Daishi gave a nonchalant shrug before replying.
"I'm bored and I just happen to think beating those who terrorize others and think they're better than everyone else is fun."
He returned Maar's stare with a cold one of his own, his eyes seemingly pools of endless darkness.
"And why is that you fight?"

Maar just luaghed. "I fight, because those who are weak don't deserve to live." Maar stuck his sword in the air and started swinging it in a spiral. "I am the strongest of the gods! If it wasnt for Dracgoon's gem, he wouldnt have lived long in my training. And this is the move that would have killed him!" He ran at the, his sword still being swung in a spiral. When he got close to Elise, he quickly switched to an uppertcut slash and continued with a barrage of slashes. Vain rushed Maar, but the ground under him caved in and absorbed his legs. "What the ********?" Maar laughed as he continued to pumel Elise. "Its a little something I learned from Josh." Elise, out of desperation, quickly kicked Maar in the throat and tried to follow up with her hookswords, but to no avil. Maar's massive sword simply blocked everything and with one slash, sent her flying into the walls of the base. "You shall all rest her for ever!"

Travis appeared next to Daishi. He eyed the man with the massive sword. He raised his eyebrow and waited for Daishi to explain the situation.

Daishi gave a nod of acknowledgement to the Terren, not all that surprised at his sudden appearance and quickly sent him a telepathic message.
Maar: a god of some sort, and apparently the typical power-hungry overconfident nutcase...
As the god attacked and threw Elise to hit the base, Daishi disappeared and reappeared near him, attacking with his drawn sword and constantly moving around Maar, never staying in one place. His movements were quick as the wind, and seeing as he floated a few inches above the ground, Maar's earthquakes were useless against him.

Vain teleported to Elise and checked on her. "I know your holding back Elise, don't." She nodded and stood back up and quickly kissed Vain. Maar just luaghed. "Istnt that sweet?" He luanched another earthquake at them and returned to Daishi, still ignoring the other guy. "You MAY be a challange." He put his sword back into his holstier on his back. He then walked close to Daishi so he was right infront of him. "I'll alow you to make the first move."

Daishi critically arched an eyebrow in question.
"Since when did you have a sense of honor? Though if you insist..."
He leapt into the air, suspended by the wind just as a stronger gust went to pick up the god, to send him tumbling through the air's currents. Daishi calmly watched to see how Maar would fare in his element, his arms crossed and leaning to the side as though on an invisible wall.

"You have no clue do you?" Maar simply said as he was being tossed about in the air. He took his sword back out and luanched it intot he ground, pulling himself to the ground. "Intresting, but weak. If you think a simple wind trick can beat a god, then your duck is crocked." He just luaghed. "Vain, Elise, random stranger, don't interfear. I am getting a feeling of joy from this." Vain and Elise sheathed their swords and did what their ere told. "What are we to do?" Elise looked at Vain puzzled. "He can handle himself, but Maar has a point. Daishi is strong, but Maar IS a god. He will need help... later."

"I would've been disappointed if that was all it took...Hmm, though I must wonder, do gods need to breathe?..."
Daishi remained floating in the air as the wind picked up even further and formed a large whirlwind about Maar, sucking the oxygen from the air closest to him as well as ripping at his clothes and blowing dust into his eyes.

Maar just gave a tiwsted smile and swung his sword. "Seal of cancilation!" Everything grew calm. No wind, no sand. His s,miled died and became serieous. "My sword is more then for fighting. It also works as a spell and ability seal. I have used it in every battle." Elise grew stunned. "Thats why!" "Yes my dear. All those battles, are thanks to my sword."

Daishi shrugged as he stood in a ready position, his sword drawn.
"Then I guess I won't use spells much, that's more Takara's thing anyway...Do you think you can catch the wind?..."
It seemed that he disappeared and in less time it took to blink, Daishi was at Maar's side, slashing with his sword before once again disappearing. He continued this tactic, his speed causing him to be nearly invisible as he tried to land a fatal blow.

Maar took every slash, seeming helpless... but never once showing any sign of pain. "Fast." Is all he said as he spun around his sword, high above his head, generating a tornado. "I don't get it..." Elise proclaimed. "He never did any of these things in the other missions." "Well, you DID say most missions were finished with one sweep of his sword right?" "Yea." "Then we really have NO clue to what he is FULLY capible of." Vain and Elise just continued watching. The tornado that Maar generated was small, but quickly grew to the size of a house. He then centered his sword in the eye of it and spun his sword horizontily, anything cought in it would be rumbled, tossed, and squashed.

Daishi stood a short distance away, having simply escaped once Maar started swinging his sword.
"He does remember I've control of the air, right? He didn't seem like the type to have alzheimers..."
The air around the tornado reversed it's flow, canceling out the whirlwind and the air was still once more. Daishi calmly stood, watching his opponent as he waited for his next move.

"I must thank you. Normally, I cant stop that attack, and you seemed to help greatly." Maar knew about Daishi's abilities and planned to milk them as much as possible.
"Maybe its time we gave Daishi a hand?" Elise asked Vain. But before Vain could reply, a goat could be seen riding a cloud. And on that goat, was Bardok, Josh, Izumi, and an unkown man. They landed, then Elise relised who it was. "TENJI MAKASHI MAHASHI!" Tenji just gave a simple nod and got off his goat, followed by the elementals. Tenji gave a nod to the others, then walked to Maar.
"Tenji, why are you here? You know I can handle these weaklings." "I am here, for your soul." Tenji drew his sythe and stood at the ready. "No one interfear."

Daishi looked at Maar as though he'd never seen anyone like him, his look was one of puzzlement and disbelief that someone would do something so pointless.
So he created that whirlwind for the sole purpose of having me stop it?...All right then...
Just then, he noticed the goat and its passengers approaching. He arched an eyebrow in question but otherwise said nothing. He merely shrugged in answer to the stranger's order that no one interfere. It mattered not to him as long as they got on their way. Perhaps he'll go back after this fight if it if it appeared they didn't need him.

Maar looked shocked, but got the meaning. "Traitor." He swung his sword towards Tenji, but Tenji's mighty scythe was able to hold it back. Tenji started to swing around his scythe, slashing everything infront, in back, and to the side of him, as he slowly inched towards Maar. Maar copied Tenji's attack, only with his sword. the blades clashed and sparks were litteraly flying from the impacts. They were an equal match. Tenji quickly backed off and Maar looked at him shocked yet again. "Sacrifice." Maar and Tenji had the same idea. Tehy swung their weapons in the air as fast as they could. "OH ********!" Bardok screamed. Vain gave Elise a weird Look. "Sacrifice... their going to kill themselves, to kill eachother.. and us." "Just peachy...." "Stand behind me, EVERYONE!" Elise demanded. "Rays of light!" Shard of holy crystals formed a barrier around them all, but for good mesuere, Bardok and Izumi added their own shields. "Lightning Cage!" "Pyro Zone!"
