She pulled out the bottle of blood wine as the Jester came to the counter, and poured him another glass of the fowl smelling drink.

Settling on the couch she had once retained when she worked here, she spreads herself comfortably on its cushions, back facing the ground, head resting on a pillow, and legs dangling oh so capriciously off the end. She stared up at the ceiling as if lost in thought but really not thinking at all.

Staring at blankness, she falls asleep, a pillow wrapped up in her arms.

A rather tall man poked his head inside the bar door, followed closely by the rest of his being. His brown hair was long and hung partly in his eyes, which glowed with an erie green light. He strode over to the counter and sat on an empty seat next to the Jester, his black hooded cloak hanging down to the floor. He put his hood down, revealing two wolven ears the same color as his hair and a roughly hewn leather collar around his neck. He put both of his elbows on the counter and rested his head in his hands.

Another demon walked into the bar slowly, carrying a meloncholy aura. At first she appeared to be human, but upon closer examination it was found that she wasn't a human at all. She was merely a shadow of a being that once was. In other words, she was a ghost. She sat down at the counter and burried her head in her hands. When offered a drink, she replied saying "No, I don't drink, ma'am." and simply sat away from everyone else, filling the air around her with sorrow.

With a yawn and arms outstretched, she rises from the couch to look around her just to fall back onto the cushions and nestle in with a happy sigh. "It's good to be back here."
That said, she swings her legs over the side of the couch to land with a sound matching that of a cat swishing her tail across the floor. Her hands give her a little push off the couch and she stands, running her fingers through her hair in an impromptu attempt at brushing it. A few strands lay in front of her eyes but are soon brushed away by a mindless hand moving in reflex against the strands trying to intrude on the view being displayed before her. With swift and unrushed steps, she walks over to a wall to lean against it, head resting on a hand laid palm first against the wood. For a few moments she stays here, absorbing the memories of the walls, seeing what she had missed since her previous absence. She smiles when the memory of a fight meets her and as memories that include her begin to surface, she releases the wall from her touch and saunters over to a counter to spin around on a stool until she becomes nauseous, which doesn't take very long.

Stopping the spin of the chair with a soft step of her foot on the ground, she tries to stand but quickly returns to her seat when the room begins to spin before her. She holds a hand to her head then slowly stands and shrinks to the form of a kitty. Shaking out her body she prances back over to the couch to curl up on a nice, soft pillow and blow breaths of magic to form into ephemeral, translucent butterflies.

Tsurui sat, lost in his own thoughts, as the translucent form of a butterfly flutters by. He was broken from his trance and watched it disappear into the air. Curiously, he looked around for where the butterfly had come from. All he could see was a small cat, sitting sleepily on a small pillow.
"Kitty? Where did you come from?" He had his hand out stretched, to pet the small animal. He may have been a psychotic killer, but he had a soft spot for animals.

She opens her eyes to look at where the voice was coming from then smiled happily and extended her neck to nuzzle Tsurui's hand with her nose. Purring, her fur begins to melt away as she changes back to her humanistic form. She grins as she says, "Hello, Tsurui."

His eyes bulged out of his head as he watched her transform back. "Whoa! Okay...don't do that. I don't normally pet people i know." He laughed uneasily, and sat back down in his chair. "You make a pretty cute cat though." He smiled and let out a sigh.
Suzaku couldn't help but let out a wicked laugh as she watched her brother embarass himself. "God, that girl even has him petting her, he's so easily duped." She just shook her head, and sat down next to Paranoia.

Her musical laugh meets his uneasy one. "I'm sorry. I would have changed back sooner but I do so love to be petted." Her smile ups a bit in brightness when he compliments her feline form. "I thank you for your flattery."

He just smiled and stood, he walked over to his wayward sister, his mood a little less than pleasent. Tsurui seemed more focused, on setting his sister in line, and wasn't paying enough attention to where he left his scythe. Calmly he approached Suzaku. "So, what's the problem? This is the first time in awhile, we've been able to relax. So just get off my back, and have a little fun for once...who knows when we'll be able to do this again. They're coming too, i can feel them. We'll have to flee soon..." He returned to talking with Kittie.
Suzaku knew better than to challenge her brother when he was angry. So she just remained silent, and sat quietly with Paranoia. Tsurui sat back down and sighed. "I do apologize about that." He said, his eyes closed tightly. "We've been running for so long, that it's almost impossible for any of us to relax." He said in a low tone.

Being curious, she'd formed kitty ears and leaned a little towards Tsurui's departing back and heard a bit of his conversation with his sister. She frowned upon catching word that he would be leaving soon with his interesting pair of siblings. With Tsurui's return, she changed her ears back to their previous form and forced a smile, "Oh, it's fine. You're leaving soon?"

Tsurui just grinned and poked her. "Eavesdrop much?" He laughed and looked at her curiously. "I'm not that dense you know. I mean, you were a cat no more than a few minutes ago, i'm not surprised you could retain you're hearing ability." He could hear the usually calm, bubbly tone in her voice drop upon hearing that he'd have to leave soon.
Not wishing to upset her, he just shook his head. "No, i see no reason for us to leave right away. I rather like it here. My siblings...they're always on edge. Being hunted where ever you go, is not an easy life to live. This is the first time in a long while, that i've talked to someone like a friend, instead of a victim."

She squeaks a bit from the poke and looks down at the ground, her face a soft pink from embarrassment. Hearing him say he'll stay a while longer, she perks up. Turning into a kitty, she leaps into his lap and happily nuzzles his hand. The soft white of her fur gives a sharp contrast to the bloodstained prints on his clothes. With a slight purring in her voice and her lightning blue eyes sparkling up at him, she grins a kitty's grin, "I'm glad you don't have to leave so soon. I enjoy your company."
