I... I don't believe it! Leon thought as he looked towards the convoy, his comrades in tow... and there before him stood....

"Cap'n Dan!" he exclaimed, before rushing Anri in front of him, and forming a brief salute before he flipped several pages in his journal, finding the right ones that contained his report. He hadn't forgot, even through the chaos he'd been through, the keep record of every single detail. "I... I've got ev'y thin' here! Right 'n this document. Wanna sum'ry? I can tell ya all that happened while I was 'ere."

"We've got... reinforcements... elixirs, weapons... " Sue muttered, all the while staring in amazement. "Water and food too... all along, they were waiting... waiting to aid us."

She looked to the sky, tears of joy now pooling in her eyes. Oh, thank Father Sky! Thank Mother Earth! We're saved!

A familiar voice sprung Lance back to life. Aidan!

Lance wanted to get up. He wanted to get up so he could rush out and give Aidan a nice noggin rub. But it was impossible. His body had no strength left. All he could do was lie there, powerless. Lance would curse at his own weakness, but it would serve no purpose. He was in this position, whether he liked it or not. He'd rather not see his friends right now.

More chatter erupted at the mention of this Loki. God? Hmph. Somehow, that rings a bell. They were talking about how they needed to stop that god to get rid of all of the problems once and for all. Lance sighed. "Exactly how are they gonna defeat a god. Even if they're not real gods, they still have powers beyond comparison, and weaknesses usually don't come around often." Lance spoke to himself, muttering in his loneliness. "It's not like I can help, anyway."

Lance turned himself over, snugging up the blanket. At least, not in this condition.

Lance didn't like this. Whether he wanted to or not, he couldn't raise a finger to help. Even if he was battered and bruised, he still had some major weaknesses and almost no strengths, and he doubted this Loki character would be weak against psychological attacks. And since that was the only Lance could battle nowadays, he'd just be in the way. He sighed deeply before closing his eyes. Whatever. It's time to stop wallowing in self-despair. Get a grip, Lance. Just become what you used to be...eventually.

Amelia's eyes turned up at Loch's arrival. A grey-winged heron with a Mend staff... She would have desired his healing, but Renault's attentions from before had been more than enough to seal over her few wounds. "We're doing the best we can, I suppose," Amelia laughed quietly. She gently placed Rhys against the ground, making sure he was comfortable before rising to her feet. Even in the battered morph's armor, she held her shoulders back and back straight. She was a warrior, no matter what she looked like. She opened her mouth to speak.

"Oy!"

Amelia blinked. That voice... "Who be in charge 'ere, eh? Weapons an' reinforcemen's, now tell me wot th'fook's goin' down."

Amelia's eyes widened. She took a few steps forward, then paused and pushed her hair off of her face. "Captain...!" she half-shouted. The Watch was on their side. Thank Latona... good to know some people in Eyris still believe we're good. "Captain, I'm... I'm very sorry about the... I heard about the riot, I wasn't able to help..." she bowed her head, then lifted it again after a few moments. "I... to put it simply, I was captive in my own home. The heroes set up camp there." Amelia adjusted her borrowed gauntlet. "But I'm back, and... I need some new armor. Had to steal this off of a morph and, frankly, it smells."

Blossom stuck close to Aidan, making sure the tactician would be all right, now that he had arrived to camp, but she used her free hand to wave energetically at the newly-arrived Watch members. "You guys came to help!" she shouted. (Go ahead and state the obvious, Blossom, doesn't matter. If someone calls you out on it, then they're just being rude!) This was terrific! They wouldn't have to do this alone! "You have no idea how happy we all are to see you!" Blossom smiled brightly at Chickenwire over at the cart, taking a few steps towards him. "Hey, Chickenwire! Do you want any help?" she glanced at Aidan, then shouted, "We can both help you! Right, Aidan?"

[[Mildly edited. :D]]

So, this was where everyone was heading... looked like the entire guild all gathered in one place. Since they couldn't stay in the town, they had to find someplace outside of it to stay safe... feel bad... Annis settled on a tree branch a short distance away. She wasn't a guild member nor a Watch member, just a Learanian that thought the rest of the townsfolk were off their rockers and needed a swift kick to their collective a**. Somehow, she felt as if she would be trespassing to hop in at that point.

Annis was close enough to be seen, though, if someone specifically looked in her direction. Until then, she just observed in silence, fingers fiddling with the string of her bustier.

Roy was slowly stirring, having been carried back by his Uncle and NoMetal. He had tired himself out during the last battle, but at least his injuries were taken care of thanks to his Runesword and the problem with the morphs was handled. He was still out cold, but the words of his comrades reached him in his sleeping.

"....Fight on...zzzzzz" he mumbled in his sleep.

His stomach grumbled loudly. The young lord would need some food once he woke up.

Isadora couldn't believe it. Just when it seemed that they were at the end of their rope, someone had answered their prayers. The paladin thanked St. Elimine as she approached to the newcomers who brought the supplies.

