Passing through a series of archways, the Demon-Major, Demon-Minor, and Demon-bonded human began to feel an oppressive sense of magical pressure. As the hallway went on, they began to feel a strong sense of deja vu.
It took them about ten minutes to recognize a certain particular pattern of cracks on the wall as being very, very familiar.
That would explain the odd lurching sensation they felt every three or so minutes.

Yarah hadn't noticed anything at first, but when he started to recognize the cracks, he sighed. "Well that's annoying."

As they had taken no actions whatsoever to resolve why this was happening, they remained trapped in the looping tunnel.

Tanto realized what was going on after what seemed like a year. "It seems we have met the first level of security in this tower." A little thing like this would not keep the Demon-Major from reaching his destination. Short of being completely and utterly removed from existence - a fate that he had thus far avoided for multiple millenia - nothing would keep him from going forward.
"So how do we free ourselves?" he mused aloud. They had two options: the first would be to go back and attempt to manipulate the bodies they had seen. Tanto opted for the second.
Pulling his massive cypher blade from its place on his back, Tanto allowed it to charge up for a moment, its power whirring to life, before swinging it at the nearest wall. He appeared either unaware or uncaring of his allies' positions, and hopefully they were alert enough to avoid getting hit by either his sword or any debris that was released.

Metal charged with the slightest amount of Tanto's former divinity cleaved the stone of the wall with an ear-rending screech. Sparks flew. Then, silence.
Three minutes laters, they came across a vicious gash in the wall.

So they were stuck in a loop that took them about three minutes to traverse. That was good information.
"Let us try going back and manipulating the bodies, then," he said to no one in particular, and started walking the other direction.
