Hello all!
So, several of you have probably seen me around the guild already. Why? Well...I wasn't invited, but found the Guild looking for tektek guilds. The one I'm currently in is public, so anyone can post what ever they want...and the Moderators are NEVER on and NEVER do their job. So I was lookin' for a change and found this! Since it is a private Guild, I guess you could say I've been testing it out, just trying to see if I liked it, before I officially introduced myself (that, and I just now noticed this thread, lol.)
My profile has more info than I'm posting here, so feel free to check that out.
(EDIT: Well, maybe not since I wound up writing you guys a novel. Sorry about that.)
My geeky thing is that I am a total nerd. I still watch GOOD cartoons (Teen Titans, Danny Phantom, etc) and I've more recently begun a slight anime obsession (Ghost Hunt and Romeo x Juliet are my FAVORITES). I'm also in to Final Fantasy - I've seen VII-X-2, excluding DOC and CC PLUS Dissidia. I've played all three PS2 Kingdom Hearts (I, II, and Re:COM). I am anxiously awaiting the release of Birth by Sleep and getting 358/2 days (which was apparently released in October).
...I hate Twilight.
I love making cosplaying tekteks because...well, I have nothing better to do sometimes. I also write fanfiction and used to be into yaoi (don't judge me) but not nearly as much anymore. I've written FFVII, Teen Titans, Naruto (I swear I'm not a Narutard...anymore) and Danny Phantom story (FFVII being yaoi...don't judge me - Squarenix did to themselves)/
Music-wise, I listen to just about anything except most country, and rap and R&B...my favorite(s) coming from game/movie soundtracks, or showtunes. On another random note, I can be a Nazi when it comes to spelling and grammar. I HATE chatspeak and usually make really bitchy comments to people that "talk liek dis wen dey is postin sumthin n da forums - donat 2 meh!" (and mentally smack them with a dictionary). I'm the sucker that's always crying at the end of EVERYTHING. For instance, I've seen UP four times and I STILL cry within the first seven minutes. It's actually slightly pathetic.
IRL, my name is Becca, but I prefer to just be called Niobe. I live in NC, USA and I am an 18 year old college freshman planning to major in Theatre with a Education License for K-12 OR a major in Social Work with a minor in Theatre. Declared as a Theatre major, but only tentatively so it could change. I've been on Gaia since November 07. I wouldn't call my self fashionable in real life, but I do have tastes. On Gaia, I usually plan and match my avatars and rarely do something without tekteking it first.
...And I'm going to stop writing my life story now. Sorry...I pretty much wrote a novel there.

Definitely. I love it. The contests are actually a challenge rather than just "tektek me 4 5k i give u 5k if u mak me a avi dat is less dan 100k" - I actually have to put forth effort for entries. Not to mention everyone I've talked to so far is fabulously nice! I'm stickin' around for a while wink

Well, I'm a girl. I like to draw cartoons. I play the cello. I'm very bad at technology. I love read (I'm a really big nerd xD). And I love to act! My favorite is acting Shakespeare - I told you I was a nerd! About Gaia fashion... I always like to make a matching avatar, and I often submit my avis into the arenas. I never will buy Gaia cash, so I'm not very rich, but I make do with what I have and live without expensive items. My avi changes all the time.
That's about all that I can think of for now!
