while." When he did as she instructed, he definately left the room feeling she had fulfilled her side of the bargain. Amanda helped her dress, and saw her safely to her bed, and lowered the lid, Guards were esconsed outside her door, as she drifted into her deathlike sleep.

 Rose slept all day, and just after sunset, she got up, fed, and dressed for work. "Think I will check on Charles and Damien, hopefully they got along ok." She saw only Damien, "hmmm wonder what Charles is up to." She went down the hall into the library. Pulling many books out she began to read about the many spells etc. at her disposal.

Damien sleeps awhile an then gets hungry careful to get too carried away he finds one of the servants and asks if they had a human he could feed off of just a snack.A comes in as a volunteer he makes a small cut on the human of 22 an starts to feed he notices he could feed way more but a sense of self-control came to him an he said thank you that will be all then he falls back asleep