Looking around, Isadora pulled out a Spear, Elixer, Hand Axe, and a Silver sword. Her only sword was dull and it would take time to resharpen it. Not to mention, it would waste her energy and strength. Now that they had the supplies, all they needed was to gather their strength and energy.

"Thank you." Isadora smiled to one of the Watch. "If you haven't come with the supplies, we could be finished before the upcoming battle begins."

Dan waved a hand dismissively at Leon's reports, grinning. "Dunnae 'aveta hear all that, boy. Jus' need tae know what's goin' 'ere now. Wot're we up against?" He glanced at Amelia and smirked. "Const'ble, yeh nae in trooble. We brought spare armor 'n' weapons, go take y'pick o' th' lot 'fore yeh get crowded out, eh?"

Chickenwire smirked, hopping down off the back of the wagon with a Short Axe in his hand. "Aha, Bloss'm, yeh're jus' in time! Glad ta see y'alrigh'. Think Large mebbe jus' raided the castle library, we got... not sure m'self all these books are magic," he murmured, opening a box. "Yer man there kin read right good, yeah? 'Ere," he said without waiting for a response, pushing the heavy box into Aidan's arms. "Get these out so's people kin use 'em."

Amelia nodded once, fingers already moving to unlatch the gauntlets from around her arms. "Thanks, really. Good to know my boss isn't mad at me for being nabbed by a psychotic woman," Amelia smiled. She let the pieces of armor drop to the ground, eventually standing in the sweater, shorts, and socks. They were bound to have boots if they had greaves in there, so she would be able to find a new pair.

She immediately headed for the cart, taking Dan's advice to heart. She moved past Chickenwire and into the wagon, checking what hadn't been removed yet. After a few minutes, Amelia had collected a new set of armor and protective clothing (a thick sweater did nothing to help the fact that wearing heavy armor sometimes got very hot) and exited the cart. She glanced at the cart, then disappeared into the thick trees. When she emerged again, she was wearing a set of identical armor to the other Watch members, but with the black shirt and leggings, the entire effect was much more appropriate and less mis-matched.

After a quick foray into the stock of weapons, Amelia had a quiver of arrows attached to her hip, an Iron Bow strapped to her back, and a long naginata in her hand. If she had a bow, she didn't specifically need a Javelin. "How are things in town, by the way?" Amelia asked Dan. "Has the, um, riot calmed at all?"

Blossom nodded once, her smile widening. She was sure that anyone else who met him would find him at least a little frightening, but really, he was a nice guy. Funny. Good teacher, too. Blossom watched him open the flaps of the box. "Books?" she questioned. She leaned over to peer in, then took a step away as the box was shoved right into Aidan's care.

"He can read really well," Blossom commented. "I can read some, too, but... do I need to help elsewhere?" she turned back to the tall man, clasping her hands in front of her. Oughta grab a new sword. If I was smart, I'd re-sharpen Dad's sword before I fight with it again...

"Ah, raided is right!" Victoria exclaimed, as she pulled a tome out from the stock of weapons. She couldn't believe it... one of Elmine's purest lights, hers! It was much more powerful than the Divine, heavier, but also... surprisingly much easier to aim with with. Victoria gazed upon her new tome in wonder, opening the cover... running her finger over the magic runes.

"Aura... the light more deadlier than Purge itself." Victoria muttered as she stared in almost awe. "Surely with this... and the staves I have... I can lead us... to victory."

The bard sighed softly, sitting next to his Nephew as he slept. He probably should take care of his own injuries, but the blood had stopped flowing from them so it wasn't an issue in his mind. It wasn't like he was going to bleed to death or anything.

Nils pulled his knees up to his chest, resting his chin on his knees. The bottle of elixir tapped against his flute a couple of times before falling silent, swaying due to the shift in position. Ninian probably wouldn't be too happy to see that he had been hurt (it's not like he could hide the bloodstains on his shirt), but at least he was alive and well.

... Well, mostly well. His eyes began to droop, exhaustion beginning to claim him, but he willed them to keep open as he continued to stare in the direction that he just came from. He didn't bother to move when Dan and Chickenwire arrived with supplies; Nils had all the supplies he needed if he so needed to leave and fight.

He didn't want to go, though. He wanted to stay behind.

In all the chaos, he had forgotten about FD. The bard was so concerned about the safety of his Nephew that he managed to forget about his... his... Nils couldn't even think of the proper term. He knocked his forehead against his knees, willing himself not to begin crying. He should have stayed by FD's side before, supporting him in his battle against Misura, but no, he went to help out his Nephew and the others and completely ditched FD! Now, he should have stood up, should have gone and ran back to find FD, ignoring all of the possible cries from the others... but Nils was so tired that he felt like he couldn't even move. Grief and guilt struck the bard hard as he sat there, waiting for his familiar face.

