Atemu took control again, because he could explain the current situation better than Yuugi could. He had experienced it while Yuugi had just listened to his explanation of what had occurred. "Akiko, there's nothing to be afraid of. Listen, Amme is your ally. She is supposed to help the spirit of the Millennium Puzzle obtain his memories and such. The spirit of this Puzzle," explained Atemu as he pointed at the object around his neck, "is me. You are not crazy. In fact, you are perfectly sane. It can be difficult to accept the world of magic if you're new to it, but you will be safe. As I'm sure you realize by now, Yuugi and I have differing personalities. If this wasn't the case, the person you see before you would never change voices or his mannerisms. You are gifted with the Millennium Orb's power. Please do not be afraid, Akiko." he requested. "There is nothing to fear."

"Rest assured; you did not wake me. Your dark half is gone, is he not? There's nothing more to fear." explained Lerena as she sat down and crossed one leg over the other. She continued looking out the window. "Well, I had a nice dream to begin with; it was peaceful. But it ended with a knife through my heart. It was painful, yet I didn't die. I'm fine now that the pain has ended though." Lerena remarked to Marik. "I was shocked when I woke up in the room probably because I couldn't keep myself from screaming. Normally I do not wake from a dream so something prompted me to awaken. More importantly, why are you so nervous? Since the Pharaoh banished your dark side, it's impossible for him to return, right? I'll be fine. You're now in full control without having to worry about someone else taking over." she said, turning her head to look at him.

Akiko looked at him with damp eyes while sniffling. How was she supposed to believe this? After all, there was no such thing as magic right? But she couldn't move, and she kept hearing that woman's voice. She thought she may have been dreaming so she bit down on her tongue a bit. Nope, certainly wasn't dreaming, she felt it.

'You're not dreaming young one,' she said to her through her thoughts.

'Stop reading my mind! That's rude!' Akiko thought back as she made a small scowl.

'Then how am I supposed to listen to that request?' Amme said teasing her only a little.

Akiko 'hmph' as she continued to listen to him. "WHAT!?" she outbursted when he said that he was spirit of the puzzle just as Amme was the spirit of the orb. Then she thought about it, she was noticing changes in Yugi's mannerisms. Oh, she just wanted to simply believe that he had a split personality. But now, when he changed, it was almost like she could see it. There wasn't much physical change in him, so it was easy to miss. It was mainly in his face- Yugi had a much kinder inviting face while the spirit had more of a confident and serious face. She fiddled with her hands and looked away, she was finding it hard to deny these things that he told her now. She bit her lip as tears started to roll out from her eyes again, "I can't help but be scared.... it's so hard to believe and..... and....." She couldn't even finish her sentence. She lowered her head feeling so ridiculous because she was oversensitive. Truth was, she felt alone and isolated now. Sure she had Amme with her, but who had them? Oh! There were so many things on her mind and so many emotions swaying around.

'He's right you know. I'm not going to harm you. You are my host and I'll anything to protect you. I know it's very sudden for you, but you'll never know how greatful I am that I found you. You'll never be alone cause I'll always be here for you,' she told her in a soft gentle voice.

Akiko wiped the tears from her face. She felt better about the spirit that lived in her orb. And even though she new she would always be there for her, she still couldn't help but feel lonely- seperated from the real world. She's never been so concerned about it before, she wasn't sure why she was now. 'Ok, I understand Amme,' she said being a bit more understanding now. She looked up at the spirit of the puzzle and asked in a mousy yet calmer voice then from before, "So then what's your name? And why are your memories lost?"

"I no longer fear him, I fear that..... the paths I taken were not mine. I fear as if his essence influenced me too much and will still remain to influence me," he said truthfully looking away. "And I hate the fear, because I don't feel I am in control when I feel like this," he added narrowing his eyes. He also did not like to fear, he felt weak like he used to. Was he not as strong without his dark side? He looked at her when she described her dream. He felt worse, feeling it was his fault she had such a dream even though it wasn't. "Do you always dream such things?" he asked her. Any feelings he had held back from the previous day was not as held back as before. Some of them were hard to deal with, but he actually did prefer to feel this way. His mind and emotions felt free for once. "I've been questioning my path. I left Egypt because I didn't want to be controled. I ended up being controled anyway," he said.

