"I'm not leaving!" Nino declared. "Isadora, you don't have to sacrifice yourself, ok? We got away from all of that when we left Elibe. That's not the kind of world we live in! We'll leave together!" Watching her walk towards the laguz, Nino began to panic. She shook her head. No one would die for her today. Nino ran up to Isadora's horse and pulled on the reigns, trying to make it go the other way.

"Isadora that's not the kind of world we live in! That's not what I want! I don't see a reason you have to fight him, he said we could go!"

The raven glanced back at the door, then turned his head back to face Isadora. "Rhys and Amelia are safe and being taken good care of, okay? We haven't hurt them. If I wanted to hurt them, I wouldn't have saved them from the light show back there, yeah? Look, Teifi's gonna be here soon and she wants us to keep an eye on Amelia for her. And Rhys... that other guy? Carrot-top? He surrendered." Castello shrugged, turning a bit.

"We just want a swank place to set up and stay. That Mika chick's got some plan or something, I dunno, but your friend's got the right of it here. You can't stop us, so you're really better off turning around. Maybe we'll invite you over when we're settled in," he added with a wink, leaning back against the door frame and inspecting a loose thread on the cuff of his sleeve.

He looked up after a moment. "Oh, we're done here. You can go."

Nino nodded towards Castello and looked up pleadingly at Isadora. "Thanks..." She muttered to Isadora. "But we really should go if we want to stand a chance later..." She let go of the horse and backed away.

Before she gave her reply, she felt her horse being tugged. Looking down on the side, she saw Nino pulling the reins, struggling against her horse to turn the other way. She saw Nino looked up to her and shouted.

"Isadora that's not the kind of world we live in! That's not what I want! I don't see a reason you have to fight him, he said we could go!"

"Nino....." Isadora stunningly spoke. Her expression then became softer and frowned. She knew she didn't have a reason to fight with him if neither didn't wish to fight. In addition, both she and Castello said that they could leave in peace too.

Somehow, after hearing Nino being satisfied of Castello's answer, she heard her that they should leave. Isadora would love to leave in peace. However......

Isadora got off her horse and turned to looked at Nino. She then gave a hug to her, praying that the captain would understand her reasons and feelings. She whispered into Nino's ears. "I'm sorry, but I'm afraid I have to break our motto of 'Together We Ride'. As a knight, it is my duty to protect the superiors, the people, and the country."

She quickly threw Nino onto her horse and fastened the straps around one of Nino's ankles to the stirrups. Isadora pulled the rein to turn her horse around to face the forest and gave a hard slap on the side to make her horse raced into the forest with Nino. She knew it was useless for Nino to make her horse obey her. After all, she had trained her horse well to obey her.

Once she saw that Nino and her horse were out of sight, she turned around to face Castello. Not liking the situation, Isadora casted her sword onto his feet to show her sign of surrender. She mustered up her courage to speak, despite her pride of refusing to give up. "Very well. It seems I have no choice but to surrender........ I wish to see Rhys and Amelia before speaking to Mika or your leader."

Nino had been forced on the horse and the horse ran. "ISADORA!" She yelled. She attempted to make the horse stop, but she hadn't ridden in long time and on top of that, the horse refused to recognize Nino as it's master. "NO! STOP! Whoa!!! Isadora No! Get me off this thing!!"

Nino eventually gave up and let the horse take her away. She didn't like this at all.

Mika awakened. Her eyes opened slowly, her mind searching for a purpose... What is her purpose...? Where is she? Why go on? Who am I?

She blinked a few times, taking in her surroundings. Oh. Still this existence. Still the same purpose. Punish them... She's in the mansion... And that means two things, seeing that she was carefully and kindly laid in a bed... She won, and someone cares about her. Someone cares... That's nice.

She got out of the bed, falling a little, at first. Her power... She used everything she had to get this mansion, and she must now keep it. Who came in with her? Those heroes? Not all of them had even arrived, she remembered. She felt like she had taken beatings for a month. She briefly wondered if she had been hit by twenty or so horse-driven coaches. She groaned.

She weakly walked to the door of the room, gaining more strength with each step. She grabbed the handle and opened the door. It must still be the same night. She began to move down the hallway. For some reason, she was drawn down the stairs... She moved deeper into the mansion. It had lost something, she thought. She would have to put a barrier of her own up, just to stop the people of the town just invading her new house... But not now. Not yet. She needed... power... She needed strength. Right now she had little strength.

Perhaps if I ate something... She muttered. She stopped talking. Her voice was hoarse... It was from the battle. All that yelling and screaming she had done had caught up with her... She moved down hallways and down staircases until she reached a familiar door into the basement.

