Evelyn could only groan as she watched her mount play ‘catch’ with Isadora. It had been expected to say the least, but what was even more unexpected for her was that the creature played more than one round of the game with the woman. It was annoying witnessing her Gwyllgi play this game at such a crucial time, to the point she wanted to gag. She had to get things back on track, whether Triumph was in the mood or not. As always she had a trick up her sleeve; it was the magic she had used to tame Triumph all those years back.

As the monster chased after the spear once more and caught it, she removed her hand that was pressed against her shoulder and brought it to the creature’s side. “You will OBEY,” she hissed as her hand sparked with purple electricity that was then transferred into Triumph’s body. As the magic seeped into him his eyes began to glow purple in color. Control had been regained; for no monster could break the complete control of her magic. Such technique made it no small wonder why she possessed the name Beastmistress.

“Stop, and turn,” Evelyn said flatly. Without fail, Triumph did as she commanded and stopped to turn at the knight that was now charging them. “Break the spear.” Triumph’s eyes continued to glow purple as his teeth crunched down on the spear; easily breaking the metal weapon in two. A demented smirk spread across her face as she returned to her upright seating position; no longer having to worry about her mount goofing off in the heat of battle. Her tome Chizakura was still clenched tightly in the weakened grip of her left hand, while her right hand was covered in the blood from her shoulder. Blood; she smirked as a thought came into her head. She could use the substance to make summoning more effective.

“Dodge!” The order came, as Triumph avoided the knight’s charge at the last minute and put some distance between the two. It was time to get back to work and do as she had planned before Triumph had decided his own plans. Evelyn flicked her arm to the side, sending droplets of blood spraying onto the ground, as her hand crackled with electricity again. Her arm once again did a sudden movement as she proceeded to point to a select spot on the ground. “Portal,” she mumbled as the lingering darkness from her previous attack began to gather in the spot due to her order. Things were different this time though, for when the darkness gathered it didn’t bubbled and rise up to take shape as it had before. This time the dark energies sunk into the ground, creating a gapping hole that seemed to be bottomless in the area they were fighting.

“Fiend of darkness; rise up!” The air seemed to shiver as the hole continued to expand and toxic gases started to seep out from the hole. The gases covered the ground with a dense purplish fog; a fog that could poison if breathed in. The fog kept mostly by the ground though; rising no further than a foot above the forest floor as it continued to roll out of the hole. The poisonous mist then billowed up suddenly before a clawed arm reached up out of the darkness and gripped the edge of the hole before hoisting its entire body out so that the world could behold its might. By then though, Evelyn had turned tail and run from the fight, leaving Isadora and Jin to deal with her new creation. As the creature rose up, it lifted its head up high and roared. DRACO ZOMBIE!

A white wyvern flew stationary in the air, above the battle. It was a relatively small wyvern, as far as wyverns go, but still a wyvern nonetheless. Atop the wyvern sat a somewhat young girl with orange hair, and typical Bernese female red armor. She had first come from Eyris upon orders from her captain, a fearsome woman with significant sized cleavage, though that only puts it lightly. Her orders were to find where the FEF members were, and then report back to the castle immediately. She was told that it was too dangerous to stay out for too long, even if she was in the air. Danger was everywhere.

The girl had flown to Fefga's manor, but kept her distance, after a few arrows nearly struck her mount from the sky. Recognizing nobody, and seeing only strange soldiers she had never seen before, she decided that the most strategic move for anybody trying to escape would have been to head north, and try to get to the mountains. After a few minutes, she began to see what looked to be like a battle underway. She soared around, staying high up, to not bring attention to herself. As the battle kept going, the girl began to notice figures that made her think they were of FEF. Her thoughts were confirmed once she spotted the fire dragon. There was no way one could mistake him for another. Not even a... No, it couldn't be. The girl's eyes widened at the sight of a dracozombie emerging from the ground. She shrieked somewhat but caught herself, and put her hand over her mouth.

"...I.. I must inform the captain!"

With that, the red-headed dragon rider turned her mount and flew back in the Direction of Eyris, to make it back to castle Learania. She had to report back as soon as possible. There had to be something her captain could do. ...Unless the rioting citizens had other plans.

