Paying closer attention to the captain than to the kido itself proved to be far more difficult than anticipated. The spectacle of twin energy orbs turning a boulder into a column of azure flame is impossible not to notice. When he heard the comment of enjoyment, Charles couldn't stop himself from nodding. The power truly was impressive . . . but his reverie was broken by the polite explanation.
After reaching up and ending the recording process, Charles also replaced his scanner with the traditional blue visor. With a deep bow, Charles tried to keep his awe out of his voice. "I completely understand, and thank you for your demonstration. The power of a Captain is truly impressive. The data will likely be quite clear and instructive. You are quite kind for giving me both your time and efforts, sir. So much so, that I would like to go and analyze that data immediately. With your permission, sir . . . " Charles began to leave, but takes his time to give opportunity for the captain to object. The unfortunate truth is that he could still have a bone to pick with Charles for the trespassing. Best not to push his luck any further with impertinence.

"Well I hope you got all the data you needed. If you still need more feel free to bother my vice captain about it he needs something to do." Yamoto smiled as he turned away from Charles and began to walk back towards the main area of squad 5. The captain began to yawn as he was still tired from his incomplete nap. "I guess I should go find a nice shady spot to lie down." The captain looked around and found a nice big soft patch of grass under a tree. "Ah that will do nicely." The captain sat down beside the tree and slowly drifted to sleep.

[hours after]
The woman strode forward quickly drawing her blade, these dummies where meant to be attacked by Bamboo Shinai or practice Kendo Swords. Instead she simply walked forward alone here at the highest peak of the night. It was her first night here in this squad and as a fully fledged Shinigami. With one quick motion she seemingly blurred from view and appeared a half second later just a few feet away from where she had been originally standing at a full tilt sprint. The dummy in her mind became the captain standing with his back to her and with another swift motion she ducked and rolled past the dummy at a low crouch with the blade shoved up through the dummies groin and the blade was reflecting the moons light out of the targets shoulder. Pausing as her head was bowed, she had stabbed the target with her back to it. Lifting her head she kicked up off the ground leaving her blade in the dummy , she landed on it’s head then again she kicked off this time putting all of her weight into her leg to kick the dummy off of it’s stand, it smashed against the ground as she flew up into the air performing a graceful back flip, her head tilted back to see the ground and she kicked off against the air and a small circle of dust kicked off from her boots as she flowed through the air and landed a few meters away from the target landing in another low crouch. Her arm held back with her fingers curled as if her hand became clawed.
Spiritually she was pulsing and it was pouring from her as if she was in an actual fight. She screamed and charged forward with her hand balled up and a small amount of spiritual energy had been focused in the palm of her hand. As she reached grabbing distance of the target she pushed forward and a ball of energy exploded from her form as her entire body erupted into blue flames, ”SHO!” and in an eruption of splinters the target finally exploded as her body dove and rolled grabbing the blade and sliding to a stop just a meter away. Screaming again she dove forward stabbing the blade into the stump of where the dummy used to be tied down into spot. She growled as she slashed at it until there was nothing left but a nub.
Standing finally she tossed the blade aside breathing heavily. Letting her head fall back she stared up at the sky as the blue flame finally stopped flickering from her body. Looking down she curled her arms over her chest and again her body erupted into flames and her body slightly levitated from the ground as she began to focus her spiritual energy, then within a matter of seconds she screamed again and a wave of energy erupted from her body.
Falling to the ground on her hands and knees she panted heavily and sweat dripped from her forehead, nose and chin. Looking up her eyes where glowing a pale blue standing she growled again and bolted towards her Wakazashi picking it up and disappearing into the shadows of the training ground. Her eyes could be seen bouncing along quickly as she skirted the shadows, blurring from shadow to shadow with a fluid grace of any assassin.

The captain had arrived late on the scene, so he was able to catch the eloquent display of killing. "Well now I have to go get another dummy won't I." Yamoto watched as the girl displayed her prowess in the art of killing and was very impressed. However he was more interest in the blue aura the girl was giving off. Fresh out of the academy and she giving off enough reiatsu to be seen by the naked eye. A smile came across the captain's face as he watched the girl take the perfectly carved wooden dummy and reduce it down into a stump. "She seems like she ready to fight." As soon as the words escaped the captain lips Alex was in the shadows of the trees that surrounded the training area. "Very well I accept the challenge."
Yamoto appeared next to the dummy Alex had just destroyed. I wonder if she was picturing me while she was carving this thing up, cause if she was I might have fun with this. The captain looked around the area to see where his new squad member was hiding. "You are very good at cloaking yourself using your surroundings, but we didn't come here to play hide and seek. "So if you want to strike before I start systematically burning every single hiding spot around me now would be the time to do it."

