(( xDD Two in one YEE-HAW! ... >.> <.<;;; Disregard that LOLZ *face palms* ))

"Oof!" suddenly tackled by the girl (along with the bear she was now cuddling). "You better take good care of it or its gonna be one vewy vewy sad bear" Ephraim pouted his lips as he said that and realized he was talking like he normally does to the babies around Renais and shifted his eyes. He ignored it and looked up at the tactition. "Have anything planned? There are plenty of games here that I'm sure Amara would love" suggesting, gesturing to Ninian as an indication to possibly drag her with the girl to play. He wasn't just about to leave her, noooo, that'd be rude.

"I'm sorry, but Rhys is out right now."

A female Monk returned, brushing her blonde bangs out of her eyes. "He had to make a few house calls and left not long ago... do you want to leave a message for whenever he returns?"

Amelia watched Leon and Arashe do battle. Leon had thrown his Hand Axe rather accurately, but it seemed Arashe's speed was just too much, and he dodged the blow before firing an arrow in Leon's direction. While Leon pulled out his Poleaxe, Arashe hidden behind a pole, Amelia sat down in an empty chair. Standing all the time was something she'd gotten used to, but it was best to let the feet relax every now and again.

Annis wandered quietly once her sandwich had been finished, deciding not to watch the duel in the arena. A Sniper against an axe wielder? Already seemed decided to her. She lifted off of the ground with her wings, floating above the masses' heads as she tried to find a good place to land down and find another activity. Now filled up with food, she was interested in some sort of diversion.

That large reptilian man with the guitar seemed like a good place to start. Annis landed down gently near the back of the crowd, smoothing one hand against her bustier before sitting down as everyone else was doing. He seemed to have already begun his performance, so Annis didn't ask what he'd already said or played, just let the music wash over her and lapse her into thoughtful silence.

After Nils had thanked FD, he wanted to do something special to seal the moment... so he quickly went in for a kiss on the cheek they both blushed admittingly. "For you Kaoru... anything. So uh... do you want to try the darts now? I'll pay. It would only be fair..."

(Que short. Too short. Oh well)

"Busy as usual." Isadora replied. "Preparing for the event. Patrolling Eyris and the Learania. Even diplomating the other country."

She then leaned forward to let Ed hear her whispered. "Between you and me, the diplomats at Estarcia are nothing but cowards and pigs."

The paladin went back in her seat and looked around. So far, all the customers were enjoying their meals. Except for the man who ran across the room, holding his mouth with his hand. Judging by his green-tainted face, Isadora noticed that he must had taken the waitress' dish.

Ignoring what had happened, Isadora replied more. "But other than that, I'm fine. However, I pray to St. Elimine that there won't be another attack. What about you, Ed? Any daring adventure you have in mind?"

(( Sorry it took me so long to reply. x_x;; Had to go eat dinner and then did a bit of review for tomorrow... ))

Amara nodded, giggling. "I'll take very good care of Berry!"

The tactician shook her head. "I had no plans... I was just going to follow Amara's lead, actually." Alihi turned to the small girl, who at this point let go of Ephraim and was back to snuggling the stuffed bear named Berry. "What do you say, Amara? Do you want to go play some games?"
Amara bolted off, squealing with excitement.

"I... guess that’s a yes." Alihi shook her head, chasing after her daughter. Why did she have to be so energetic?!

---

Nils blushed slightly. Did he really just...? He mentally shook his head. Why was he blushing over a little kiss? More embarrassing things had happened with the two of them in public before, like... like... The bard remembered a certain party a few months ago and the blush got a few shades deeper. "U-uhm... I-It’s alright, Hikaru..." He smiled lightly, the blush still clear on his cheeks. "I wanted you to have fun!"

(( its ok xD I gotta sleep after this ))

"H-Hey! Man, she's faster then she looks" actually she was alot faster then she looked and to Ephraim's surprise, quite fast to get to whatever it is she wishes to do. He followed Alihi's lead and somehow managed to catch up to Amara before she got herself lost. Ephraim dashed a little ahead of the tactition and scooped the girl up in his arms. "Hey hey hey~! Easy now, there's plenty of time and the games aren't going anywhere" chuckling in between his words. He could feel her squirm within his grasp and let her go, slowly following her behind now that she had the two within her paces.

((Feel free to make Ephy win Amara another prize if you wish XD or wait till I reply which is tomorrow morningz at work~. Anywhooooo, naaaiiigh peeps ))

Alihi sighed in relief, seeing her daughter safe in Ephraim's arms. She jogged a bit forward to catch up with the two. She laughed softly, shaking her head. "I don't know if she got that speed from me or her father..." The tactician watched as Amara stopped and stared at every single booth they passed. "Either way, she's ridiculously fast. I can barely keep up with her sometimes!"

"Well... if you don't want to, I guess we could go do something else." Music and song could be heard nearby. "Why don't we find out where that music is coming from then?" FD suggested to the bard? They seemed to be in agreement, and so FD took Nils' hand and the two traveled through the crowds until they happened upon a corner in which a reptilian bard seemed to be telling a story as he played his instrument.

Nils nodded slowly, regaining his composure slightly. He didn't need to say anything; FD seemed to know that he agreed. They weaved through the crowd, the bard lightly squeezing his companion's hand to reassure himself that he was still there. They eventually reached the area where a captivated audience was already sitting. There were seats in the back, so the two walked over and sat down.