Leon didn't even see it coming. Did that idiot thief try to hit him on purpose now?! Not that thinking did him any good while blacking out. At least Anri didn't get 'ny more hit... m'armor saved 'im... those were the only words left in his mind before he slumped over, completely unconscious on his brown war horse. By the looks of it, the knight wasn't going to be seeing the light of day for a while.

"What?" Sue too was confused by the direction that the coin's charge was going, to find it right under her ally. Lance was a morph! He was probably one her side? Or... maybe not? He looked like he had that look on his face that meant he made a miscalculation.

Either way, Sue couldn't let an unconscious cavalier stay near a magic user for long. "Get out of here!" she shouted. Swiftly, she herself whipped Anri into action from Andre with her bow, making the steed rush forward into more forest terrain. Hidden in the trees.. at least Leon would be safe for a while. At least...

"...What the heck is THAT?"

Jin spoke more to himself than to Isadora, and any Joe Learania could see that it was a dragon. And, well, a zombie. Therefore, a Zombie Dragon, or perhaps even a Draco Zombie. Definitely one of the two.

Either way, it was freaking huge! Freaking huge, and all he had were these stilettos. They served well enough for frail human flesh, but the corpse of a dragon, with no specific weak points?

"This is beyond my skill," he told Isadora, shaking his head.

But then his head turned toward the Fire Dragon... Misura was busy fighting him, and Rhys was only standing off in the background with a staff. He wasn't sure WHY Rhys was simply standing in the back while his opponent was clearly no spellcaster (and therefore likely vulnerable to spells), he wasn't about to question Rhys' standing around. After all, it gave him a plan...

"No, wait," he said. "Dame Knight, hold a moment. I'll go get Rhys for this."

Before she could reply, he was off. The flames had yet to form a complete wall of fire, and though it was quite hot making his way through the Flametongue-infested wood, he could still slip by with room to spare, making his way toward the Bishop.

"Rhys!" he shouted, pointing behind him at the behemoth undead.

--------

Rhys understood perfectly. He'd heard from Amelia personally--Magvel monsters, even the fearsome Draco Zombies, could NOT stand a Bishop's holy magic. These were servants of the Demon King, after all, and as such light magic was perhaps the best way to smite these damned fiends.

He wanted to question what Jin was doing with two knives and no staff, but now was not the time. He passed off his staff to Jin and ran to Isadora. Misura wouldn't stop him--she had the Fire Dragon to deal with first. She tried to pull a fast one, and she'd just get roasted before she got close.

"Isadora! Hang on!" he shouted, firing a Shine at the Draco Zombie.

Target: Draco Zombie

Status: Enemy of St. Latona

TERMINATE!
TERMINATE!
TERMINATE!

...Is probably what the Shine magic was thinking as it slammed into the dragon's thick hide, corrupted flesh melting away as the magic struck it.

Shinon finally arrives at the battle.
" Damn, I always hated going through these bushes and trees, but... "
Shinon sighed and observed the scene around him. He noticed Leon unconscious on his horse that was swiftly galloping into the forest. He also saw the Dracozombie.
"What the HELL is that?"
Shinon nocked three arrows on his Double Bow and let lose a deadly barrage of arrows.

>>>>>DRACO>>>>>
The draco zombie let loose another dreadful roar as its mighty wings beat the air around it. The creature reeked of decay; this clearly evident by the noxious fumes rolling off its hind creating the strange purple fog that was traveling along the forest floor. A strange dark red liquid dripped from its wide maw onto the ground causing the places it fell on to be eaten away as they hissed irritably. Its head bore no visible eyes, only gapping black holes where eyes ought to be located. To make the creature even more disgusting, its ridiculously tough hind was ripped and tattered in many places, and in those places the creature’s bones became visible.

Another shriek sounded from the monster at the light magic ripped into its hind. It appeared to have taken a large of amount of damage from the attack, until the air around the creature shimmered and creature’s body warped back to its previously unharmed state, as if nothing had even happened. It shimmered again as the arrows bounced harmlessly off its body. The draco zombie hissed in protest as the goo continued to drip from its mouth as it turned its attention to its attacker, yet not moving from its spot as it continued to roar and disturb anyone close enough to hear it.