Pausing in the shadows her glowing eyes and the flames flickering from her body could be seen looming hauntingly in the distant shadows. As soon as the man spoke out to her the flames went out, and her eyes vanished from the shadow and it felt as though she where attempting to silent her loud spirit. It wasn’t working very well and it was easy enough to sense where she was, but for someone of her level the rate at which she was circling the parameter of the light would throw any student soldier off. In a way her large spirit left a trail which would also throw off lesser Shinigami and Hollow alike which was obviously a trick she had memorized from the academy.
Then her body paused.
Within that half second two glints of a blade slashing at a tree could be seen and then the sound of the blade being snapped back into its sheath. Again she bolted forward and without warning her body came hurtling out of the shadows holding two branches, both where cut diagonally on either side resembling primitive wooden spears. As she charged forward her feet carried no sound as they slid across the ground towards the captain with lethal speed. As she drove forward her spirit spiked and again she erupted in blue flame and within that same second Kidou energy formed around her hands.
I’ll show you who I am captain!
Jumping she kicked her feet up and spun head over heels performing two head over heel front flips and as she did so she shrieked throwing both spears at the man, one at his head and the other at his groin and then another explosion of energy was heard, ”SHO!” and with that the spears vanished from the naked eye and like bullets whizzed at the captain both capable of tearing his head from his shoulders and ripping his organs from his gut.
Landing with a near silent thud her blade was already drawn and curved away from her body held at her side with the blade pointing away from the captain. Without even another moment passing she leapt forward slashing with the blade in a reverse grip at his, would be, chest. Following through with three more slashes, two at either knee and the last slashing up from his groin to his nose, finishing the attack by flowing into another attack by leaping at his form.

"My my, such ruthlessness." The captain smiled as he watched the first of the series of attacks fly towards him. He was impressed by Alex's strategy of increasing the speed of the wooden spear by using Hado # 1., however he was rather uncomfortable with the area that one of the spear was heading. She must really hate me, well I guess I have to get serious then. It was true that the spears were traveling at incredible high speeds, but the captain was still able to see them. When both projectiles were close enough to Yamoto, the captain position his hands. The right hand was at the captain face with the palm facing the left, and the left hand was at the groin level with the palm facing the right. "Push." The timing was perfect as both spears were hit by the spell. The spear that was intended for Yamoto's head simply flew over his left shoulder, and the spear intended for the groin passed by the captain's right hip. Yamoto turned to see both spears pierce the ground to the point where only the blunt sides of the projectiles could be seen.
"Whew..if that had hit...." Yamoto didn't have time to finish his sentence as Alex was on the attack again, but this time it was close combat. The first of her attacks was aimed at the captain's chest. [Well this could be bad. Yamoto countered by pulling his sheath from its side and allowing the blade to hit the holster instead of the captain flesh.
The next attack was at the Captain's knee, in order to immobilize Yamoto. Yamoto used the sheath once again to block both slashes. It was a precise way of blocking see as the captain sheath was made of sturdy fired oak which could withstand most steel attacks.
The final attack was aimed for Yamoto entire torso. "Again with the groin shots." Yamoto jumped back to avoid the upward slash and just barely made it. "Whew now that was close." The captain stopped as he watched a few stands of hair fall off his head. So she did get me, impressive. The captain smiled as he put his sheath back beside his left hip." It was his turn to be on the offensive, so it time to have some fun. "Hmmmm, what to do, what to do?" Yamoto studied Alex for a moment, and the smiled. " I guess I could start off that way."
The captain scoffed as he grabbed the hilt of his zanpakuto with his right hand. "Let's begin." The captain drew out his sword and slashed horizontally threw the air in fluid motion. The effect was a curved reiatsu wave that flew towards Alex. The wave was capable of slicing threw human flesh and bone even if it just was reiatsu.
"I'm not finished yet." The captain was already behind Alex in a low striking position. His grip on his zanpakuto was reverse so he could get more swing on the blade as he aimed for the girl's hip area. The captain had also reinforced the metal of his zanpakuto with his own reiatsu causing the edge of the blade to be sharper than normal.

