Karoku lifted a hand up to his cheek and rubbed for a moment, chuckling as she apologized. He brushed a strand of hair from her face and continued to put more of his energy into her body until she was able to move about. "I told you not to wear yourself out. They'll live long enough for you to heal them later." He smiled warmly as he looked down at her. He cut of the link between them, halting the flow of his energy into her, and sighed with relief that she was ok. "You had me worried for a moment." He chuckled some more, letting his smile widen, revealing his fangs slightly.

Smiling slightly, Enya flushed pink to her roots, something that was highly noticable due to her pale skin. "Well... I... they were in pain..." She explained, glancing away and towards Fenrir. Seeing this as his cue, Fenrir reached out and snatched Enya away, clutching her to him with a very possesive look on his face. "Alright you've ensured she'll be OK, and she will be, so now I'm going to set up her sleeping bag, far away from you. OK? OK. Buh-bye now." Fenrir said rapidly as he backed away from Karoku, and then he turned on his heels and started walking towards the cave's far wall, while a slightly annoyed and amused looking Enya waved over his shoulder.

Rhia couldn't help but chuckle at their bickering, although she attempted to hold it back to be polite. She could tell they had been traveling together for a long time, and their arguments seemed habitual more than anything else.

"I'm glad you've decided to accept my offer," she said to them both, her smile flashing, "It isn't too far from here. Just follow me."

Rhia began to walk, glancing over her shoulder to make sure they were both behind her. The crowds in the streets had thinned somewhat, she noticed, although it was still relatively early in the evening. A few clusters of friends and families could be seen strolling down the sidewalks, joking and laughing. It made Rhia feel comforted somehow, although she didn't have many friends in Muirmor herself.

"So where were the two of you planning on going before our paths crossed?" she inquired conversationally, curious to know more about her new escorts.

Karoku shook his head and began to laugh slightly to himself. He placed his hand on his head and sighed. Now he was a little tired, but that was fine. He went and sat down by the fire and began to chat with his pack. Something he hadn't done in a very long time. When everyone else was ready for sleep, Karoku went to an isolated part of the cave, wanting silence and solitude from his pack. He looked outside into the rain and yawned, but found himself unable to sleep. He could hear the rain pelting the ground and it had always calmed him before, but right now, it just couldn't. He wanted to turn into a wolf to sleep as the others were doing, but he had something to fear if he did so.

Sitting on the sleeping bag that Fenrir had laid out, knees pulled to her chest, Enya watched boredly everyone else moving. "Fenrir?" She questioned, and said wolf paused in his actions of making himself more comfortable, turning to look at her; he knew those words, she always used them when she was about to spill her mind. "Hmm?" He asked her, eager to hear what it was this time, but purposely sounding bored. With a sigh Enya turned her back on the rest of the cave and unclipped her cloak and began pulling off the outer layers of her clothing, acting as though no one else were around.

Fenrir shifted more fully around so that when Enya was ready he could actually look at her, but for the moment he was staring pointedly at a point just beyond her. "What is it?" He asked in a slightly gruff voice, feigning that she was disrupting his life. Left in just the thin leather armor she wore beneath her clothing, Enya made a great show of folding up her clothing for a pillow. "I think we should help Karoku." She stated, Fenrir immediately shot a look at his brother, hoping that the other wolf was far enough away not to hear. "I was thinking the same thing." He agreed with her, which pleased her immensly because she smiled. "I think I might help Cyrille, too." She continued, and now Fenrir shot her a confused look. "What?"

With a slight laugh, Enya flopped back on her makeshift pillow and made a come-here motion at Fenrir. Again looking in Karoku's direction, Fenrir shifted so that he was laying next to Enya, his ear near her mouth. She started talking then about the events of the entire day as she had seen them, and though at a few times Fenrir felt the need to either kill someone or apologize, he simply laid there and kept his mouth shut, listening. It was a bit hard, however, when Enya confirmed what he had been expecting; she was feeling fond of Karoku. She opened her mouth to say something else, but then closed it, shook her head, smiled at him and then rolled away.

Karoku felt completely restless, especially after hearing that Enya and Fenrir wanted to help them. It wasn't his past-time to pull others into his problems. He sighed and sat up, finding it difficult to sit there, then stood up. He went to the cave's mouth and leaned against the wall, mere inches from the falling rain. His ears twitched everytime a drop hit them, but he didn't really notice. He crossed his arms and closed his eyes, losing himself in thought once again.

