 Yuuki lifted himself up onto all fours again and started to make his way over towards the apple trees, picking one up off of the ground once he got closer to eat it quickly, licking his lips afterward. Collecting the apples and getting them back to Gin's was going to be difficult.
The urge to eat everyone of them was strong, but he held himself back and lifted up onto his hind legs to start plucking them from the trees, dropping them onto the ground to start forming a neat pile for her to scoop them up into the basket.

 And scoop them up into the basket she did! Setting it on the grass, she nosed at the apples gently (ooh, did they smell nice) to nudge them up into the basket.
After the basket was filled, with at least two dozen apples, Dolci cocked her head and nodded. "Okay, I think that's good." There were at least enough apples for her to be able to make four pies! If she sliced the apples thin, maybe more...
Nudging at the grass with one of her hooves as she watched Yuuki, she smiled demurely. Pausing for a minute and then peering up at him through her eyelashes.
"Will you carry the basket back to Gin's?"

"I wouldn't have it any other way." Yuuki smiled, snagging one more apple to eat it quickly before trotting over to lean down and bite the handle of the basket gently, lifting it up off of the grass before mumbling.
"Lead the way my lady." He stood next to her, holding onto the basket carefully so none of the apples spilled out onto the grass.
"We need to get there quick or I am going to eat all of these! The smell of the apples was driving him insane and he started to walk a bit faster, nudging her gently.

Poor Yuuki! She suddenly felt bad that all the apples were for the pie and that he couldn't just eat them all as he wanted to. Or, really, she supposed he could... but then there would be no pie.
And she was completely determined to make the pie she'd promised to him!
So Dolci did as she was told and trotted that much faster. It wasn't but a few hundred feet or so back to Gin's house. Where she would pout and pretend to cry and whimper until he caved and let them use his kitchen. She was all too happy to bake for Yuuki, because she knew how happy it would make him. And he'd already made her as happy as a pony could possibly be, it was only right to return the favor.
Now that she was with Yuuki, that they were together she couldn't quite picture what it would be like without him. Even though it was only a short time that they'd known each other, Dolci could see Yuuki being a part of her life for a very long time. She was already including him in her thoughts by default! The two of them complemented each other nicely -- where he was serious (sometimes!) she was playful; where he was grumpy (to everyone else!) she was friendly. And they were alike in the important places that things with Yuuki just.... clicked.
She was glad, in a way, that things had turned out how they had. The bad stuff, the scary things, they were worth it in the end. Because not only had she made a wonderful friend, but a partner at that, and Yuuki made her feel complete in ways she didn't even know she was lacking!
"I'm going!" she giggled loudly, moving faster at the nudge. She could have taken off running, but then Yuuki would've been left behind. With the apples. And she was sure the apples wouldn't last too long that way.
But she slowed herself down as she drew closer to Gin's house again. Maybe someday, Yuuki and I could have a house like that of our own. A house for her to bake in and a house for Yuuki to sleep in so he didn't have to lay in the grass outside.... Where they could be together (alone!) and would be free to make as many messes as they felt like it without fearing the wrath of Peophynnia. Someday... And hopefully someday soon, the idea filled Dolci with a trill of excited butterflies.
"I'll go inside first," she said to Yuuki, peering to the side at him. "I'll mention pie and then you bring in the apples. He won't know what hit him!"
And as she stepped up to the door, nose poised and ready to knock on it gently, she sighed contently. Offering one last whisper to him before leaning forward to rap on the wooden door.
"Thank you for carrying the apples, my Yuuki." The apple of my eye!~

 With a loud bang that seemed to resonate from everywhere and nowhere at the same time, a maroon coloured pony simply... Appeared, standing just outside the house the two ponies were waiting to enter.
His grey locks were dishieveled as if he had just been in a very windy part of the world and his pink-feathered wings were folded tightly against his back. His bright blue eyes sparkled with an infectious joy that simply rolled off him in waves, his unintimidating appearace- complete with pink hearts up his leg and a hip symbol to match- tended to put other ponies at ease.
At least until they realised who he was.
But he thought, for this couple, they would not mind very much.
He took a step towards them, and when he reached them, it was apparent that a small orb was held in his mouth. He dropped it at Dolci's front hooves and then stepped back. He cocked his head to the side and, as much as a pony could, he grinned.
"You're happy, right?" he nodded towards Yuuki as well, "Make a wish on this orb."
He did not stay to explain what sort of wish or what would happen or anything of the sort. Perhaps he had been interrupted? Who knew, but just as quicky and just as loudly as he came- he was suddenly gone.

