"Hey... THat's a great idea! Yeah!" Kaien smiled at Victoria and grabbed a large dog from the runner. "Thankee very much!" Kaien beamed at the runner and stepped out from under the awning. He reached up and, using one hand, swung his entire body and the dog up and over the edge of the stand. He landed smoothly on his feet and straightened up, bowing and recieving another applause from the rapidly growing crowd. He fucshia eyes gleamed with pride as he cupped a hand around his mouth. "Hey, my beautiful people!" He said, flashing his handsome smile and placing the dog down. "How's everyone on this lovely day??" He called and put the hand up to his ear. The audience responded with a jumble of different answers. "That's GREAT!!" He shouted. "Alright, listen; I have--LISTEN, people!! ...Great, thanks! Okay, um... I have a--ONE stuffed dog up here!! So... Who wants it???" He knelt and leaned over the edge of the stand, peering at the screaming crowd. His eyes danced over the numerous faces that stood before him, all raising their hands. At last, he found his target. A small boy perched on his father's shoulders, his short arms reaching for Kaien and his dog. Kaien reached out his arm and pointed to the boy. The screaming fans around him faltered sadly, reclusing back. However, the father and son walked forward. Using extreme balance, Kaien leaned forward, dog in hand, and placed it in the eager kid's hands. Kaien, the boy, and the boy's father exchanged a quick glance before the kid and his father thanked him and hurried away, the rest of the crowd starting to disperse. Still smiling ear to ear, Kaien straightened up. "Well, until next time, folks!!" He called. The crowd abruptly stopped and turned around, gave him another cheer, and continued on their way. Kaien's smile wavered slowly. The feeling from so soon before... It was unusual to him. His fucshia eyes closed paritally as he looked ahead, crouching on the edge of the stand. He ignored the indignant stand owner and thought about the previous feeling, trying to figure it out, trying to find an instance where he could relate it, racking his brain to remember.