Rhys sighed irritably. Oh, come ON. Just ONCE, I'd like to have an attack that does more than ultimately nothing, thank you very much.

He had to admit, at least the dragon wasn't, y'know, moving or anything. Or attacking, even. How considerate. Was it interested in fighting at all? What was it waiting for.

...Hmmph. Well, if it could regenerate itself, he'd just have to make sure it couldn't!

Again, the Draco Zombie was considerate, patiently waiting as Rhys took out Nosferatu. This could be a potentially dangerous move... he'd taken quintessence from morphs, sure, but that was human quintessence, HIS kind of quintessence. What would happen if he tried taking what was likely tainted quintessence from such a tainted being? Could it poison him? Could it be lethal?

However... if he used it, he'd be taking away the creature's power supply. It might be dangerous, using this particular spell against a creature where he wasn't sure about the effects, but he had to try.

"...I'm glad you're not attacking," Rhys said, staring the dragon down and trying not to gag from the stench of rot and decay. (He'd had nothing to eat in a good long while, which made the gag reflex easier to control.) "Hopefully this will end the battle.

Drain the power source from this twisted being, Nosferatu."

A bright light concentrated from within the dragon, then exploded outward, the energy heading for Rhys' body. Unless it was drawing its power from, say, the earth around it, its power was (hopefully) limited, and if some of it went to him, then surely the Draco Zombie wouldn't have nearly as much mojo left to go on.

A small, delicate flower, fluttering in the breeze...

☼ JYOTI ☼

Jyoti twitched slightly, squirming as he was tickling her. Yes, she was a bit ticklish, and this guy tickling her was just weirding her out and making her even more irritated than before. She swung her foot forward, immediately bringing it back and slamming it against his lower leg.

"Stop it." She snapped impatiently, weakly punching his hand. She wanted this guy off of her back already!

"Time for a shocker, instead then!"

Jyoti blinked. What is he-- It was then lightning appeared, striking Leon. The valkyrie smirked, holding back laughter. "Is that the--"

"...I'M SORRY! I KNOW WE GOT OFF A ROUGH START, BUT I'M A FUN GUY! DON'T DO ANYTHING STUUUPIIIIID!"

... WHAT THE HELL?! Jyoti sighed heavily as he began to rub his head against her, wishing that she could just slap him. The ball of light split into four smaller spheres, one hovering over Soren, one over Roy, one over where she believed Sue was, and the final still over their heads. She urged Victory to turn and she rode into the trees, away from the others, Lance still attached to her. As much as she wanted to, she couldn't abandon the man quite yet. He made a rather useful shield...

Once she reached the edge of the trees, she looked up at the light orb she willed to follow before speaking. "... Now, you have ten seconds to detach yourself from me before I drop this on us." Jyoti said coldly, watching from a distance as the other three orbs of light dropped, beginning the second stage of Antaram. They probably could escape, but it didn't matter so much to her at the moment. "And trust me, it'll hurt you much more than it'll hurt me."

Okay. Lance had no idea how to get out of this situation. It was quite doomed to begin with, but still. It was amusing watching this so called 'hero' squirm around like this. It made her more...human. Being human meant you had different traits than if they were mere dolls or shadows with their past's strengths. It meant you could be manipulated in a whole different way. Her kick, albeit not exactly weak, didn't hurt much, so he didn't pay it much mind. Especially since he was about to be in a whole lot more soon.

Lance looked upwards and sighed. It was probably true that ball of light would hurt him quite a lot. If so...then why not just going mad for the last moments then...

Lance leaned in on Jyoti again and whispered in the same, creepy voice. "Is that so...I've withstood a lot of attacks in my lifetime. All from physical weapons, to illusionary attacks, to magic, even to great balls of light...what makes yours special, hm?"

Lance brought his hands down to the hero's legs and placed his fingers on her inner thighs. "But maybe it is true. Maybe it will hurt me more than you. But if you knock me out, then how are you supposed to get out from this position, huh? Or maybe..."

Lance couldn't believe himself for what he was about to do. After all, the hero was, what, several thousand years older than him? And she had been dead at some point, right? But he still went along with it. It's not like it could get any worse.

