"AH!" Domo exclaimed excitedly, he knew the frei Lulu had gathered to them. It was the one who had played the games with him at... what was it.. oh yes, the fair. "Zul!" The lead frei moved over almost abandoning the game in loo of greeting the other.
"Domo know Zul." He confirmed hugging his bottle of water, smiling under the guise of his mask. "Zul play splash with Lulu and Va'run too yes? Fun with more, fun is good." This was his way of putting in effort to make more friends. After all Cow-thing wasn't sure that he could do it. Domevlo begged to differ, he was just... picky. If he didn't like something, he didn't like it. 'Nuff said. For now he didn't mind Lulu the bunny, Varun the leviathan, and Zul the... demon? Cocking a head to the side he held up his bottle demonstrating its functions for the demon frei. "It not gun like those but work good too." That's all that mattered to him. That it worked and he could be included in the festivities.

Rivener missed all of what was going on with Zul and Lulu and the impending water-war (thank goodness). The Scorpion's attention was instead on the kitten he now helped off her sun chair, glancing aside and trying not to look like he been staaaaaring at her as she stretched. It's just a friendly dance, just a friendly dance. Rivener didn't know who he was trying to validate all this to, repeating that over and over in his head. Was he trying to convince Lucia not to take it to mean anything? Was he trying to make sure Zul didn't think this was betrayal? Was he trying to convince HIMSELF that it was okay to dance with the black-haired girl??
Gah, too much thinking! He and Lucia had made it to the dance floor already, and the frei released Riv's hand to begin dancing, grinning and looking quite happy. The Sigel simply watched for a while, smirking and forgetting all his previous uncertainty. They were just going to be having fun dancing, that's all. By the time Lucia grabbed the Scorpion's hands, he was chuckling lightly, floating forward to join her in the dancing.
Like Lucia, Riv's lack of legs made for a different style of dancing. The pair floated in circles together and bobbed to the beat. While Lucia used mostly her ribs and shoulders to give her dance her own style, Rivener took advantage of his longer body to include hip movements. It was rather fun, dancing. Riv smiled and spun Lucia lightly from time to time, enjoying the activity greatly. "You're good at that!" he complimented. It's true that most frei would most likely have been lost, not knowing how to move. Lucia just jumped right in: she must dance all the time to be so comfortable doing it!

Lucia smiled wide as her dance partner accepted her hand and floated out on the floor. Letting Rivener lead the dance for the most part, she followed what he was doing. The kitten mimicked what her partner did, moving with her shoulders, ribs and arms a little extra to compensate for his hip movements. Her hair almost floated in the air as she shook her head from side to side in time with the music. She used isolating movements in her rib cage to move only it. She lifted her arms in the air after Rivener spun her and shook her way back to him.
While Lucia had never danced in public, she certainly wasn't afraid of showing off what she believed was amazing dancing considering what she had to work with. Rivener had abs and hips to use, but Lucia only had her shoulders and ribs. Once she has abs and hips she'll be able to do body rolls, hip rolls, and hip thrusts. However, she had learned to dance by watching music videos and dancing shows on her tv and computer. She would slow down their moves and learn them as closely as she could.
As her partner complimented her, a grin spread across her face. "I know!" she teased as she playfully danced against the scorpion. As she got close to him, she placed one hand gently on his shoulder. Her fingers on her other hand brushed against his abs. She felt butterflies in her stomach being so close to him. She didn't have a stomach . . . so how could she feel so weird? Like her chest was tight. Before she could question herself she leaned forward and brushed her lips against his in a quick but sweet kiss. Pulling back she grinned, pulled her body away slightly and spun in a tight circle, never moving too far from the Sigel.

