Zai looked over at him. "Nothin', just listening..."

Zai glanced over at Salazar and said, "Sure."

Salazar glared at Phantom and said. "If you get snippy with me again you won't even have the chance."

"Can we please keep the insults and threats down to a Minimum?" Edward started out the passage way leading to the cave entrance. Once outside Edward started down the mountain and towards the castle.

Zai fell asleep instantly, over three days with no sleep finally caught up with her.

Kirai walked into a hidden section of the caves, her black cape fluttering about. In her mind, played everything. Banshi... a message, a prayer, as to what has been happening. Her soul leaving her at night, searching, watching. All of this flashed before her eyes, as she pushed open a heavy metal door with alchemy and occult symbols all over it. Stepping inside, there were human skulls on the walls, red candles everywhere. With a swish of a hand, they all became illuminated. The room was in the shape of a circle, with salt all along the outside, which glittered in the dim light. Crystals lined the walls, and circles and several symbols were drawn in a pattern, on the floor, walls, and cealing, out of blood. In the center was a black coffin. Silently walking over to it, Kirai opened it to reveal human bones, and folded clothing set aside beside it. Kirai stood at the head of it, looking down at the skull, which seemed to be stareing up at her. She began chanting words, looking at a different symbol with each relating word, completely in a trance yet in control. The flames on the candles grew larger, wind seemed to come inside of the cave and the air suddently grew intensly warm and earthy smelling, like a hundred sticks of incense being burned at once. Finally, spreading out her arms, and kneeling infront of the coffin, she placed her hands on the skull, cutting her fingers with her nails, and holding two needles pointed towards where the eyes should be, blood dripping down them. Suddenly, all the candles which before were burning bright went out. It was pitch dark. Sounds like scattering, moaning, and breaking were heard. Kirai stayed perfectly still for several hours, until finally getting up, walking around in a circle around the coffin three times, then relighting the candles in the room. Walking back toward the coffin, she leaned in towards the now fully formed and nude male body, and whispered gently and lovingly, "Lanius, wake up."

Dove led the man into the caves, farther than most would dare to travel until they reached the highest cavern.. taking Bunny from Hawks arms and laying her over a soft pallet of skins, cooing softly as the girl made keening sounds. pulling the pain killing balm from her hip holster she spread it over the girls eyes again, pointing towards the far side of the room as she ordered Hawk. " Antiseptic, i want these threads out of her eyes Now."

She was.. aware. pain, betrayel, and grief had her choked, but she would no die.. not yet. a image of Salazar flashed in her mind and she felt a tear for.. the salty water burning her damaged eyelids and almost wringing a cry from her. maybe she wanted to kill him because killing him would take the pain from her heart.. her thoughts faded, returned, and spaced once again.. her body perfectly still as the physical and mental pain washed through her once more. Nah..