Dolci's nose was poised and ready, and the first knock to the door ...... resounded much louder than she thought it should have. It made her jump back slightly, afraid she'd somehow knocked Gin's door so hard it was about to fall over...
When she heard movement behind her, she'd suddenly realized that she and Yuuki were not alone.
Her first thought? Oh Geez, Peophynnia!! I have to apologize~! But when she turned to come eye to eye with a very lovely pony she thought she'd never see again... Well...
She was shocked, to say the least.
Dolci peered mutely as Seraphim approached, and she watched with glazed over eyes as he dropped the orb at her hooves. She peered at it with a moment of curiosity, before she looked back up to the other pony.
She squeaked out a hurried "Yes! Yes, very happy!" to his question, but cocked her head in confusion. Though as much as she wanted to ask, there was no time, for in a blink of an eye..
He was gone.
"What kind of wish?" Leaning down to move her nose closer to the orb, she peered into it. As if it were a crystal ball and the answer would just magically form in front of her eyes.
"What do you want to wish for, Yuuki?"

Still holding the basket of apples in his mouth, Yuuki was just about to make his way into Gin's home when he heard a loud bang. It caused him to jump and whirl around, dropping the basket onto the ground, his first instinct was to jump in front of Dolci, he wasn't sure what was going on but he was sure he'd keep her safe and when his eyes adjusted, he let out a sigh of relief.
Seraphim was as beautiful as Yuuki remembered on the day he was created, he was speechless as he watched Seraphim drop the orb to the ground and before he could manage to get any words to come out of his mouth, Seraphim was gone.
Trotting forward slowly when Dolci did, he eyed the orb curiously, staying close to her side. "Make a wish, hmm?" Still a little dazed and confused, he looked at her for a moment before ducking his head down to nuzzle the side of her neck, mumbling quietly. "I want to be happy, with you, for the rest of my life. Me, you, and maybe a little family of our own to take care of someday."
Yuuki nodded once and smiled, waving his tail back and forth absently.

Yuuki's answer, as soon as he said it, sounded like the best wish on the planet. There was nothing else that would make her happier (other than, maybe, wishing for the biggest apple pie ever to magically materialize right in front of them!) and she nodded to him in agreement.
Her head tilted towards him, mimicking his happy tail swishing, and she replied to him quietly.
"I think that sounds wonderful. I think we should wish for that."
After only a split second's hesitation, that maybe this wasn't the sort of wish they should be asking for, Dolci nudged at Yuuki to get him to move with her as stepped up closer to the orb.
With her muzzle dipped down towards it again, she peered at the orb for a moment. Watching it again, in the hopes it would somehow.... tell her they were doing the right thing.
But she knew they were, and butterflies flittered back and forth inside her stomach, and she spoke to the orb gently.
"I wish... for Yuuki and I to be happy together for the rest of our lives, to have a family of our own." Then blinking, she leaned in just a shade closer. "Please and thank you!"

The orb began to glow a light pink, grey smoke swirled inside it and then... The orb turned to dust.
It seemed to have a mind of its own, though, and swirled through the air without the aid of any wind, wrapping itself around the two ponies. It landed here and there in their manes, on their bodies and then finally... Disappeared as if it had never been there to begin with.
Just moments later a sound akin to chiming began echoing through the air. A glance down would show that the chiming was, in fact, five shimmering orbs clinking against each other, wiggling the slightest bit every few seconds.

Amazement filled Dolci's gaze. She saw the orb. the glimmering dust it burst into, and even the set of five new orbs hovering in front of her. She saw them, could clearly look at them, but did it register in her mind what happened?
Not in the least!
She was bewildered for a brief moment, confused as to what just happened and what was currently happening. Did these new orbs mean that Seraphim had heard their wish and it had been granted?
"Yuuki...." she started, not daring to tear her eyes away from the shimmering, chiming, beautiful little swirling circles in front of her. They were pink and black and red and deep maroon and white and gold--... And they were, admittedly, the prettiest little things she'd ever laid her eyes on.
"What...?" But her words caught in her throat. The longer she looked at the coloring of the orbs, the more familiar they started to seem. It began to register in her head what they could mean and a thick lump formed in the back of her throat.
Three of them looked like her. Light pink with darker pink markings. They seemed to hover closer to her than to Yuuki.....
And the darker orbs, black with stripe-like markings... Dolci turned her head to peer over at Yuuki only to see that those two seemed to gravitate closer to him instead.
"They're beautiful." Was all she could muster in full words.