Rivener chuckled at the kitten's reaction to his praise. She was certainly not very modest, was she? Giving Lucia a compliment was like giving her a piece of candy. She would accept it and gobble it up with a grateful smile, happy to have received it, but wouldn't give you back a piece of candy right away. She'd wait until she actually HAD a good compliment to give. It wasn't the normal way people reacted to praise, but Rivener found he liked it. He could be sure that when she DID compliment him, it was an honest compliment, not just something returned lightly.
The pair continued to dance happily as the song flawlessly melded into a different one, the DJ working his magic. Was it Riv's imagination, or was Lucia dancing closer by the second? Ah, one of her hands alit on his shoulder and Riv hesitated for a split second before telling himself that it meant nothing, it was just a casual touch during a dance. The other hand brushed his abs, causing them to tighten lightly with stress under the contact: okaay, maybe this could still be considered an innocent dance-touch...
The next touch could definitely not be called all that innocent. Lucia leaned up and kissed the Sigel swiftly, a short contact of their lips that sent Riv's red eyes popping open wide, his wings flapping once in frantic panic. His entire body had tensed for a second and instantly his eyes sought out Zul, thinking Did he SEE? Lucia moved away then, unconcerned, continuing her dancing uninterrupted. Rivener wasn't so cavalier. He stopped altogether, blushing slightly and rustling his wings back into place, lifting a hand to rub the back of his neck.
Oh gawd, what should he do now? Thoughts zoomed through his head in a second, all at once. He shouldn't do this because he loved Zul! But he liked Lucia a whole lot too, and if he'd never met Zul he might be with HER instead! But the fact remained that he HAD met Zul! But he'd already kissed Lucia once in the past! And Lucia seemed to know what affection was, unlike Zul... But Riv LOVES ZUL! But what if Zul decides he didn't love Riv later? Would Lucia hate Riv and it would be too late to be with her then? But argh, he can't string people along, Riv HAD to make a decision and stick to it even if it was the wrong one... If only he could know right now which decision WAS the wrong one!!
"Uhm, Lucia, listen..." A mere second and a half after the kiss, Rivener lifted a hand to lightly take one of the kitten's and he moved closer so he could speak quietly, not wanting anyone else to overhear. "I-... I like someone else that way now. I'm sorry... I still like you a lot, really I do, and I'd like to keep seeing you around, but uhm... I don't think we should kiss anymore." Gah, Rivener felt so damned nervous. Had he said it right? Would she hate him now? He was SO damned nervous!

"Dome'lo," Zul greeted the lead Frei happily, his free hand lifting to rest on the lead Frei's shoulder. "It is very good to see you. You like to shoot, yes?" The demon couldn't help but tease, since the last game with a gun had ended with the thing being horribly bashed against the nearest hard surface. The graphite-skinned male seemed to have picked up a bit more vocabulary, and Zul couldn't help a small twinge of pride for it. "You're growing up fast," he complimented his friend lightly, his smile a touch more personal.
He turned to regard the Leviathan with a wider smile. "Varun, you are doing well?" Zul felt so old all of a sudden, surrounded by the three younger Frei. He'd seen them all as newborns, except Varun, but he'd still met him shortly after he'd been born. He felt like he was a mentor of some sort, or should be, and he couldn't help but wonder if that's how Rivener looked at them...or looked at him.
Blue eyes slid to the side to seek out the Sigel, just in time to find the kitten's kiss. A dark brow lifted, and a strange, almost amused smile curved his lips. So she was a special one to Rivener too? Did he love her? The demon felt an odd pang in his chest at the idea of having to vye for Rivener's attention, but it didn't bother him too much - as far as Zul was concerned, everyone in Rivener's vicinity should be so attracted to the Sigel. The black-haired female at least had some wits about her, and he couldn't help but wonder how much older she was. Maybe she was more mature, and would grow, and feel the flutter in her stomach before he could...
Looking back to the three, he rolled his shoulders in a shrug, bone wings beating idly. "Splashing, hmn. Not sure, Dome'lo, water and I don't get along." His rune almost seemed to hum in the memory of the water getting too close before. No, what he was made of did not work well with the liquid, at least not by his middle. Zul gave the squirt gun a cursory glance; maybe it wouldn't be the same, if it wasn't the ocean? It wouldn't hurt to try, right?

