Ashe shook her head, following everyone into the forest. "If you hold no fear of the Forest your signing a death wish."
Once inside the woods she climbed up into a tree and followed the pirate until she spotted the webs and cursed. "Not good...They've moved closer to the fringe." She took out her bow and notched an arrow, listening for the sounds of the spiders.

"Maybe I am," She smiled a little, "I hate spiders. But I'm sure we'll be fine."

She shrugged a bit, "It could. We could burn them with fire...But then again, it might attract other monsters. Worse monsters."

"You'll hate these spiders even more. They're giant. I'd say as big as a wild cat if you ask me. Fire will do some damage, though," Freya explained as she drew her sword and jumped in the trees along with their feline crew member. "They climb the trees, and come down on their webs to eat wandering travelers, so watch your head," she warned. At that moment, a red glint caught her eye, causing a yelp of excitement to escape past her lips.
"Found the bloody suckers!" Freya exclaimed as she jumped towards the spider ahead and went to stab it in it's head. These spider's weren't weak, and Freya realized this when the spider quickly blocked her attack with it's large pincers. "Bloody hell," she shouted as she drew her sword back and jumped over it. "If I can't get you from the front then I'll get you from behind!" she mumbled as she moved in quickly with her sword firmly in her grasp and ready to pierce into the hard skeleton that protected the spider's insides.
*CRACKK*
The sound caused a joyous laugh to erupt from Freya's throat as she twisted her sword deeper into the squealing spider. "One down, about nine more to go," she estimated while she pulled out her sword from the writhing arachnid. It fell from the branch onto the forest ground below, and as if it were merely an image of a dream, it shrived up into a small dead spider and disappeared on the spot.

She looked up into the trees, ignoring the dead spider that came flying down.
"I heard that spiders have soft undersides. You could try that next time, and it'd lower the risk of you breaking a weapon."

Ashe called down, "Not with these ones." She swung her bow and let loose an arrow into the trees above them. An inhuman scream came from the spider that she hit. Ashe pulled out two arrows and fired them at once into the spider, blinding the creature. Pulling out her knife she climbed up to it and cracked the shell that protected its gut, spilling it's blood and dropping in down onto the forest floor.
She placed the knife's handle into her mouth and pulled another three arrows out, putting them head down into the branch she was on for easy access. She notched a fourth and waited for another spider.

"How interesting then," She knelt down and picked up what she made sure was a long, thick yet normal stick. She ripped a little cloth from the bottom of her dress, ignoring the imagined cries of distress she knew her mother would've made, and wrapped it around the stick, handing it to Leo, "I have a feeling it will take more than a simple match."

"It's their inability to break easily that makes it so fun killing them!" Freya chuckled as she locked on to an other target. She nimbly jumped to an other branch and prepared herself for a tough fight. Her knees bent and her sword was drawn at her side, her grip as tight as ever on the handle.
Before she moved in for the attack, she glanced down at Io through the leaves. "Aye, ye be right. Use the end of your staff there, though. It has a sharp point at the bottom, and it looks like it won't break easily," she suggested before sprinting towards the spider and locking her blade with its pincers. It's millions of eyes stared into hers and sent shivers down her spine, it's hate and craving for her clearly seen.
"You, won't, get me that easily!" she grunted as she struggled to retrieve her blade from the spider. She pulled back and somersaulted in the air, moving to a safe position for her to rethink where she was going with her attack. Man, if only my blade could wrap around the bloody spider like a snake and slice it into little pieces, she wished as she glanced her eyes up and down the large spider.
Suddenly, the hilt of her sword turned into a scaly figure, causing Freya to jump in surprise and drop it on the branch. "What the..." she observed as she watched her sword transform in to a bladed snake that glimmered in the non-existent light. A sharp forked tongue emitted from it's mouth as it hissed in joy. "My sword..." Freya watched in amazement as her newly transformed blade slithered to the curious spider and wrapped it's sharp metallic self around the creature's body. The spider was now struggling as the blades cut easily into it's skeletal form, and as if the bladed snake was a Boa Constrictor, it squeezed the spider beast around it's middle until it had suffocated and been sliced in two.
"Simply amazing," Freya noted in awe while she watched the snake slither back into her hand and change back into a sword. "My sword is bloody enchanted!" she shouted happily as she looked around for a new practice target.

Her eyes widened in surprise and amazement, curiosity flaring through her body.
"That was, indeed, very amazing!!" She stared at the sword in wonder, "I would love to see that again! Maybe it can turn into other things, too??"

Ashe heard the pirate's explanation, but ignored it because she saw a spider making it's way towards the boy on the ground. It was a little out of her ranged but she gritted her teeth and pulled the arrow as far back as it could go. "Fly," she said around her knife handle, releasing the arrow, feeling a breeze follow the arrow. Not registering the wind, she pulled another arrow she let it fly after the first arrow.
Both arrows found their targets and, placing the last two arrows back into her quiver, she jumped down and ran towards the beast. Grabbing her knife she jumped over the spider and dug the knife in it's abdomen. Jumping off she took her arrows out of it's eyes and ran back to where she fell her first spider. Picking up those three she situated herself to protect the flame.

She stepped to the side as the giant flaming arachnid fell down. She quickly stabbed it in the semi-soft underbelly and pulled her staff out, batting it on the ground to get rid of any remaining flames.
"An elephant?" She chuckled a bit as the wind swept by her, thinking nothing of it, "Good luck finding one here...Or, at least, one that won't try to kill us horridly."