As the Captain made his moves Alex already bolted towards him moving in to attack then at the last second his blade sang a sharp tune and a hiss of energy came screaming in her direction, exhaling sharply she ducked with her legs spread wide, and her eyes shot wide realizing the man had vanished and without even hesitating fell down performing full splits and slamming her chest against the ground. Her body contorted as she rolled back into a three point stance her blade hummed as she had slashed at the mans knees again while she flipped to her current stance. Inhaling sharply she jumped forward jamming the blade just an inch above his belly button.
Just five seconds passed and the air from there attacks pressed away from where either stood kicking up dust. Noticing this she pulled her blade back and performed a quick backflip kicking dust and dirt into the mans face in hopes to blind him if only for a short period of time.
The woman landed and let her body like liquid slide into a full crouch and an explosion of spirit energy she leapt into the air over the captain raining down a handful of slashes at his neck and jaw each jam packed with as much energy she could throw into each attack. Then finally she landed behind him, her body twisted as she flew over him and when she landed Alex was still facing the Captain and still slashing at him relentlessly, each attack was getting stronger and stronger as she began to become engulfed in blue flame.
With each attack she grunted.

"Good." Yamoto watched as Alex was able to dodge his blade with a very flexible move. Yamoto smiled as the her blade came for his knees. The captain placed both his knees to the ground and leaned back causing the back of his head to touch the ground while Alex's blade buzzed an inch away from his body. The captain leaned his body forward causing himself to be upright once more. Of course the was no break time as Alex was already on her next attack which was aimed for Yamoto's abdomen. The captain pushed on his right leg causing his body to roll to the left barely avoiding the attack. "Whew that was..." Yamoto words were cut off as dirt flew into his eyes.
The burning sensation didn't last long as the captain quickly rubbed the dirt out of each socket, but like always Alex was already attacking this time from above. Yamoto sighed as he parried the slashes using his own sword. He watched as the girl flipped over him aiming for his back side. The captain still on knees pivoted on his left knee causing his front side to face Alex instead of the back. His sword was up just in time to block the first slash. The second slash was also blocked by Yamoto, but the captain began to notice that Alex's attack were becoming stronger and faster with every swing. "So this is what I was seeing before." To avoid anymore of the slashes Yamoto pushed of his right foot and leaned back causing him self to do a one handed back handspring on to his feet and slightly out of range of the attacks.
"Is she really just out of the academy." The captain knew it to be true, but he fighting skills were that of a third seat if not a new vice captain. She could take down most of the seated officer in any squad. Yamoto sighed as he brought his blade down to his side. He waited for a moment and then sighed once again as he sheathed his blade. "I guess I can't relive the glory days of when it was just me and my blade against you can I." Yamoto looked at the ground for a moment, and the back to Alex. His eyes showed an intense desire to hurt and kil,l something that usually came out when a shinigami held a blade, but not with Yamoto. The captain had given up the desire to slash things into tiny bits long ago. His sword was used for used for precise kills, but that method wouldn't work with his opponent. By putting away his sword Yamoto was switching to a more ruthless method of combat, unarmed kido.
The captain tapped his right foot on the ground once. Immediately the ground under Yamoto collapsed into a small crater sending smalls and medium sized rocks into the air. Instead of falling back to ground like normal each rock that had been unearthed stayed frozen in midair. This was a result of the captain reiatsu influencing the elements around him. "I count around 60 rocks ranging from a cm to about 5 inches all pointing towards you." Yamoto raised his right hand and extended the hand's index and middle fingers. "Hado 1. Push." The ground below Yamoto collapsed even further as Yamoto sent all 60 rocks at speeds impossible to see with untrained eye towards Alex. The rocks were capable of ripping through the human body as if it were a knife through butter.

Koichi arrived with his captain at the training fields for the fifth division, a site battle worn and torn from various fights that had been fought between it's squad members. Koichi felt slightly overwhelmed by the greater people whom had trained here before him, "Hm~" he said taking in a deep breath. He then turned to his captain, "So, Taichou~, I figured you are going to hammer me down." he said a bit sarcastically, "I guess you'd like to see how I fare against strong opponents in a situation of dire need." he added. He let out another sigh, "Kidou, zanpakutou..." he said, "Both I would consider my self lack-lustre at... But I'll show you what I know to the fullest extent of my capabilities." he said as he turned to face his captain.
There was a bit of silence between him, he was a bit conflicted, should he give his captain the first hit he would be at his mercy for the rest of the battle, so in a bold choice Koichi moved first with sharp movements. Pointing his left pointer finger at Shiboo-Taichou, "I'll start with something simple, although against you I'm guessing it'll be a wasted effort..." he said, undermining his own ability when compared to a captains. The energy in his pointer finger solidified into a tiny bullet sized ball of blue lightning, "Raikōkyū!" he said firing the tiny bullet, a perfectly executed one which he had learned from Hayashii-Taichou. The tiny ball zipped quickly across the field towards Shiboo-Taichou, carving a trail in the earth behind it.