He stroked his fingers slowly up the valkyrie's thighs, and slowed down further as he started going into her crotch region. His voice was nothing more than air leaving his lungs now, but he still whispered clearly. "This is a position you actually fancy?"

He brought back his voice to normal momentarily. "You might be hurting and humiliating me for a moment..."

He quickly grabbed his hands together as he swung around, now sitting in front of the valkyrie, face to face, then he chuckled softly, imitating her earlier chuckle. "I will be humiliating you for an eternity."

As he said that, he leaned in, and quickly sealed his lips with hers, as he placed his hands along her back to definitely keep her from moving. He inhaled deeply with his mouth, stealing her breath away completely with his kiss, as he finished his not-so-subtle molestation. Using her quite obvious shock to his advantage, he then tightened his grip further, as he leaned to the right, and let gravity do its toll, making the two of them fall off the horse. Lance made sure to land on top of two of his coins that was laying close to eachother, and he activated the two of them as they landed.

"Now we're lying on top of two of my own, special crafted coins. They pack quite the punch, as you saw earlier with what happened to our armored fellow. And should I lose consciousness, they'll go off automatically. So now what? We're both in the same situation. If you decide to hit me with that, I'll just hit you with mine, which will just end in a stand still. And believe me, they'll hurt you a lot more than they'll hurt me."

Lance wasn't sure this was gonna help his cause much. But at least he got the valkyrie off her horse and into a negotiation position. Which might help a bit at least.

Though Lance had quite a weird taste in his mouth...

Oh St. Elimine that is so holy...... Isadora thought in fear as she stared at the beast before her. She would be upset about missing her blow on Evelyn. But after seeing the decaying dragon rosed from the ground, it was a different story.

She had no idea how to attack the decaying monster, let alone something so big. For some odd reason, she wished that Rath was here to eliminate this monster. After all, a dragon was a dragon and bows were the biggest weakness.

Before she could do anything, she heard a voice neared her. Turning her attention was a man who look either a priest or an assassin, informing her about getting Rhys.

"No wait!" Isadora cried to stop him. However, Jin went off. Isadora bit her lips. This was not good at all. As much as she wished to stop Evelyn, she had to stop the dragon first. After all, it look more of a threat than the Hero for now.

Wishing she had a dragon-slaying weapons, Isadora decided to hold the dragon from behind while its head was occupying in the front. Isadora placed her sword back and rode off to where her broken spear was. As she snatched her spear, she led Tuomas to the dragon's tail and stabbed her spear into the tail. This would pin the dragon for a moment.

Isadora then drew her sword and she rode off to her comrades. There must be a way to kill this dragon. Isadora thought. But how do you slay one that was already dead?

Soren was on his knees. Having allowed the spirits to channel so much energy through his body in such a short amount of time (first the rapid fire, then the cannonball, now the canceling of Antaram), Soren felt his veins and muscles were almost literally burnt out. He only held up that long in the first place because of training and his fabric wrap. The spells he had been utilizing devastated the enemy, but it was naturally at a cost to his own condition.

He remained that way when an orb of light appeared over his head. Soren turned his chin up to affix the spell in his eyes, his face as impassive as before. He was unable to summon the energy required to move out of the way. Though he commanded movement, his body was too lethargic to respond, and when he watched the orb descend he knew it was futile.

Instead, Soren bowed his head and closed his arms around something in his robe. Antaram crashed upon his shoulders.

... "Thoroughly disturbed" would be an understatement to describe how Jyoti was feeling at the moment. It was bad enough that he had his arms around her. It was even worse that he was trying to creep her out and distract her and that it was working.

And now, he was whispering to her again, causing her to flinch away, while his hands were on her thighs. She shut her eyes tightly, trying to move away from Lance. No matter how hard she tried, she couldn't block out his words or his actions. She didn't want this. Her arms were pinned, not allowing her to strike back effectively or get away. Her voice was caught in her throat, not allowing her to scream.

Misura!!

"You might be hurting an humiliating me for a moment..."

The valkyrie's eyes opened again and she found herself staring straight at Lance. Closer and closer he got, until there was barely any distance in between him and herself. His hands were on her back, firmly keeping her in place.

"I will be humiliating you for an eternity."

