BlackxStarxCrossedxSky Arual Enilorac Yeah...I'm totally lost here. More of an online RPGer, myself. Again, might look up some DND in the future, though. I'd advise you to. At least before fourth ed came out, they had the entire set of books available online. I forget teh name of the document though. Wow, an entire set? o.o Well, what edition was the best/will you guys be playing by? I don't want to read a whole bunch of books and then find out they were the wrong edition. xD

Most people here tend to go by 3.x (3.0 or 3.5, which are similiar). 2.0 and older are well, old, and 4.0 isn't well liked by story lovers.

Trying to get back on topic now...
Aside from the female-dwarf-cousins, humans, and some kind of elf what other races should we have?...

Well, I've always liked Draconians, but I recall there being some resignation about allowing them on in earlier posts. (Dragon geek. xD)
So...maybe some sort of Naga race? (Would anyone play that? xD There'd be some problems jumping, but swimming might be easier.)
And I'm assuming were-races are equally disliked, because most people tend to overuse them. (But I wouldn't have anything against them...owo )

i am thinking Lycans and Undead are all (or at least mostly) to be non-player races only. same with draconic races. realy, we don't need more than dragons and half-dragons.
i like Halfling/Hobbits/Hin, and i also like Goblins and Orcs (and Elruks, which are half Orc and half Elf).

No, my poor Kapak Draconians!!...
Okay, I like the Naga race idea but let's make them anthro to balance it out for them a bit (I'd play one), I also vote for were- races, just with additions, conditions, modifications, etc. something to change it up a bit from the norm of things...
I vote for the fae/fey, as long as they are changed up from the D&D norm...

Well, when I do normal RP's, I usually play as Draconians, too. xP But I suppose an anthro Naga would be the same, just without wings and horns and such. Right? ...
I'd like were-races, too. But are we talking about the permanent anthro kind, the shifting anthro, the shifting full animal, or the (probably not going to be used) originally full animal but shifting to human/ anthro kind?

I'd say have the nagas be more like yaunti (think I got that right) where they are snake-people. Not just a snake with a humanoid head. As for the infected Lycans (whenever I hear that word it makes me think of Underworld and I just see Kate Beckensale in a skin-tight leather outfit... grrrrrr!), I'd say with enough practice/time/will-power they could be able to control the shifting to blood-thirsty animal during the day and moonless nights, but could never stop the moonlight from bringing the change about. Course when they do shift they wouldn't be much in control and it would just be animalistic instincts in control.

Course when they do shift they wouldn't be much in control and it would just be animalistic instincts in control. When I said Nagas, I was thinking of reptilian skin, humanoid shape for the upper half, and snake for the lower, though we could just do reptilian skin all over to make it fairer.
Also, are Lycanthropes just limited to wolves, or will we be including other animals as well?
And for the Draconians, which I'm assuming we're including since we're doing Lycans and the like, we could just do something like Nagas but with wings. Either that, or completely humanoid with wings, tail, etc.
But for the flying races (fae included) , I think we'd have to take away something to even out the playing field.