She felt Rivener stop moving before she turned and saw that his expression had changed. Why had he suddenly gone from carefree to awkward and closed in? The smile that lit up her face faded as the scorpion reached up and lightly took one of her hands. The frei felt the warmth of her dance partner's hand around hers, but it no longer was the friendly playful hand that had just been holding hers as they danced. Lucia's eyebrows furrowed slightly, not really understanding what she was being told. He likes someone else like that. He likes me . . . and wants to see me . . . "around."
The kitten's eyes cast downward, looking at her belt buckle lying limply on the floor. Her ears moved back defensively. But he was just joking around on the chair. He was just dancing so closely. He -- she cut off her hurt thoughts and made an effort to change her emotions and change her reaction. In a split second, she went from looking like a hurt, emotional, and upset woman to her face tightening, her shoulders going from hunched over and dejected to straight and back. Pulling her hand away from his grasp, she crossed her arms in front of her chest, her hands in fists. She moved away from him, as if his closeness was the original creator this disturbance in her life. And it was. If he didn't want to play around, why did he dance with her? Why did he come so close? He certainly had complimented her since she'd gone over to him. Her eyes hardened and she looked away, over at the other raevans. "That's fine," she said cold, hard, monotonous. She tried to think of what she could do to hurt him back. He'd gotten jealous before over absolutely nothing. She could give him something to be jealous of.
Biting her lip, she forced any tears or hurt feelings away and, hopefully, out of her eyes. She didn't trust herself to talk without him seeing her emotions. Without a second thought. Without looking to see the consequences. Lucia uncrossed her arms and punched him square in the stomach. Not that her punch could really hurt anything. Lucia turned, flapped her wings, and floated back to her chair, glad for the large dark sunglasses at least partly hiding her eyes.
Not looking back at him she plastered a smile on her face. When she approached her guardian, still sunning herself, the kitten mentioned joining the raevans on the other side of the pool. When Yuurei told her the one with soft animal-like ears was Josh's her eyes locked on the sweet-looking LuLu. She smiled and waved her digits at her guardian as she floated around the other side of the pool to the raevans. Floating up towards LuLu, though slightly weary of the gun and water bullets he mentioned, Lucia smiled warmly and waved at the bunny. "Hi!" she said, making her ears twitch slightly so Josh's raevan would hopefully notice their obvious connection.

Rivener winced internally. Ohhhh this was bad. This was very bad. Just by her ears flattening like that, Rivener could tell. Not that there was a lack of other signs: her hand tensing in his, her eyes turning down, her ribbon going partway limp with sadness or disappointment or whatever she might be feeling at the moment. And then just like flipping a switch everything changed again: she pulled her hand free of his, crossed her arms, stood up straight again and floated back. <********.
The Scorpion gave a sigh. The way she spoke those few words, "that's fine", clearly said that it was NOT fine. Okay, Rivener deserved this treatment. He'd have to pay for... for... for whatever he'd done. Should he have told her right off the bat today that he didn't want to be like this anymore? B-but it had been so fun to flirt!
"OOF!" Riv suddenly gasped, more surprised than hurt by the sudden punch to his gut. He curled forward slightly and flapped his wings in alarm for a moment, one hand lifting to his stomach. Wide red eyes watched the angry kitten float off, stunned. He opened his mouth to say something, but really what could he say? Frowning lightly in shame, blushing, Riv glanced around: he hoped no one had seen that. How uncool of him. Cowed, the Scorpion turned and headed back to his sunchair. He suddenly didn't much feel like partying anymore. ...He hoped Zul would come back to him soon, but he didn't want to interrupt the demon-frei's fun. With a sigh, Riv flopped onto the chair and closed his eyes, ready to try and forget this unpleasantness.

LuLu’s wings fluttered against Zul’s modest touches. She did not mind the contact; especially if it was from Zul. The rabbit frei would be contented with the image they created by the pool. The two raevans were comfortable with each other; their relationship being remarkably similar to a brother and sister. They may be able to give even Rivener and Eiry a run for their money one day in the field of sibling affection. LuLu’s wings gave another rapid flutter as Zul seemed to be second guessing her proposal. The female frei spun around to face him and plastered a smile on her face. It read: “You will join.”
“It is only a little water. I was afraid at first too.” She nodded curtly before she made a show out of the water gun. She squirted a small stream to demonstrate how harmless they were. She seemed unbothered by the action. This said a lot, considering the raevan was usually skittish around anything from a shadow to a lamp. “Safe.” She placed her guns in his hands. She did not mind sharing if it was with Zul. He was the one person that she believed deserved something from her. “You can play now.” She could not help herself from bouncing gently in place. It was a habit she had possessed since her birth.
LuLu’s ears swiveled slightly to follow a voice that had interrupted her time with Zul. She craned her pigtailed head back to see someone unfamiliar behind her. Soon, the rest of her body followed, until she was fully facing the cat raevan. LuLu’s lips had formed into a curious pout as she gave the new frei a once over. Lavender eyes trailed upward and stopped when they fell on the two fuzzy accessories atop Lucia’s head. LuLu gave an abrupt squeak of joy and rushed over to Lucia as if she had momentarily forgotten about Zul. Her arms suddenly wrapped around the other female body and two hands reached up in tandem to stroke her ears. LuLu’s fingers gave a few more movements as if testing the ear’s authenticity. When the inspection was over LuLu chimed, “Like me! You are like me!”She had found another new friend.