The captain smiled as saw the eagerness in the boys eyes. "Not giving me a moments rest, you really are intriguing." The captain's grin widened as he saw the first attack come out of his vice captain fingers. Kiisho gave you more than the just regular kido training.... Yamoto smiled as he rotated his entire body to the right. The kido bullet zipped by the captain and flew off towards the forest. "Very nice." Yamoto was impressed by Koichi skill with manipulating kido. "However your choice of attack would be better....." The captain appeared behind Koichi with his right hand's index and middle finger an inch away from Koichi's neck. "If it were used up close like this. Hado 4. White Lightning."

Koichi smirked as his attack missed, "I guess these kinds of techniques would be best if used at a close range..." he said as his eyes peeled open to the sound of his captains voice, which was now behind him. Koichi's smile faded and his face had a look of seriousness painted over it, "Just as I thought, you don't plan to take things easy." he said noting the hadou that would pierce his neck if he didn't act quick. He quickly dropped to the ground in a crouching position, his back still turned to Shiboo, "Bakudou number twenty-one, Senkienton." he said placing his hand firmly on the ground expelling a large red smoke cloud which engulfed him and Shiboo-Taichou, once the cloud fully spread he brought his right arm to his left shoulder, pointer and index finger extended. He let his reitsu build up around him then in a split second vanished inside the cloud of red smoke, "Bakudou number twenty-six, Kyokko." his voice echoed through the cloud of smoke. He moved slowly through it since this was a bakudou he wasn't good at holding, but it didn't really matter since in a moment or two he would be making another attack on his captain. He moved behind Shiboo-taichou, "Is this close enough...?" he thought silently to himself, mocking his captain. He pointed his hand at his captain's spiritual energy signature, "Sprinkled on the bones of the beast! Sharp tower, red crystal, steel ring. Move and become the wind, stop and become the calm. The sound of warring spears fills the empty castle!" he knew his words would be inaudible, not only that, but he knew it would be unexpected. "Hadou no rokujuusan, Raikōhō!" as he uttered the final syllable the energy surrounding him shattered bringing him back into the sight of his captain as well as his captain into his own, he had placed himself just one foot away from his back, which he was quite happy with since he had no clue where he was when he positioned himself for the attack due to the effects of Kyokko. There was a split second of silence just before the energy exploded from his hand violently accompanied by a loud 'boom' which sent the ray of lightning towards his captain at an alarming rate. The entire counter attack took a matter of seconds, although in Koichi's mind it took decades to set up. He had shown a higher display of kidou usage just now, but was afraid of running out of tricks to soon, so his next move he decided would resort to kidou ten and under with a bit of physical attacks mixed in.

(Sorry it has taken so long my will to rp has slowly been dropping, but that is no excuse)
Yamoto held his breath as the cloud erupted around him. I hate this damn technique......and there he goes with 26. It was a technique people had started using a lot against Yamoto these days. A rather annoying tatic if you ask me Unfortunately it was a very potent combination, cutting of his eye sight and hiding reiastu signature was the best way to slow Yamoto in a battle. Now lets see if I were going to sneak attack where would it come from? The captain smiled as he jumped to right just in time to avoid the hado spell that Koichi had cast. Hado 63.....god lord is he trying to kill me? The thought made the captain smile even more because he had just tried to kill Koichi himself. Well close combat kido won't work for me in this situation. I guess it is time to go long range.
Yamoto jumped upward and out of the red cloud. He began to solidify reiatsu under his feet allowing him to stay in mid air as if he was on a platform. The captain let out the breath he had been holding in all this time. "Wow if I had to hold that in for much longer I might have passed out." Yamoto looked down and surveyed the area, and frowned because he could still not feel Koichi reiatsu. "Hey Koichi I am about to rain down some hell, so don't die okay." Yamoto held both hand out and pointed them straight down to the ground. ""Ye lord! Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Truth and temperance, upon this sinless wall of dreams unleash but slightly the wrath of your claws. Inferno and pandemonium, the sea barrier surges, march on to the south. Hado 31 Red Fire Cannon and Hado 33 Blue Fire Crash Down" Both hands released one of the spells Yamoto had just casted and both were aimed for the general area that Koichi had fired his last spell.
