I haven't been hacked, but someone tried to fish for my password once and I reproted their a** and they got banned.
They looked like an admin and said I had been reported for trolling and bla bla bla, but they were asking for my password and I thought that was suspicious so I checked out the rules and it said Gaia staff will never ask for your password. That and their username wasn't in colored text.

that's what being 'hacked' is lol..
when you're scammed and a person goes into your account and takes things.

basically
when someone lies to trick you. and sometimes password phishing is included.
which leads to you getting 'hacked'.

i'll give examples since I'm bored.
there's the scamming that's like, someone says they're sell you an item for 3.8mil and when they send the items it's some cheap lookalike that's worth 15k.
then there's the scamming that's telling you to enter your password on a site, claiming to be Gaia or associated with Gaia, but really it's a fake site so they can steal your s**t.
or saying 'ohno you were reported, enter your usename & password so you don't get banned'. that garbage.

I've Been Hacked Before....Like....August 30,2009....Lost My Items...I Was Cosplaying Bleach....Then Got Hacked, Stole My Bolster Sword But, I Feel Ok Now That I Got Back My Money (By Saving Up).....Well Yea Im Richer Now,But Still Saving Up For Lusty Scoundrel ^_^

i got a pm from a GO support system syaing this
"Attention,

Swearing, Flaming, and Trolling are not an offense to the ToS of Gaia.
