No one said you had to be smart to lead the Rogue. You just have to be able to kill the current one and either keep your people happy or scare them into submission. Kayfer was the same way till Rosto killed him. I do agree about a guy being kicked out of the army doing all that for revenge though it does seem a bit dubious.

Well, no you don't have to be smart to lead the Rogue, but you -do- have to be smart to stay alive, I mean, fear can only keep them in check for so long, and what if new blood comes into town and doesn't know to fear you, like in Rosto's case? Kayfer wasn't stupid, I don't think, he just got too comfortable on his throne, and forgot to watch his back. (Then again, I haven't read Terrier since it first came out, so I could be horribly wrong and I just don't remember. xd )

Yes but that obviously isn't hard. At least according to Tunstall. I think that Kayfer did get to comfortable after all and his district chiefs were all a little Lazy because he gave them a lot of money so they didn't feel like overthrowing him themselves instead using their members to do the job if they were going to do it.

Eh, the way I see it is that She might not go with Rosto. Consider that maybe she and Rosto do something and he dies. But she could always end up pregnant.
But if you think about it in every of her books about tortal, their is always a twist you don't expect. Like Jonathon and Alanna. Or Draper and the one girl from the immortal series. Like you see it happening, but their is always a twist. (Rambling on maybe, don't know if it made sense.)
Though, in my hope she gets together with Rosto. ;~; She is annoying though at some parts. Sometimes I wish she just died already.

Ouch xd And you all thought I was harsh on Beka 4laugh You know what I just noticed? Tamora Pierce likes big hands. All the charming males have huge hands. Am I the only one who noticed?

I go off on Beka for being a Mary Sue all the time, even if I don't write it here. She drives me crazy. (I never thought you were being harsh on her Marker.)
Both you're totally right! There's always a twist in Tammy's books and all the charming guys have big hands. Maybe Tammy's husband has big hands...hmm (Am I the only one who thinks we should add that to the questions for our letter?)
And finally, wow. Rosto, do you really call Numair by his old name? ...interesting

EH, well, yeah, but when I remember books I remember every thing, so Draper came to my mind first before Numair.

Most of her male characters also have either a big Nose or a defining nose. She always mentions the guy's noses. I like Beka in Terrier but not Bloodhound. It's very true she could end up pregnant and we know that she either never marries or her husband doesn't have a last name. I hope she gets with Rosto though as I love him.

Erm..And don't they seem like they have the same personalities traits of some of the other males from her other books.
Like they are all charming and throw the girls off their feet. They are all jealous easily. and what not. o-o; Now that I think about it, it seems that way. They only have one or traits that are their own to me it seems.

You're right and she's planning to write books about Numair. I think George is probably the most unique.

I think every (female) author has a thing about guys that she can't help but put into all of her stories. I know that happens with my guys: hair and eyes, I'm obsessed. All of my main character's love interests have green or hazel eyes and shaggy hair. The only exception is my current TP fanfic. But I have a character like that (Josha), his role just changed drastically as I wrote...That happens to TP too. She planed for Alanna to end up with Jon.

Eh, Numair's should be interesting. Eh, but I have to disagree with George, because the way I see it, she is branching Rosto off of George's personality.

Like R0KI I understand where you're coming from, but it seems like the same person with the same personality, but maybe with one or two things different. Well to me it does. =/ Each is unique but they are all connected. Only one or two traits are different.