Jyoti visibly shuttered. "MI--" She began to shout but was immediately cut off by a pair of lips she most definitely did not want. Her eyes widened with shock and she was dumbfounded. Antaram slipped from her grip, dropping to the ground with a dull "thud". Why was he doing this? Why?!

A moment later, he leaned over and she was forced to the ground once more, inches away from the fallen tome. She could see it but not quite reach it, given the position that she was forced to be in. The valkyrie listened to his words carefully, looking up to the ball of light that still hovered over them. Should she risk it? There were others around. If he was telling the truth, she could slip into the darkness and never return. She had no idea if Misura heard her short cry, and Evelyn... Jyoti had no clue where Evelyn was.

Then again... was Lance even telling the truth? Was he bluffing? Was he...? "..."

With a quiet sigh of defeat, the ball of light over them as well as the others, waiting for Jyoti's command to turn into buds and explode, disappeared, as if they never existed.

"Stop."

The tall Heron had made his way to the brawl, and he now watched the Rogue and the Valkryie struggle. She had been fighting the man, but...something didn't seem right here.

"She may be on an opposing side..." Loch stepped forward, removing an intimidating tome from his robe. He grasped one cover, letting the book fall open by his side, and a fierce globe of electricity began circling his other hand, crackling loudly, signifying the start of a very vicious attack. Thoron.

"...but I shan't let such a delicate beauty become hurt via the course of such dishonorable methods." He raised the hand with the electricity, and the crackling became fiercer, the sparks became more profound, and Loch's face bore an expression of pure stoicness. "Your choice."

Lance couldn't believe what he had actually done. Did I just...win?

His taste of victory didn't last long, before the guy he had shot earlier with his Bullet Impact appeared.

There's always weirdoes like this...

Lance didn't exactly pay any heed to the threatening tome. Instead, he heaved himself and Jyoti up, as he chuckled at the winged man. This was probably all better for his plan, as the other person that could've helped him out was now unconscious. "Heh, yeah. I wouldn't quite use that wording, but you're right. I know it looked like something completely different, but that was actually just a plan to make her lose her guard so I could get her into a more favourable position for us. As you can see, I've managed to disarm her tome. I wouldn't dare actually hurting her, it sort of goes against my personal code, you know?"

Lance tried to shrug, but his arms was still locked around Jyoti's waist. "As you can see, though, I'm stuck at the moment. Just do me a favor, will you? Since you look like a nice guy, could you take care of that tome? I'm sure it'll come to good use. I'd be glad to get out from this position, but the key is in my back pocket. Once her tome is out of the way, you can unlock the cuffs, and we'll let her go and do whatever she wishes...does that sound okay to you?"

Lance just hoped he managed to make enough sense to the weirdo. His plan wouldn't work a second time against the valkyrie, and if she got that tome back, Lance wasn't sure what she would do to everyone (especially him).

Too much time had passed for there to be an absence of agony.

Soren slowly reassessed the immediate area overhead and realized there was no orb of light plummeting upon him. Perplexed, the disciple glanced the area and noticed the caster had been assuaged for the moment. But now there appeared to be a heron defending her. Soren gazed on at the unusual scene before him. His mind began sorting out details, but there were too few for him to truly understand what was happening.

The mage glanced once more into his robe. Malachi, the messenger bat from times past, poked its head out and knocked its nose against his chin. Soren prodded the bat back into safety and pushed himself to his feet. Perhaps he'd risen too quickly, for a momentary disorientation took over and he shut his eyes to clear the sensation. Battle was still strong and relentless all about him, he could tell — elsewhere on the battlefield, there reeked a most foul energy that captivated his attention. As he opened his eyes, Soren glanced toward the dracolich storming about.

There was conflict right in front of him as well. And as he had determined, there was a third situation somewhere, though that one was lost to him. He couldn't detect a trace of it within the area. Prodding Malachi again into the safety of his robe, Soren immediately began calculating the best decision. The Hero nearby was being offered assistance from some mysterious heron while a man (who suspiciously resembled a morph) pinned her to quite a predicament. At the same time, there was a dracolich on the battlefield.

He finally decided to remain in the current area. The others were handling the dracolich just fine, while if he departed this battle he could potentially cause an inconvenience by delayed or lack of assistance. Being caught in the middle never boded well.
