Jokerman-EXE Next person to kick Schraeder in the nuts loses 2 AP. Loss of AP will compound for each hit. If Venom does it, he loses the capability to gain AP ever. :c

Jokerman-EXE Taken care of. Tonas, I hate to sound like an a**, but the step I took in the RP was required. We have often grappled with the appearance of absurd growth rates and even pushed things to the point of OPing. It is my regrettable duty to step in and enforce reality. Sorry if that makes it hard to play, but rest assured that you will be given the chance to continue very shortly. Understandable... But I am curious as to why I was KO'd completely when I said I would be out of the fight as far as Sigil powers were concerned, and would essentially just be there as a swordsman.

Sigil powers take up stamina. Sword fighting take up stamina. All the stamina you had was taken up by the Sigil powers. Basically you exercised all your strength away to the point of not being able to lift up a sword.

Basically you exercised all your strength away to the point of not being able to lift up a sword. Ah, I was under the impression by what was stated in the main description of Sigil powers of it being pulled from some "Energy Well", meaning it acted more like mana so to speak, where swordfighting of course, relies on physical strength and stamina. Now that I know that they both draw from the same pool, I'll be more careful, just wish that was outlined more clearly in the beginning. EDIT: Additionally, I appreciate the protection while KO'd. Because if I'm not allowed to defend myself when I had no idea I was going to KO myself, I'd be rather irate.

Posted: Mon Aug 31, 2009 7:53 pm Thread Location: "Sigils: Eve Abilities" Post #: 2 SirBayer 4: Energy WellThe Sigil-powers give all persons exposed to them an energy well that they will almost certainly be required to draw off of to use their Sigil powers. It expands as you gain experience and power, and you learn to use it more efficiently. The wells themselves will never be truly visible. This pretty clearly states that when using Sigil powers, it draws from "Energy" from this unseen "Energy Well". As such, it has led me to believe that this "Energy" is similar to "Mana" as opposed to physical stamina. I grant that using such abilities would also put somewhat of a physical strain on the user, (this is one of the main reasons I put in that the Time Manipulation directly affects my character's heart), however, if one was to completely stop pulling from this temporarily "dried up well", it would only make sense that they could still function normally if only without the assistance of the abilities aforementioned. In conclusion, I make my argument that there are three "bars" that exist within both reality and in the imaginary world. The "Red" Bar - Health/Life, obviously The "Yellow" Bar - Stamina, Endurance The "Blue" Bar - Spiritual/Mental Focus, aka the Mana/Energy bar I will accept whatever verdict the GM's have, I am just making an educated argument... and as a side note, I am seriously wondering why I didn't choose to be a lawyer than my current career path as a game designer.

The verdict is as it was, though your arguments makes sense. We'll take it under advisement, though our current decision stands.