Yuuki was taken aback, he watched wordlessly as the five orbs clinked against one another, their colors and patterns very bright and vibrant.
He looked at Dolci and then towards the orbs, scrunching his face up slightly while trying to get words to come out of his mouth. "I think.. Well...Hmm.."
He nodded once, staying close by Dolci's side, ducking his head down to eye one of the orbs more closely, stumbling back a bit when he saw it wiggle.
"Dolci.. It just moved. Did you see?! It moved! They're all moving! You don't think..." The orbs did resemble both of their fur colors, the patterns as well were very familiar. Did Seraphim really grant their wish?

"I saw it!" Her words were all but squeaked. Dolci moved back, just a tad, when Yuuki did -- but she wasn't afraid. Not really, anyway.
Confused, just a little bit. And maybe fighting an inward battle between Oh my goodness, WHAT JUST HAPPENED?! and So preeeettyyy~, yes. But it wasn't a frightened sort of reaction, she was simply unsure.
They were wiggling! Even though she'd moved away, her eyes were still glued to the pink and black orbs. And almost in a rhythmic undulation, all in succession, each orb wriggled. Or rather, the innards wriggled, and the outer case twitched with the movement.
Stepping back just a bit, Dolci leaned against Yuuki. Her eyes were transfixed on the orbs, but she spoke to him quietly.
"I do think....." She trailed off just as he had, though she knew exactly how the sentence would be finished. These orbs, there was nothing else they could be. Her wish, the movement, the uncanny coloring..
She knew Seraphim created ponies from objects like she had been, but he could create ponies from other ponies?
Apparently so...
"Yuuki, I think they're ours."

"Ours..? Like..babies? Our babies?" Yuuki watched the orbs, cocking his head to the side slightly, Seraphim was the creator of all of the ponies so it was entirely possible for him to have the power to makes babies from two ponies that he had already gave life to.
He was making their wish come true, so soon, and five of them. A bit overwhelmed, Yuuki took another step back, smiling slightly. "Our babies.."
He nodded once and instantly fainted, hitting the ground with a loud thud.

"IthinksoYuuki." Her words were rushed in the whoosh of excitement that filled her. They melded into one word rather than separate ones and her chest (and eyes and throat) swelled with emotion.
Happy emotion. So much happy! She felt like she could explode; it felt very much like the feeling of knowing Yuuki was hers.
"Babies..."
But she didn't have much time to revel in the moment. To take it in and appreciate it for what it was. Because it seemed as though she'd let out a very loud and very contented sigh... and yet another unfamiliar sound went off outside of her eyesight.
Before she could think it was Seraphim back again, or Gin to finally open his door and see what was happening, Dolci had to lower her eyes to peer at Yuuki again. For he was sprawled awkwardly on the grass beside her, amidst the already fallen apples.
"YUUKI~!" Again, she squeaked and pranced around him frantically. She was careful not to bump into the hovering orbs, but she crouched down on her front legs, leaving her rear end up in the air. Her ears were perked and her eyes were wide and she nudged helplessly at Yuuki's neck.
"Yuuki, wake up! Are you okay!? Yuuki, please, wake up, wake up!"

It took a few moments for Yuuki to regain his senses, the sound of Dolci's voice and the smell of apples brought him back and he slowly opened his eyes.
Looking around for a moment, he leaned over slowly, taking one of the apples into his mouth, biting down into it before chewing slowly. "I'm fine, don't worry. I got bit by a misquito and it..startled me."
He shifted around to push himself up to rest on all fours, watching the orbs absently before mumbling quietly.
"What do you think..we should do with them?" He took a deep breath in through his nose. "Should we lay with them and keep them warm? Are they going to hatch or are they just going to..morph into babies? Do they need food?" Yuuki was wide eyed, a million questions swimming in his head.