She moved into the room. The door had drawn her down here. She managed a smile. Her face hurt. Twenty horse driven coaches? More like forty...

She moved toward the door slowly. It drew her closer. This door was the source of so much pain and so much pleasure.. It was God. Or Was Loki God? He controlled it, after all... Loki... Where is he...?

She tripped a little. She groaned. She had to get rid of this pain... It was starting to get annoying... However, she felt she deserved it somehow.

Loki was not there to greet her. But he saw his child in pain, and he wanted to soothe her. He saw his child confused, and he wanted to make the path clear before her.

The Door, by his will, swung open.

The Door is, of course, a gateway to other worlds. And now, with these worlds open before the ailing Arch-Druid, quintessence began to flow through the door and wrap around her. On all of the worlds, people died, constantly, and were born constantly. All that quintessence, from hundreds of millions of deaths... all of it was laid out before Mika. It flowed into her and was snared by her magic, strengthening her, rejuvenating her.

It was hers to use. For her betterment. For
revenge.
PostPosted: Wed Jun 10, 2009 3:19 pm

Mika stared into the door as if in a trance. The quintessence flowed into her. She not only felt as if she was as strong as before, but as if she had all the power in this world and many many others. She could use this power... To do great things. She could use this power to get whatever she wanted.

She let it flow into her. The pain was gone, she felt renewed as something better. She would use this power...

She took her fill of this energy, then tentatively shut the door... It was at this point that she realized that she could take power from the other worlds whenever she wanted. Loki wanted her to know this, and so she knows.

She smiled. And her face did not hurt. She turned away from the door and bit her lip excitedly. She knew how she would get what she wanted. She would create what she wanted.

She began to create life. Sort of. Morph after morph took form before her. It was so much easier than before! She had never created a morph on her own before, and it took so much out of her dear departed sister when she did it... And when Madriana made morphs, they took forever... But with this power! Morphs practically popped out of her hand and lived! Before she knew it she had nearly four hundred morphs standing in front of her. Would Madriana be proud of her now?

Tears stung her eyes as she looked upon her creations, reflecting on her sister. She was more powerful than her sister, and she had taken a shorter time to become so. How did this happen? Why was she so different from her own sister?

Her father. She had stopped making morphs and they were looking at her expectantly as she stood, lost in her thoughts. Her hand glowing, as she was ready to make a new creation but had stopped... Her father was not Madriana's father. Madriana's father had died... And their mother moved on. Nergal's blood flowed through her veins. Mika's father was a Dark-Druid. Madriana's father was a swordsman. Along with Loki's help, this was why she found it so much easier to be what she is. She lowered her hand. She missed Madriana. Even though her sister was so jealous, and now Mika really really understood...

She felt that if Madriana could see her, she would be more jealous... Not proud like she wanted... But if she could only talk to her, they could be happy together. They could be a family. Madriana would love her.

Mika shook her head a little. She turned to the morphs and looked them over. They were nothing but shells. They may be powerful, and it may have been extremely easy to make them but they could not keep her company... They were tools.

"Go now. The twenty of you in the front, please go and guard the mansion. Do not let intruders come in here, but call me if you do see someone. I believe we are expecting more of my friends." She sent the twenty on their way. "The rest of you... Go out and kill whom you can!"

She turned away as the three hundred and eighty remaining morphs flooded out the door. "I have something I want to do."

She turned and began to create something... better. She began to craft a new Madriana for herself... She won't be mindless, she told herself as she worked. She won't be one of those clones... I must create my sister...

Castello just blinked. "... What-- really?" She'd sent Nino off and surrendered? Jeez. He must be a hell of a negotiator, he decided. "Right, then, uh," he began, slightly taken aback by the unexpected capture of his third prisoner. He gestured to Isadora to put her arms up as he moved around and removed her belt and scabbard. He slid them around his own waist (for safe keeping?) and did a quick, informal pat-down of the dismounted paladin. "Just checking for other weapons, and all..."

Satisfied, he led her inside. "We got another surrender," he called. "Uh... go sit on the couch, I guess. I don't doubt Kyros is getting a nice meal ready, since we had to skip out on ours, so that'll be ready in a bit. Make yourselves comfortable. I guess."

He seemed to consider this. "But not too comfortable. Prisoners are supposed to be uncomfortable, right?"

Prisoners. He didn't like it. Too much like... like...

She would be the last one. He didn't want to kill anyone, but... no more prisoners.

And then he caw'd akwardly as black-haired, golden-eyed men poured up the stairs from the basement and nearly bowled him over on the way out the door. Once the tide passed, he peered outside at the two dozen or so patrolling the grounds.

"... Okay... weird."