... Hey, wait a minute. He looks... familiar. Nils blinked, staring at the reptilian bard for a few moment. Where have I-- oh, yeah! That morning. What was name... Ganon. Ganon something. Firenight? ... Something like that. He listened intently, letting his legs sway forward and back while still being careful not to kick whoever was in front of him.

Learning to cook at only four years of age? That is quite amazing! Ninian thought as Alihi beamed, proud of her little girl. She's growing up so fast it seems.

Ninian smiled softly as Amara ran off, pursued by her mother and the knight/prince. Chasing down little children was hard even without lots of people around. Choosing to remain right where she was, Ninian started to sit again, then thought better of it, moving through the crowd to catch up with Ephraim and Amara.

Hearing Alihi's last comment, she answered, "Children do seem to be everywhere at once." Amara wasn't really, but the girl darted everywhere, wanting to see everything, it looked like.

Once things settled a bit, Ganon struck a new chord and went on. "At this time, it is said that eight heroes were called by the gods from worlds foreign to Learania to rally at the Warrior Kyros' side."

The snake slid his hand up the neck and struck a lower chord. "There appeared in our world a woman named Evelyn. She was a mighty wielder of dark magic, with a command over the horrible man-eating beasts that roam the world by night. She carried the tome Chizakura, said to be so powerful it could carve holes in mountains!

"The General Misura joined Kyros and added her immense strength and skill to his. Her magic-repelling sword, Vezra, tore through armies of mages in pursuit of the Dark God. It is said that her skill with a sword was rivaled only by her sharp tongue." The reptile continued his story, accompanied by the quiet melody from his guitar, as he described the next of the Nine:

"Ledreak the Halberdier was the peerless spearman of the Nine Heroes. The Slayer of the Spider Priest used his deadly spear, Graver, to cut down countless minions of the Dark Lord.

"Teifi the Dancer was known far and wide for her incredible beauty and grace. She could bring foes to their knees in tears with her dance, and could just as easily kill them with the very same dance. She wielded a blessed scarf known as Briseschal.

"Shento the Dragon's Bane was a powerful sniper from parts unknown. A man of legend, stories tell that with his mighty greatbow Donarco, he could slay one of the Dark God's dragons with a single shot.

"Jyoti the Valkyrie rode at Kyros' side as well. It is said that her beauty rivaled Teifi's, and her powerful staff and her tome, Antaram, made her a beacon to her allies in battle.

"Castello the Raven was the sky warrior of the Nine Heroes. Though he was a prankster, his ferocity in battle earned him the respect of any who crossed him. His weapon, the legendary Tervingi Crest, is said to have given him incredible power.

"And at last, Domanova the Sage. A researcher and genius, his wit and intelligence were matched only by his battle prowess. The tome Espinne wrought destruction upon his foes."

Ganon took a long pause, changing the key smoothly and plucking out a fresh melody as he let the audience absorb all this information.

Having taken their seats, Fire Dragon listened intently to the playing bard. The story he told sounded fascinating, but it irked him a bit. I reminded him very much of the "heroes" of Elibe who had banded together to banish dragons, although that seemed to be the only connection. These heroes seemed to have defeated a Dark God, not a race. No, these heroes sounded fascinating. There was no getting over the Dragon's Bane part though. Fire Dragon thought to himself how unpleasant it would be to encounter a Dragon's Bane. "That's certainly an interesting tale, isn't it Kaoru?" FD whispered over to Nils, so as not to disturb those nearby listening to the bard.

Since the start of the festivities Kris had been in his normal form, or that was the case until a few seconds ago, when Kris found it to be a good idea to transform into Daiyu and run around in the young girl’s form. The blond had such a nice, agile body making it easy to maneuver the packed festival grounds without so much as breaking a sweat. The armor that the real Daiyu though hampered this agility and thus Kris was also hampered, but there wasn’t anything he could do about it now though. The manakete would just simply wait for the transformation to be up and pick some new hapless victim he had met during his many years of travel.

As many had already done, Kris also wandered over to where the bard sang of a legend past. It was not one Kris was familiar with, but he couldn’t shake the feeling he had… oh yes, Hatmon had once told him bits and pieces of the legend that she could recall. Long ago, her parents had told her stories of the nine, but many of these stories had been lost to time. Perhaps it was irony, or some other reason, that caused Kris to spot Hatmon atop the room and let out a girlish giggle as he twisted a lock of Daiyu’s golden hair.

Annis sat and listened quietly. The music and words were enough to bring her a nice, quiet peace, something she rarely found for herself. She mused over the meaning of his words once he had paused, humming just slightly along with the music. She closed her eyes to concentrate.

The warrior Kyros and his eight companions... Evelyn the Druid with beast companions, Misura the General and her magic sword Vezra, Ledreak the Halberdier and the spear Graver, Teifi the Dancer with the killing scarf Briseschal, Jyoti the Valkyrie with... um, a tome, Castello the Raven and the Tervingi Crest... Annis paused there, eyes still closed. Had this man been from Tellius? He said that they came from foreign worlds... this wasn't anywhere near my time, though. She let out a little breath and finished her mental review. Then Domanova the Sage and a tome Espinne.

Annis opened her eyes slowly. Powerful people... and all to defeat a single threat...?
