Name: Blackwing Rose Favorite Boingo/Elfman song: No One Lives Forever (I don't know the names of most of Elfman's musical pieces, but I love them all!) Favorite band member: Danny (cuz I know nothing about the others) Favorite movie: too many.....some are Fight Club, The Crow, Princess Bride, Love Acutally Other bands I like: NIN, Tool, Tori Amos, Kate Bush, Tangerine Dream, Lacuna Coil, Led Zep, Boston etc. etc. Favorite food: cheese Favorite actor: Samuel L. Jackson, Bill Nighy, Ian Mckellan, Brad Pitt, Mia Kirshner Favorite color: Blue Etc. I've been into Boingo since I was a kid because my mom is a big fan and lust openly for Elfman smile I also love film scores and consider them to be modern day classical music. My profile page pretty much sums me up otherwise.

Hey Welcome Blackwing Rose. A lacuna coil fan as well I See? I've only heard two songs years ago, you shall have to inform me more about them. (I heard Entwined and Comalies)
And if you don't know the names of most.. well... we can tell you .^_^ And talk to you about things you want to know. And I'm glad you love film scores. Maybe we can talk about scores sometime? I know I've gotten more into the film score aspect of music because of danny. (And it's the only reason I'm watchin the Oscars. So I can rant and rave at the stupidity of the acadamy. Also why I'm tracking down all the nominated scores and listening to them. ^^ wink

Thanks for the warm welcome Sojuske! Really, my c.d. collection, taken in it's entirety tends to confuse most people, lol.
And the thing is, most people who like film music at all are probably Elfman fans and don't realize it. I know I forget all the stuff he's done! xd

I know. Makes it easy to make them an elfman fan. You just gotta open their eyes... Hehe.
Oh and don't worry, my music collection confuses people as well. Like, lots of japanese rock, pop, film scores, celtic music, rock, christian choir music.. heh. They just put me down as "weird" instead of trying to place wme with musical tastes like that.

Name: zim (nothing to do with the cartoon) Favorite Boingo/Elfman song: "Insanity" Favorite band member: Well Danny... but followed closely by John Avila Favorite movie: Session 9 Other bands I like: My Chemical Romance, Orgy, Gorillaz, "Weird Al" Yankovic, Steve Burns (singer... not a band *L*) Favorite food: rice Favorite actor: Elias Koteas, Sam Rockwell, Bill Pullman Favorite color: black and blue
I've been an Elfman fan for as long as I can remember and an Oingo Boingo fan for probably... six years or so, not really all that long. I'm 24, I'm completely obsessed with Ninja Turtles, and I'm a civilian contractor working for the Navy as a requirements analyst. I play with spreadsheets basically. xd

Most blank stares can be remedied with, "Okay, you know Tim Burton? No? Nightmare Before Christmas...? Yes, him! His composer, for almost every movie. That guy, that's Danny Elfman. What's that? Oh. Yes, he did write the Simpsons theme. rolleyes "