Lucia blinked in surprise as LuLu's arms wrapped around her. A genuine smile spread across her face as she hugged the bunnyrabbit in return. As LuLu rubbed her ears, Lucia closed her eyes and arched her shoulder's and leaned her head back towards the hands petting her ears. That really did feel good. Smirking slightly at her reaction, Lucia released LuLu from the hug, reached one hand up to gently scratch the base of the long rabbit ears. "Soft," she said with a quick stroke of her fingers.
Her eyes couldn't help but flick, for just a second, to where HE had migrated. He was sitting all by himself. He didn't look happy. She smiled internally, feeling a little satisfaction at ruining his day.
Returning her attention to the present, Lucia looked at the firey-haired raevan that the long-eared raevan had been talking to; she gave him a quick and subtle once over. She smiled at Zul and pointed from his spiky bracelets to her own with a grin. "I'm Lucia!" she said cheerily, addressing both the rabbit and the baphomet.

LuLu was almost sad when the other female released her hold. If you listened closely you could have picked up the faintest whimper. Soon, however, that whimper faded into a pleased hum. The rabbit frei concluded instantly: this raevan was a good person. Her ears flopped forward as if with their own resolve to get more attention.
LuLu looked past her two furry appendages to… Lucia. That name was perfect for her new friend! It sounded familiar yet still with a spice of difference. This meeting was getting better and better even though it had only just started. The bunny raevan hopped with excitement again. Her hands found themselves clasped together just under her bosom to prevent them from flailing about in happiness. She did not feel like risking poking out a person’s eye. Especially with so many new friends about.
LuLu exclaimed with a giggle, “I am LuLu. Like Lu-cia. We are very similar.” She followed Lucia’s motion to her wrists. Her's were adorned with spiked bracelets just like Zul’s own pointed accessories. They were similar too! Maybe Lucia was nice like Zul? No. She had to be! LuLu pondered briefly before she uttered her next words, “We can be best friends?” She looked up with large, hopeful eyes.

The pointed smile LuLu gave him made him laugh, an amused, rich sound. It was so much like his woman, the way she gave him the Smile That Was Not Amused! Zul accepted the gun with raised brows, giving LuLu a curious look. "No, not a..." he trailed off as his female counterpart was suddenly distracted, turning with the gun in his hands to face...the one with the fantastic set of ears!
He was quiet throughout the exchange between the females, fingers idly drawing over the gun and the foreign feel of the weighted plastic. The kitten's quick movement made his attention shift to her, noting her pointing and following her finger to the indicated spiked bracelet. Before he could respond, LuLu did the same and then was accosting the one named Lu-Cia for her friendship, which made the demon smile to himself; anyone who could refuse a plea like that was heartless and didn't deserve the bunny's friendship!
Zul floated a slight ways from the two, carefully putting the gun down on one of the near by chairs. It was awkward in his hands and he felt a little silly just floating there with it in his grip, like some type of at-rest soldier. Blue eyes turned to the femmes, only to recall that Lucia was supposed to be dancing with Rivener. His attention waned again and turned towards where the music was - no Rivener there. He looked to where the chairs were and - ah, the Scorpion was there, sunning and looking as striking as ever.
He began to float towards the Sigel, but stopped just a short ways beyond the females, looking back to them with hesitation. He didn't want to be rude, but it seemed to him that they were quite content, busying themselves with one another.

Lucia smiled at LuLu's response. "We are similar! We have similar names and similar ears!" She looked at the firey-haired raevan floating slightly away and placing his gun and with its water bullets on the table and she cocked her head to the side in wonder. Why didn't he want to talk, like the girl? Her eyes cast to long ears as the bunny, wide-eyed and innocent, asked if they could be best friends. Lucia grinned at the question, remembering a ghost who had made a similar inquiry and wrapped a friendly arm around LuLu's waist. "Of course we can be best friends! We'll be best friends forever. Do you have a cell phone?" the kitten asked, her eyes drifting back to Zul as he floated a bit away, but seemed stuck in a purgatory.
No one just floated away from her. Unless they were cold hearted bitches like Lucretia or Roux, but Zul didn't seem like them. Pursing her lips together, she tossed her hair and blinked a few times. "Who is he, LuLu?" she asked extending a slender finger and pointing towards Zul before he drifted too far away.