((Writer's block for Atemu.))

Atemu blinked. "I don't know what my name is or why my memories are gone." he answered truthfully. It seemed that Akiko was more understanding of Amme's presence now. But he wasn't sure how to answer Akiko's questions when he didn't have his memories. All he could do was speak the truth. "It may have something to do with my destiny." he suggested. "We can only hope that I'll receive my memories soon." added Atemu in reference to Marik's decision.

Lerena listened to Marik as he described how he was feeling. His fears made sense in a way. Even though Darla wasn't as evil as before, she felt lost without her presence. For some reason Lerena cared for Darla now. Darla was an important part of her and she had to learn to accept that. But, was her will really of her control? What if Darla was controlling her? That didn't matter right now. All she cared about was helping Marik feel better. She wasn't sure how she could do that. "Lately, I've been questioning my own path as well. It probably doesn't make sense now, but I think your fear will come to pass. After all, it's difficult to get used to change in less than a day. I believe you'll get used to the fact that he's gone. I'm not used to comforting people so I don't know how to do it. Usually I'm the one in need of comfort." Lerena explained.
PostPosted: Sun Aug 30, 2009 5:35 pm

"I'm sorry to hear that...." she said feeling bad that she asked.

'I too lost my memories. When we first came together, I was able to see all of your memories up to that point. To be fair, I should let you see what little memory I have. When I do this, we will be able to see one another's memories freely and feel what each other is feeling. Our souls will be completely unlocked to one another,' Amme told her as she did so.

Amme had released Akiko so that she could move freely. Akiko stood up as she listened to Amme. Her eyes glinted as she was able to see what little memories she had. It only took a second to see her lifetime, the parts that were still there. She looked up at Atemu and asked almost innocently, "Why does Amme hold such admiration for you?"

Amme instantly took over and covered her own mouth. Needless to say she looked pretty shocked her hikari said that. She removed her hand and said, "Excuse me, I think me and my host have certain things to discuss." Without a second note, she turned around and started walking to the door. It was about 6am in the morning, they had to leave soon anyway to get ready for school.

"Perhaps," he said knowing it would pass but hated feeling it. "Don't worry about it, your not doing it wrong or anything," he said. He's never really had to comfort anybody about anything either, so he could understand that. "And what are some of the things people comfort you about?" he asked curiously. He then remembered something, "Lerena, the way I acted the past two days, I can't tell you if that was completely me. I myself don't even know. But that anger I showed toward you, that wasn't me, that I know. I just wanted you to know that," he said looking off to the side after he said it.

Atemu blinked. How was he supposed to respond to that? Even though it was clear Amme wanted it to be a secret, he was fairly curious about the comment that Akiko made. "I'm sorry she said that, but I'm still curious. It is pretty early; I believe it's almost time for Yugi to go to school." remarked Atemu as he looked at his watch. He wasn't sure what Jounouchi would say when he returned that morning. Should he mention it to his best friend? No, that wouldn't be good. Jounouchi might want revenge on Marik if Atemu mentioned the events of the past day. On the other hand, Jounouchi did show understanding sometimes. Yesterday was so strange, even for Atemu. And what Akiko said sort of surprised him. Did Amme really admire him? He said he was curious, but he suspected that Amme didn't want to talk about it.

Lerena nodded. He surprised her and caused her to look away from him. "Yea, I understand." she said, blushing slightly. Human emotions were such a burden sometimes. Was she blushing? Lerena was almost certain that she was. "Well, I don't need comforting as much anymore. After all, I'm far less sensitive than I used to be. Back then, I overstressed myself and it caused me to be overemotional. I'm more relaxed now." explained Lerena. She hoped he wouldn't notice her blushing. After a minute or so, she felt her blush die down a bit. "So, what are you really like?" Lerena asked, looking at him. "If that wasn't it, I want to know the real you obviously." Now she was blushing again!

"Want me to stop your blushing, Mistress? It is cute though." commented Darla from inside Lerena's head. She was snickering, obviously hoping that Marik noticed the blushing.

"Yes! If it can be done, stop my blushing! These feminine emotions don't need to get in the way of a beautiful friendship!" retorted Lerena to Darla.

