I've seen Nostalgia's review but I already thought that way before seeing it.
I mean in the new movie you can see how Wonka sets up things to test all of the kids. Chocolate for the glutton, gum for the big chewer even though he says it's gross, something the brat would eventually want, and TV for the techno-savvy know it all kid, but where was the test for Charlie? Charlie did nothing but the right thing throughout that movie. ...and I just love that creepy tunnel, I loved it as a kid.
Top 10 scariest moments? Link me! And dammit now I have that Carealot song stuck in my head! "Care-a-lot! We care a lot! (clap-clap clap-clap) Care-a-lot! We care a lot! (clap-clap clap-clap)". My best friend had that as his ring tone once.

Charlie's test was set up from the beginning. Charlie always did whatever he could to help his family, so Wonka sent his assistant to play as "Slugsworth" (I think that's what his name was) and promise to make him rich for stealing that candy. When Charlie gives back the everlasting gobstopper, he's passed the test.

No no not that one. The new Charlie. The old Charlie I loved he actually looked like he had a hard life.

Well he looks like his life style has taken a toll on him. The new one was just happy and fine with everything. "My family makes me happy." Sorry at that age I was way more selfish.
Ugh I just had a horrible thought. If Burton redoes Return to Oz I'm putting my foot up someone's a**. Well besides that can anyone name me a few good games that came out as a tie-in towards a movie?

King Kong. The new one.
Or do you mean related to a movie, but not the actual story? >.>

Either. I've rarely seen a decent videogame that's a tie in to a movie. Or vice versa. Not saying that there aren't just saying I haven't seen that many.

Starwars has LOTS of them
Obi-wan KotOR KotOR2(not that great) Battlefront Battlefront2 rouge Squadron (was great, for Nintendo 64) there was also this one for 64 where you play as like.. Han Solo I guess, and you're running around with a pistol. It gets REALLY fun when you get the jetpack.
LOVED that game. Especially the train level, space battle, and one other... the hoth level wasn't all that great.
Hoth level was, you're on hoth during the attack, and you're heading to the Falcon to escape, but once you see it, it takes off leaving you to find your way off alone.
There was also one Spiderman game I loved.
there were 4 playthroughs, one as Spiderman, then as black spiderman, then as the amazing spiderman or whatever it is... when he has the cape.
then there's this last one I don't quite remember.
I played through to the last one, but I didn't know how to save, so I couldn't die, and I never shut it off... was NOT easy... If you count that as related to a movie... I'm sure I'll think of a few others...

The Star Wars ones are expanded universe, tops. I think movie tie-ins are more like "Play as Luke Skywalker! Experience the movie first-hand! Blah blah cover up how much this game blows!" kind of stuff.
And Spiderman was originally a comic. So unless you mean the 2 based off the movies (or 3? Was that third one that came out around the same time even close to the movie?), there's not many that are movie tie-ins...

There's lots of other starwars ones... like this one, where it takes place after the movies, and you meet Luke.

I mean as in the games that comes out at about the same time as the movie. Like Avatar the movie got a game later on. And usually they have movie clips in it or something like that. And if they are really trying to milk it there is a toy line too, like Transformers the Movie.
It doesn't really count if the movie has been out for a while and then they made a game like they did with Ghostbusters, which was actually done right, made by fans and people who actually knew what was going on and how it was supposed to go and there was plenty of time to do it properly.

Starwars battlefront has lots of movie clips. but it didn't come out around the same time as the movies... cause it involves all the movies.

I tried to play the Bounty Hunter game. I let so many bounties get away, the tutorial on that one was no help for me.
