Eilov slowly opened the chest, inside lie a glowing jar. Reaching for it a lightning bolt struck Eilov square in the chest, thankfully his rings absorbed the blow for him, immediately after the bolt Eilov could feel his mind being assaulted by the jar. Namidar, we aren't in the camp of a caravan; we're in the camp of an illithid settler group, the jar holds an elder brain fragment. This is serious, we can't transport this out without alerting the entire camp, and I can't transporting it, it has a dimensional anchor on i. Rifling through the contents of the tent, help me think of something! There has to be some way out of this. Huh, the former master illithid left quite the assortment of enchanted trinkets around, maybe... Picking up a few and examining them. Figure out how to get the jar out of the chest, I have an idea... Don't worry I already took the brunt of the blow, your ring will take care of anything that may lurk, just don't wake the brain piece... I'd like to keep this tent free of combatants...

okay i have an idea i figured just in case we needed to incapictate not kill he pulled out a small powder and sprikled it in the jar and the mental pressure laxed somewhat okay now that should relax it a bit and depress it mental abilites somewhat and now for the hard part he slowly picked it up and waited there was very little response from the brain okay now what eliov?

Eilov grabbed the bag of magical trinkets, Okay, so here is my idea. First off it's risky, secondly we have to move very fast once we are there. Just don't touch or think anything. The illithids have unknowingly been transporting a bag of magical items that originate in the far realm. In theroy, if I overload half of the bag with arcane power it should be possible to travel to the far realm and instantly travel any distance; once counterminous to my abode I should be able to overload the second half of the bag and jolt us back. I've only been out there once and I do not relish going back, but if we are to escape while the brain is out and without fighting the rest of the transport, this is our only option. I would prefer to just teleport or shadow walk, but the jar has wards against such travel, probably for instances like this. Only way that this could work is because the far realm violates such wards "naturally". Do you want to take the risk?

namidar smiled anything that involves alot of risk is fine by me and the far realms is one the few places iu haven't been able to go to yet so im good for it he gently placed the jar back down and took the lizard out of his shirt and then it scampered off don't want him coming with me and jioggling the far namidar then gently picked up the container again

Well then, lets go. Eilov took half the contents of the sack and placed them in a separate one. Eilov let himself fall into a trance, his eyes glowed white as he let himself be a physical outlet of the Weave itself, opening his mouth he spoke in every tongue of every race ever to exist in faerun. "NOW NAMIDAR, BEHOLD THE POWER OF THE WEAVE MADE PHYSICAL!" In a flash that leveled the entire illithid camp and tearing the very fabric of the material plane. Suddenly the two were in a place alien to logic itself, the very atmosphere trying to pry into their minds, grasping at their sense of identity trying to snatch it away like some master thief. Gasping for air Eilov crumpled to the ground and arose again, "I have seen it all, everything; the birth of the universe, the death of the greatest gods. I have seen all that the weave has ever touched. But enough of that, I need a moment." Eilov drew out a book and a series of pens. Writing furiously he jotted down thousands of things in mere moments, an effect of the alien plane on time itself. Placing the books back in his robes, "we must hurry the weave will fade now that we are out here." With that he outstretched his hands and used the weave to claw into the very materials that compose the far realm, dragging the surrounding area out of the way and into a place contingent with his shadow plane abode. "Almost at my limit, when we get to my home you will find a skull on my cot. Break it!" And with that his eyes returned to their otherworldly white glow, the Weave again surging through his mortal frame. Unleashing a shock wave of brilliant prismatic colors the two again stood upon the plane of shadow, Eilov collapsed as though dead upon the ground completely motionless...

Eilov did not stir, however a nightwalker arose from his shadow and stood before its masters form, in a voice that shook Namidar to his very soul, "The master left instructions for you whilst upon the Far. Follow them or die by the hands of the shadows..."

(Not terribly sure myself, closest I think any of the books go is along the lines of "What in the nine hells?" or something like that...)
A second Nightwalker appeared from Namidars shadow. Whispering into his ear, "Smash the vessel that lays in my abode, think with you head..." The first Nightwalker added, "We are not able to due to the energies the vessel contains. If you plan to leave this plane alive I suggest you hurry before the masters bonds on us fail..."

A nightwalker that stood far above the rest pushed the others away and lowered its head to Namidar heavy chains hung from its wrists and neck. Crimson eyes an altogether different shade from its brethren stared right through Namidar. In a voice that shook the very ground itself it spoke, "You are so damn lucky that I thought of this Namidar. It's me Eilov I've left a sliver of my soul in this my most powerful shadow construct. By Lolth is it cold in here. Anyways there is a skull on my cot in my broken home. I need you to smash it on top of my normal bodies chest with my ruby dagger; you'll find it in my robes. Try to avoid giving into your drow nature and killing me while my body is like that, lest you forget that I am the only thing binding the nightmares that stalk my estate from dismembering you. Now hurry up before something happens..."

namidar grabbed all the items up that eliov had mentioned and then p[laced the skull on his chest "y'know eliov unlike most drow i at least have a sense of honor you didn't need the nighstalker death threat"" he then broke the skull with the dagger and then waited against a nearby wall

Necromantic energy overflowed from the broken skull into Eilov, red chains emerged from the created nightwalker and hooked into the dagger binding the two for but a moment until they broke. Standing up Eilov brushed off his robes, sheathed the ruby dagger, and put away the nightwalkers. "Sorry about the threat, as I said only a fraction of my soul was in my creation so a bit of its nature may have contorted my speech. I recognize that you honor your alliances and for that I thank you." Picking up some pieces of elder brain he returned to his home and brought out a jar filled with an orange liquid, where he proceeded to place the brain bits inside. "I'm sure our boss would be happy to have this as a paper weight, a symbol of our accomplishment on this mission." Stepping over to the inactive portal he made a few arcane gestures, "Shall we be going back then?"
