She stared at him a moment in utter shock after he said the complaiment. She turned the brightest shade of red she'd managed yet and seemed to become rather twitterpated. She quickly placed her bit of bagel onto the plate with a trembling and embarrased hand, before she could drop it. She just blushed and smiled shyly at him for a moment. "Now where did you get that sweet line from, Mr. Flatterer?" she said still desperately trying not to fall for some con artist who would later break her heart.

Another smirk of confidence befell his lips, answering her question. "I honestly just come up with these things." Confidence is something that comes rarely but is very appreciated when felt. Realizing his bagel was already finished, a blush crossed his cheek. "I'm sorry...I didn't mean to eat quickly."
Sipping some of his tea, his look focused more towards her. Her beauty and intelligence seemed to be a very rare find, with thoughts of what might be her flaws crossed his minds. Smiling to himself, he had an epiphany that angels have no flaws.

Kriia smiled slightly at his blush and murmured quitely. "It's understandable, guys usually finish thier food faster than women." She nibbled at the last couple bites left to her own bagel then swallowed the last of her tea in one swig. She realized he was studying her and wondered why as she gathered her books together at the side of the table nervously. Kriia was not a social butterfly. She didn't know what would be the proper thing to do next. She wanted to start heading back to her dorm room, but she didn't want to leave Kalynn's precence either. She liked Kalynn and felt comfortable about him. She decided he wasn't some flirt trying to break her heart and relaxed a little while she waited for him to choose what they would do next.

Retreating his look back, he politely grabbed her hand and stood up. "Well, it's getting quite late. It would probably be best to get you back to your dorm before it's lights out." His hand held hers in a contempt way, as he left the full amount of the food plus a nice tip.
Pulling the seat out and helping her up, the chair was pushed back in as they were leaving. Having her beside him felt quite nice and relieved. To keep a conversation going, he asked gently. "What is your favorite type of book?" while they were going out the doors.

Kriia smiles over at him and murmurs softly slipping her fingers through his gracefully. "I'm a fan of anything in fiction." She grins ruefully. "Guess my head's always in the clouds rather than here." As she enjoys the feel of his warmth at her side while she walks she murmurs. "What types of things do you read?" She looked interested as they walked out of the cafe back to the doorms.

"Oh, how cute is this?" Ayise asked as she dragged Kumi by the arm into the tiny cafe'. She seemed fascinated by the colorful decorations and quaite atmosphere, "See? There are tons of places to go. So you can't ever be bored." She grinned at him and picked a table near the back to avoid his whiny paranoia about being followed, or even seen.
As they sat down they recieved 'Aw's and 'How cute!'s.
She flipped through a little book of tea while she glanced up at him occasionally, "What are you going to get Kumi-chan?" She asked sweetly, suddenly amused with something. That infuriatingly secretive amused look crossing her face.

Kumizu ignored the other patrons in the cafe. "Why all the way in the back? Are you worried about-" He looked at her. He didn't need telepathy to read her face. "I'm not paranoid. There's a difference between that and keeping my guard up. I'm not looking over my shoulder every three seconds."
Kumizu looked at his menu. "I'm not sure what I'm going to get yet. Maybe a cup of coffee and a piece of pie. Haven't had either of those in awhile, really." He looked at her, again. "What?" Ayise didn't say anything. "Why that look?"

Ayise tilted her head at him, "It's almost like we're a couple Kumi-chan." After all, most of the other pairs in the cafe' were sitting close together or sucking the faces off each other. She took one of his hands between hers, "But I know you already have a girlfriend. Don't you Kumi-chan? You assume that Ayise thinks you two made it to home base but as usual of a young girl my thoughts are as clear and pure as water." She looked him in the eye, "So...is she pretty?"

Kumizu's eyes widened. "Us, a couple? Look, I explained that thing at the springs." He was even more confused when she took his hand. "Hey, no, I don't have a girlfriend. Who would I be going out with? I've spent more time with you than any other girl here."
Ha. I wish water was clear and pure, he thought sarcastically.

Ayise sighed, "Liar." She gently let go of his hand, "How awful, somewhere a girl weeps at her desertion." Just then a waitress arrived with a cup of lemon tea for her and she sipped it shaking her head as the waitress took Kumizu's order, "Tsk, tsk, tsk, Kumi-chan."
"You wouldn't need to deny it so much if you were telling the truth. Not like I expect you to, you don't have to tell me anything. It was just a question. You don't need to make something up." She waved a hand at him airily, "Can I get another cup of tea please?" She asked the waitress;
She put her cup down and raised her eyebrows at him after the waitress had left, "Besides I wasn't the one who brought up the subject of sex yesterday. It hadn't even crossed my mind until you said something." She said in a way that reminded the listener she was sharper than she seemed, "There is tons of tension around the two of us, Oh well...at least it's cute." She grinned.

"I have friends who are girls, but no girlfriend. There isn't anyone 'weeping'." The waitress came, and he ordered. "I am telling the truth. I don't have a girlfriend. Not before I came here, not since."
This would probably never end, like the sponge theory. "The reason I brought up sex was because I thought that our... situation would've looked like that. Hell, it did look like that! I was trying to clear it up for you. I didn't want you to think I was some sexual deviant."
He raised an eyebrow. Only a girl would think this 'tension' is cute. "Yes, there is a lot of tension. What shall we do about it?"

"I, I-uh...It was...none of my buisness and I...um..." Surprisingly, Ayise didn't have an answer to that or rather she'd rather not talk about it (GASP). She turned a bright red and stared at her teacup in serious concentration. "The designs on this teacup are fascinating, they must be reasonable old." She chattered in an attempt to change the conversation. She sweatdropped, "..." Her face resembled a Christmas Pattern, her green eyes contrating with her bright red face.

There were a lot of things that weren't any of her business, but she had asked, and managed to get the answers anyway. What was stopping her? She wasn't...
Kumizu pushed the teacup aside and forced Ayise to look at him. She wasn't going to use that as an obstacle between them. He was concerned, but rather... stern with her. "What's wrong?"

Ayise burst into a fit of nervous laughter, "Absolutely nothing. Oh, look, my tea is here." She sipped her tea diverting her eyes, that only lasted for so long eventually the tea was all gone and Kumizu was still looking at her,
"Why do you ask? You know everything's always hunky-dorey in Ayi~se-land!" She chirped, her face no less red than it was a few minutes ago. She pressed her fingers together to occupy her hands. She burst into more nervous laughter.

Kumizu, on the other hand, hadn't touched his order: black coffee and a piece of apple pie. He made sure to keep it far enough away so that Ayise wouldn't try to reach for it and get something else between them.
Okay, now what the hell do I do? Kumizu took her hands into his, like she had done before. "You're either blushing or the walk from the labs to the cafe took a toll on your skin. Talk to me."
