Well with you saying that it is fair that others are allowed to say that as well. I think Philly is the best but I dont go around saying it everywhere. And as for the remark about Sean Taylor? I actually take big offense to it. He was a guy who just had a kid and turned his life around from a destructive path and losing almost everything to a life that was promising even out of the NFL. And then some punks had to go and end that far too early. Plus not to mention he was becoming one of the best players for his position in the league.

the patriots were one of the most crap sucky teams back in the day
and to take one for my team, the Eagles haven't won a championship since the late 60's i think

I agree with earlier post R.I.P. Sean Taylor.
He could have been one of the greatest safeties of all time.
He was great.

In just the past decade been to 5 Conference Championship games and probably around another 3-5 over the past 40+years. Beyond that and save for the past decade and the Vermeil/Ryan years, the Eagles have basically been Bottom Feeders. But as far as I have been able to find (not much searching), Philadelphia has only had 1 number 1 overall pick and that was way way back. So at least they have never been the worst. They would have been back at the beginning of the Reid era when Reid first came to Philly, but the Browns became an expansion team and picked Tim Couch 1st and then McNabb came.

See when it gets down to championships it really peeves me off. I understand that Philadelphia never won the SB. But the SB is just a different name for the NFL Championship. All they did was change it to that name when the AFL and NFL merged together and make the AFC and NFC conferences. So when they say Philadelphia never won the Championship they are wrong. You know what I am saying?
But hey, they do have one thing no team can ever or will ever lay claim to.

Lombardi is by far the best Coach in NFL History. And he was a Packer and I don't know why but the Packers are just a really cool team. Everyone has to admit that. Even if there isn't a reason. Lol.