Until he saw his beloved FD, he wasn't about to move from his spot.

Leon was stunned by his Captain's lack of concern for his reports. It almost made him flinch, how strict his superior's tone was. He felt awkward to keep hanging around... this wasn't the place for their normal 'formalities', if they could be loosely addressed as those.

He urged Anri slightly forward, taking a good sized silver axe and another poleaxe for good measure from the wagon of supplies. He'd eventually dig in for new armor for Anri... to replace what he'd hastily dropped in his struggle with Jyoti.

Examining the axe, he faced his superior again, dropping all the small talk. "Sir, they be exiles 'o Eyris. We be havin' skirmishes wi' th' morphs... we brought back captives from them "Heroes"... An' we set this up as our camp. From what I be hearin', th' Dancer of 'em be gone..." his voice fell into a hint of sorrow upon that mention, and his eyes drooped to a mournful state. "An'... we found out from... that Sage Octavio that we be fightin' a God called Loki."

Sue found herself rummaging through the convoy. She was able to completely replace the elixirs she'd used in the last battle, and get herself a new silver bow; she'd left her other one back and Eyris and doubted it stayed in that one place due to the riots and looting that came along with them.

The nomad trooper also took her fair share of the food rations, devouring things that were... anything but meat. Cheese, crackers, bread, fruits, veggies. She was greedily gulping it down as if she'd never eaten before.

"All right, get your arses in gear, you need something, we got it right here!"

Ed had decided to come along. As she was already armed, she had proven to have some experience, able to fend for herself in the case anything occurred. She handed an item off to someone, a weapon to another, until she decided to explore. Ed had taken notice of just who was at camp and wanted to check up on everybody.

From what she could tell, everyone was already occupied with something or someone. Ed noticed someone conked out cold and examined the person (weird, looked like a morph) before quickly scurrying off to check up on others.

And then she saw a figure in white robes on the back of a horse standing a ways off.

"Hey!" she shouted, eyes wide with realization. The girl dashed over and yanked the unconscious mage off the saddle, placing him on the ground. "Soren, where in the fluxing seven domains of the devil have ye been!?"

And then she saw he was, well, UNCONSCIOUS and gave off a huge sigh. "Real funny... You better wake up soon, mister. there's a battle coming up don't you know?"

Ed picked him up and put him in a tent that looked to be meant for those recovering from injury. As she performed that task she noticed Malachi chittering and following. "Oh hey, little guy! Haven't seen you in ages either, nope." She set him down on the mage's chest and scurried out.

Soren remained nicely unconscious.

Fa being as tired as she was, was sound asleep in the convoy back to camp. Fa had her little cape covering her up and soundly dreamed of the haven in the desert and wished she could bring her older brother Soren with her.

Ninian sat in silence as more and more people arrived. Her thoughts wandered as she held Brisecshal, running her fingers over the fabric. She looked up--

Roy. He's safe. She smiled, relieved. He was asleep, but he was mostly unhurt. And Nils, too--her brother was safe.

But for how long?

They couldn't stay like this forever. They had to return to Eyris. It was their home now, for the most part. What would the cost be to reclaim it? Already one hero had lost her life. Could they defeat this Loki?

She watched Roy, peaceful in his sleep. Her gaze lingered. After a long moment, she look down at the sash.

Could she bring herself to fight? Could she--could she kill someone? Take away their life, just because they were on the opposing side?

She smiled sadly. She agreed with him--she abhorred fighting. Ninian knew the only way she would or could ever kill someone would be if that person did something terrible to her family or her friends, and even then she would only be acting in the heat of anger.

The light bouncing off the fabric formed colorful patterns. Her eyes found the source of the light--the fire burning brightly. She stared into it, watching the flickering flames.

Her mind showed her the image of a man, cloaked. She stiffened, freezing. Glowing eyes, cold and cruel, and a gait that moved the man towards her, an arm reaching, grasping.

Her eyes widened.

He smiled, the image no longer just the fire but a nightmare come to life inside her head. She stood up, hands clutching Brisecshal. Flickers of memory fought for attention, memories she would much rather have forgotten.

Without a second thought, she turned and ran into the forest and away from the fire, not looking back.

Sorry; had to get Nini out of the way since I won't be here. YOU GUYS GO BEAT LOKI!!!

"Oy... this is quite the Fiesta we have ourselves here. I better go hunt for all these people." John thought to himself as he put another cold water pack on Ephraims eye and picked up his bow and walked to see if there were any game around here that wasnt dead already. John spotted two deer and climbed up a tree for a better shot. John nocked two arrows and waited for three seconds. After the three seconds John released the arrows and sent em flying towards their pray. The First arrow hit the first deer right in the head splashing blood on the side. The second arrow pierced the Deers neck and sent em lying down on the ground. John jumped down and slung his bow behind him and hauled the two deer on his back and walked back to the campsite.
