She smirked at Laurence's remark, but kept her attention on Neko, noting the girl's action as a usual signal to refrain from attacking. She pushed the thought aside and gave him the straight answer. "It's tattooed in ink that's a similar pigment to my skin, the last person who looked at it told me it was an exploding tag, but last time I acted out all I received was a jolt that blocked motor functions below it. There was some form of human summoning used once, but that seemed to burn itself out with the last use.... It also seems to have locked my... bloodline ability I suppose"

She looked at the girl, somewhat confused as her mind tried to remember what that look meant. She remembered seeing it before since she changed her outfit but never could understand why.
"If the exploding tag is as real as it looks it would be a simple task for anyone to activate it. But the collar aspect seems secure, the only hindrance being that whenever I try to use my abilities it activates itself anyway. She wanted it to keep me in my current state so she could use that blasted sword to keep me too unfocused to use techniques."

"Hm. I may be able to dampen it. If I try to remove it, it could take your head clean off, but if I give it a way to expel the energy over a wider area, and maybe away from you, it would be a good as gone, practically."
He ran a hand through his hair, glancing briefly at Luna in thought.
"And you say that all it does is activate and paralyze you if you go past a certain point with your 'bloodline' as you call it? If that's the case, then it's not exactly a limiter, just insurance... Like shackles are compared to a chain link fence, the limiter keeping you from moving around at all, while the fence lets you move in a certain area, and is easy to get around."
Neko seemed to be talking more to himself, or thinking aloud, than trying to explain it for Kinuko's sake.

She looked at him and thought before nodding. "I could manage the smaller blast if the need arose, but the way my bloodline is sealed now I would be in a extremely bad predicament especially if others use high frequency noise techniques."

"Uh-huh. You're a doll for divulging this much information to someone who was your enemy not too long ago."
Neko laid a hand on Kinuko's shoulder from behind, pressing his thumb lightly into the back of her neck as he twisted his lips in thought.
"Why would that put you in a tight spot?
Luna began to walk towards the pair, but quickly stopped, looking away at the ground as she balled her fists.

She felt an unpleasant shiver go down her spine, unsure if it was Neko's doing or the seal reacting to someone's touch. "I've learned a favor for a favor... I don't trust most, but when it's not family business I generally avoid aggressive action without cause."
"Assuming I don't pass out I would find myself unable to hear, and off balance if a powerful enough sound was emitted, and since my ears are more sensitive they also are more fragile. Likewise an overpowering smell might break my concentration enough to disrupt a technique."
The woman's eyes wandered towards Luna, attempting to guess her intentions.

Neko pulled away from Kinuko, and walked back to a much satisfied Luna, who grabbed onto his wrist as if it were a lifeline.
"Mr. Allendale. Keep an eye out and make sure there aren't any eavesdroppers."
"With pleasure, Sir. Miss."
He nodded to Neko, then to Kinuko, grinning at Luna once more before dumping his pipe out and hefting his oilskin-covered weapon up from the tree it was leaning against.
"I'll need to prepare some things. Please come along, I'll try not to keep you long, Kinuko"
"But Jii-Sama, she could-"
Neko waved his hand to signal Luna. She took the hint and closed her mouth abruptly, not even finishing her sentence as they walked quite a distance, heading int the cave, and eventually into Neko's office.

The woman followed them into the cave, pondering just what the little girl was afraid she'd reveal. She supposed for a moment the location of this place, but soon enough her mind dismissed the idea, figuring they wouldn't have just lead her to a sensitive location.
Her mind was already clouding with ideas of what she would do once the seal was gone. The mental coin toss beginning again on if she would hunt down her mother or just leave the woman alone and trust the words she had received five months prior.

"Please, sit. Make yourself comfortable."
Neko closed the door to his office behind Kinuko, and motioned to a large cushion on the floor as he disappeared downstairs for a moment. When he came back up, he toted a small wooden box, Luna not leaving his side for a second as he walked back over to the woman, setting the box down and swinging the top open.
"This will only take a moment, I'm going to try to short it out to weaken it a bit, then I should be able to remove it. you'll be fine...probably..."

She looked towards him, then she took a seat on the cushion, positioning herself so he easily would be able to see her neck. She twitched at the word probably, but ignored it, mind telling her she'd be free of that woman's control, and free of anyone who blundered into the secret of controlling her through it.

Neko worked silently for a few minutes, carefully dragging the tip of the quill along Kinuko's neck in short, deliberate strokes, a bit of his chakra visible, emanating from his fingertips like bright smoke. When he was finished with the last stroke, the woman would feel a sharp pain surging down her spine. It was brief, but it would hurt far beyond most people's pain threshold. Neko leaned back a bit in anticipation, and prepared to give her a moment to recover, Luna groaning softly.
With a wave of his hand, a screen appeared in front of the three. It didn't seem to have any real mass, just floating in the air with no support, or any real depth. What seemed to be a live feed of Lina in the Rai dojo was showing on the screen, a small map of the area of the GNA, with the Rai Dojo Highlighted was fixed in the lower left corner of the monitor.
"I believe that's the woman you're looking for?"

She shivered, squinting her eyes closed at the pain. Her fists clenched but she stayed conscious, she soon leaned back and was looking at the screen. "That's her alright... She's limiting herself far more then I'd think... Her moves are slow enough for me to see... she's skating, not floating?" the woman asked, in a confused tone, looking back at the man.
She then took good notice of the blade in Lina's hand. "Has she ever used something like this since you've known her?" the woman asked, forming a clearly weak ki bo-staff.

"Hmmmm."
Neko drudged through his memory as he focused chakra into his right palm
"I don't recall a specific account, but I think she has. You're going to feel very lightheaded."
As he said that, he hooked his hand around the back of Kinuko's neck and slammed his palm against it. With a great burst of energy, the markings disappeared, and Kinuko could feel her chakra flow loosen up a bit, making her head feel as if it were going to float away, her vision blurring a bit at the edges, signaling a blackout, if she didn't see to concentrating on it.

Her s staff sparked like a light burning out before canceling itself out. She began to sink back. Her mind fought off unconsciousness. She gripped the wrap around her arm, squeezing tightly to give her something to focus on, already using a mental technique to re-center herself, a small chill coming off around her as she did.
The woman nodded, satisfied with the answer. "I suppose she's just keeping that training method then, use heavy blades with quick strikes so that when you really need to fight the weightless blades give you a massive speed boost."