LuLu squirmed with joy when Lucia accepted her proposal as if a wave of happiness had surged through her. All the energy found its way out through her ears which had caused them to tremble slightly. LuLu paused in her blissful seizure long enough to question, “Cell… phone? I have a phone at home? Is this a cell phone?” Lulu pursed her lips in thought. “The number is…,” She looked up in the air as if the answer would somehow fall into her face. Her eyes traced over the scarce clouds in the sky for a few seconds. “Oh!” The rabbit had recalled the prized digits, “***-***-****”
LuLu swiveled around to spot Zul when Lucia announced her next inquiry. The rabbit smiled. It never really occurred to her that some people had not met Zul since he had always been there for her. “He is Zul. The best!” Her quaint smile spread into large grin. It always did when she mentioned Zul. LuLu did not take notice of Zul’s perpetual dancing in limbo as he tried to leave the two girls. She did, however, take notice of his abandoned gun. The frei dismissed it though. He must have been really afraid of water. LuLu concluded that she would not press the issue. Zul would not do it if she was afraid of something.
Instead, she took the gun from the table, simultaneously taking up arms. Her previous mission reformed in her mind like an epiphany. She looked around the pool to see what had become of her other teammates. Zul was out of the game. Varun was near as well as Domo. LuLu also took notice of two other things:
Josh was moving their belongings to the car.
They would be leaving soon.
The other thing she noticed was an annoying mop of blue hair in the kiddy pool. LuLu now had her target for ambush. The only drawback was that she did not have much time and a conversation with a certain cat girl stood in her way. She turned to Lucia with a look of regret, “I am leaving soon,” She pointed at Josh waltzing towards the parking lot before she continued, “I have to surprise someone before I go. It was fun meeting you. Call soon, okay.” With that, she floated off. She was a frei on a mission.
That mission was the destruction of Sevillin.
LuLu approached the kiddy pool slowly. She even floated a bit higher than usual to prevent her ribbon from dragging along the ground and causing any unwanted noise. She paused to look at the gentle rippling of the small pool and the frail raevan that resided in it. The sight was a picturesque vision of innocence and helplessness.
Sevillin was good at deceiving.
LuLu wasted no time in unleashing a stream of water at the back of the sea fairy’s head. “Surprise!” She called out before bursting into a fit of giggles.

"Surprise!"
His long fins registered the horrible shrill that was Lulu's voice and didn't wait long to turn and glare at her. But so suddenly his face was soaked by a jet of water that clung to his cheeks, hair, soaked into his clothes, and began pulling the salt from his pores in osmotic fashion. ******** fresh water!
Sevilin darted out of the line of attack, turning around to rub the water off of his face before it took any more of his nutrients.
Parting with his water-sodden sun hat he did his best to keep composure. The sea fairy prided himself on never crying since he had his new home. Well, there had been like a few little dabbles here and there, but nothing heartbreaking. And now in this last week of hell, he was like an active faucet all the time. In front of all these young Raevans, crying was the last thing he wanted them to see.
And that b***h of a frei was wringing out every last tear. He turned around, though it was hard to tell what was just water and what were burning tears, face polished into a foul scowl that he'd learned from We`rika and floated over to meet Lulu.
This was exactly why he hadn't wanted to come! Why didn't anyone listen anymore?! He looked around, watching those who were watching them and those who had better things to occupy their time with. Before the blue nymph even came to a halt, a small hand slapped her across the face. This wasn't just some little Prima Donna disagreement anymore. He was unhappy and he was going to show it to everyone.

Domovelo smiled happily a gesture hidden by his mask but showing fondly through his eyes. He hadn't seen the demon frei since his first meeting with the cow-thing... Thanatos. Ever since that day he'd been slowly getting used to his guardian and had even met a few Raevan's along the way. Some of them were here today, though thankfully one of them had not shown. Domo was not ready to see 'her' just yet.
"Domo grow and learn quickly, yes! Like shoot too!" He announced glad that the demon frei was so attentive to his growth (though he had a lot more to learn). This was something the lead frei loved most, attention. Though soon that attention shifted as Lulu began to strike a conversation with the demon frei. Fading to the background, Domo arched a curious brow wondering what the two where getting on about. His query would have to wait as a new frei had entered the picture. Eyes looked quizzically at the kitten frei. She was ... something but Domevlo could not gather in his thoughts the word he was looking for. Frustration creased his brow as he turned to Varun with something akin to a point and general annoyance.
"Ignore us?" He questioned the leviathan. "No like ignore." This was evident but he didn't want to disappoint the cow-thing with a sudden tantrum. Rather then get upset he sprayed Varun in the face, better to get negative attention then no attention at all. Though while he was busy with riling Varun to action a certain bunny frei had been on her own mission, one that didn't end to well when the sound of flesh on flesh filled the air. Domo turned abruptly in mid-spritz to the sight of a Raevan he hadn't met slapping Lulu across the face. Somehow he liked the gesture but he did not like that Lulu was the recipient...