Fenrir stared at Enya for a moment, then with a sigh got to his feet and moved towards the entrance, yet, unlike Karoku, he didn't stop when he reached the entrance; he just walked right out into the rain. "I'm looking for a source of fresh water nearby!" He called over his shoulder, just so his brother would know, and then, quietly and under his breath, he snickered, "For Enya so she can do her evening ritual. Top that."

Karoku lifted his head up slightly and looked at his brother, showing little to no expression. Was he really trying to do this right now? Karoku lowered his gaze again and shook his head. "She's not a trophy or toy. I'm not going to play a game to win her. She likes who she likes and there is nothing we can do about it." He looked out towards the cloudly sky, barely visible in the darkness. "I'm glad I got to see you again, brother..." Karoku managed a smile, even though he was feeling a little depressed. Being the target of the Crystal Goddess was quite a killjoy. "I think Enya couldn't have found a better person to take care of her." He chuckled to himself and closed his eyes again. He couldn't deny the fact that he liked Enya, but he wasn't going to play games with his brother for her. It was probably best that way anway, especially because of this curse.

Oddy enough, shortly after Fenrir ran off, Enya sat up and, instead of moving towards the front of the cave, moved deeper into it. If Fenrir had stopped to consider for a moment that most caves have sections below the water table, he might have realized that he wouldn't have to run off into the rain to find water. He would be upset when he got back, but Enya would also get to enjoy a moment alone with her giant of a body guard staring over her shoulder.

Karoku's ears perked up when Enya moved in her sleeping bag and began to walk off. He turned his to see her back as she walked off into the cave. He decided that he'd give her some alone time. If she had wanted him to follow or for someone to talk to, she would have asked him. He couldn't help but think that the caves could be dangerous. He shook his head and stood there for a bit longer before worry took hold and he went after her.

'It has to be because my element is water...' Enya thought to herself as she walked towards the back of the cave, somehow knowing in the root of her being that there was fresh water nearby. 'It has to be because my element is darkness...' She added as explination for why she could still see easily; it wasn't as bright as daylight, but she could see the shapes before her well enough to know weither or not she would walk into a wall. 'Maybe... I should've told Fenrir there was water here...' She wandered, but she shook her head rapidly to rid herself of those thoughts, and instead continued on.

Soon enough the cave floor grew cold and wet, slippery on bare feet, and it didn't help that she was walking at an angle that was obviously down hill. Still, she was being careful, very careful, placing her weight like one would on a wet floor; but it was inevitable that she would slip, and slip she did. Leather shorts hit cave floor with a shriek, and suddenly she was sliding along easily. Enya gave up trying to right herself, it only made her slide faster, 'I hope I stop befo-', her thoughts cut off as she fell into empty air, and she shrieked with surprise until she hit water.

Another splash hit the water soon after she had, bringing Karo into the liquid's embrace. He had tried to grab her hand before she could slip, but had ended up falling in as well. This just wasn't his day... He stayed submerged for a bit longer before he began his ascension to the surface. He broke the surface and took in a deep inhale of air. He looked about for Enya and began to yell her name, hoping she wasn't still underwater.

For a moment Enya floated around, confused, shocked by how cold the water was, surprised about how she had found it. She was a bit dazed, she didn't know which was up yet, so she arched back and kicked her feet for awhile, then just let go so she could feel which way she was naturally floating towards; once that point was found she swivled to point in that direction, and then she began kicking hard for the surface. When she broke through to air, however, she was surprised at the sound of her name being called, "Karoku?" She called as she treaded water, one hand coming up to wipe the hair from her face. "Where are you?" She questioned loudly.

A hand grabbed Enya's arm and turned her around. It had taken a moment for him to focus while swimming, but he had found her and turned her around to face him. He sighed with relief, terribly relieved that she hadn't drowned or anything of the sort and closed his eyes for a moment, making sure to keep himself suspended in the water. "What a day." he laughed a bit, finding the whole day amusing. Getting torn up, meeting his brother and a cute girl, fighting Fenrir, getting torn up some more, having a curse put on him, and now this. He laughed some more as he thought about it, knowing that although it all seemed bad, he was having the time of his life.

Enya stared blankly at the darker spot in her vision that was Karoku, more confused than she had been earlier. "I wish I knew what you were laughing about... it sounds funny..." She sighed, shaking her head, and laughing just slightly about the fact that he was laughing. "Why did you follow me anyway? You looked deep in thought, I didn't think you mind if I disappeared for a few minutes." She explained, wishing for a bit that she could see. She felt suddenly like she hadn't thought this through entirely, and her feet were pulling in from a sudden fear of what could be in this cave.