Isadora cocked her brow by his expression. Usually, the captors would smirked or laughed when luck was on their side. However, this captor was.... surprised? Never had she ever met an unusual enemy before..... But then again, not every enemy she ran into was the same. After all, Leander was a misunderstanding villain before understanding what had happened.

Seeing that he was going to search her weapons, Isadora gave a cold look before reluctantly raised her arms. She watched him removed her belt and scabbard before reattached around his waist. As he was patted down to check for any secret weapons, Isadora warned in a low tone. "Touch anywhere further and I won't hold back."

Even though she knew he wouldn't, she couldn't help but gave him a warning. After all, she was still studying to become a lady. It would be improper and immodest of her if she let that happen.

After the search, she followed him into FEFGA's house. The house..... it felt so empty, despite the people in it. It was as if someone had died in it or no one had lived there for centuries. She bit her lips to keep it from frowning and tried not to shuddered the cold atmosphere.

Hearing Castello shouted to his comrades about his..... capture and told her to sit, the paladin glared. "Sorry, but I wish to see Amelia and Rhys first."

If Amelia and Rhys were inside, surely she would be able to find them. Just as she was about to roam the manor to search for them, Isadora heard him telling her not to get too comfortable. She rolled her eyes.

With this situation going, who would be able to find it comfortable? She thought.

Before she was about to leave the room, she heard footsteps. Wondering who it was, Isadora turned around to see men coming out from the basement. Her eyes widened with surprised. Black haired, golden eyes, pale skin. There could be one description to it.

"Morphs!" Isadora cried in surprised as the morphs exited to the front door. If she had her weapon with her, she would attack them immediately. But her sword was in another's hand and it seemed that the morphs didn't seem them. Once the passing of the morphs were gone, Isadora remained silent for a while before speaking. "Mika...... What are you planning?"

"Morphs...?"

Turning away from the topic of "Sex on the couch with Amelia", his mouth fell open in surprise as a small army of what appeared to be morphs began moving out the front door. Most headed in the direction of Eyris, but a few stayed behind to take up posts around the perimeter.

"Who's there?" He called out, recognizing one of the voices. "Is-Isadora, is that you? We're over here, on the couch."

"Ok..." Melethia thought, "Just go with the flow Melethia and he might not hit you with an arrow."

"Yeah..." She answered, "I did. So why are you here?"

Shento didn't answer her at first. After all, he didn't really know what he was doing here, either. All he knew was that he had been brought back to life, and sent into the middle of a festival, in the land that was now called just Learania. And for some reason, his actions were being controlled by some young girl. But.. then why was he here now, with his love? Perhaps something had happened to the girl. That was fine with him; he didn't like being ordered around by strangers. He'd do his duty and work well with his comrades, but not with somebody who came out of the blue. But he had to give her an answer. He didn't want to tell her that he was being forced to fight against strange people against his will. The last thing he or his love ever showed each other was vulnerability.

He looked over to who he thought was Katalis again, then slightly off to the side, avoiding looking her in the eye. "I- We... here to... to-" His sentence was cut short by the cries of fighting from the newly created morphs who rushed out of the manor to attack the trespassers. The former order that Mika had issued took effect in his head again, and he instantly arose to his feet. "I must go... You wait to me... Katalis!" And with that, he speedily rushed off back toward the manor.

FD wasn't sure what their plan against a GIGANTIC DARKNESS MONSTER was going to be, but it looked like they wouldn't need one anymore, as the beast ominously melted away. All the same, the darkness it was composed of oozed its way back into FEFGA's house - which indicated there was something potentially dangerous in the manor. "Well then... why don't we make our way to that forest and figure out what we're going to do." FD pointed. It was large enough that they could hide themselves, and close enough to see what what was happening.

"Espionage?" Victoria questioned him. "Well, I have to admit that it's a wise move..."

She then saw the hundreds of Morphs come charging out from the manor, and hid rather quickly after that. "Manakete... she muttered to the Fire Dragon, addressing him in the respectful manner for his kind. The city is in danger... we can't stay here anyhow without being discovered."

Watching all of these strange beings going out from where he was, Ziaram was...stuck being mortified, and stricken with a feeling of happiness. He hadn't had a good fight for sometime, and he figured these could gie a good fight. Yet at the same time, they were also strange since they sort of appeared out of nowhere, so all he did was stay hidden.

When Melethia saw Shento leave to the manor, she wasn't sure what to do. "I could follow him." She thought, "But I'm not sure what he is going to do if I do follow him. But if I leave I won't have my tome with me. I need to get it." With that Melethia ran to go get her tome. As she ran she noticed the morphs. "s**t!" She thought, "Morphs! I hate those things!"