Darla snickered and willed Lerena's blushing to fade away. "You shouldn't be afraid to open up so much."

Lerena closed her eyes and leaned against the back of the couch. "Have you made your decision yet? I don't care what it is, but the Pharaoh is still going to ask even if I don't." she remarked. It was embarrassing enough that she blushed; she was certain that Renoko would've teased her about it if she was there at the moment.

Renoko opened the door to the karaoke room that Lerena was in. "Sister, you won't believe this," she remarked, stepping inside and closing the door gently. "I went home to check my list of upcoming events. You know how I love events, particularly of the music and dancing variety. Well, there's a welcoming dance coming up basically to celebrate the start of a new school year. Well, I don't have a date."

"Sister, why do you need a date for a casual school dance?" asked Lerena, raising one eyebrow.

"For the slow songs, duh. I know I hate love songs, but that's beside the point." said Renoko. "Didn't we have this conversation last week?"

"I'm surprised you took the time to remember a conversation from that far back." commented Lerena sarcastically. "Listen, Renoko; I was sort of in the middle of talking to Marik."

"Oh? What were you two talking about?" asked Renoko. "Should I leave? Were you two having a moment?"

Lerena stared at Renoko. "Uh, no. We were just talking. Don't you shower before school?" she remarked.

"I do. I was about to leave to do that, but I came here to tell you that you should probably start looking for a date." said Renoko with a smirk.

"Shut up and leave." ordered Lerena, obviously not amused by Renoko's joke.

"It was a joke. You don't have to come to the dance if you don't want to. Anyway, let's meet up at the school entrance soon." said Renoko. "If you have any questions about what time to meet up, call me when you're done with Marik. Cya." said Renoko, leaving the room before Lerena could reply.

"Am I really related to her?" asked Lerena. She paused to give Marik time to reply to her comments from earlier and possibly raise a few questions about what Renoko suggested. She really hoped this wasn't Renoko trying to set her up on a date with Marik. That would be amusing, yes, but she didn't want to rush things. In time, she might get what she wanted, but she wanted to let fate take its course.

"It would seem my hikari has a problem distinguishing the difference between admiration and respect," she said pushing her glasses up a little. "She does to, and from what I saw yesterday her mother isn't going to be very happy with us... er her. We'll see you in class later," she said leaving the room and heading for the exit. As she walked out the exit she said outloud to Akiko since no one was around, "I can't believe you said that outloud!"

'Well I'm sorry Amme but that was the first feeling I got from you and it was so strong! I didn't mean to just blurt it out! It was a new feeling,' she said to her through her thoughts.

Amme began talking through her thoughts as well, 'That wasn't admiration, Akiko. He was the Pharoah in his past life, I have high respect for him,' she argued with her.

'Well it wasn't quite like admiration, more like a deep liking...' Akiko began to tell her but was cut off.

'Akiko! That is not the case I can assure you! Besides, you saw I had little to no memory of him so how could it even be that? It's respect and that is that,' she said not wanting to hear anymore about the subject.

'So he's a Pharoah? Like King of Egypt? That's pretty big huh? And you were..... a palace healer?' she said searching though memories.

'Yes. That's how I was able to heal your adnormalities,' she said.

'So you're the reason for that! Thank you! So can I not be hurt by anything now?' she asked.

'I did indeed. what do you expect? I'm using your body, it would only be the right thing to do and help. No, you can still be hurt. I can't heal you completely since my powers don't allow me to heal myself. However, I was able to make you healthy, she said while smiling. 'You're very outgoing and fun. Why do you hide that away from others? she asked.

Akiko paused for a moment, 'You saw my past, how can I not be careful? Besides, nobody really cares here."

'You can't be afraid and hide. You have a wonderful personality, you should let others see that. You'll attract friends just like you did back at your old home,' Amme said. Once she reached Akiko's house her and her mother had a heated discussion about Akiko not coming home, not answering her cell phone, skipping class, worrying she was dead, not contacting anybody. Amme took care of the situation, feeling it was her fault and she should deal with it. She made excuses, obviously not telling her the truth. After a while, things settled down and she made her way upstairs to get ready for class. First thing was first, she was taking a shower. She stepped into the warm water coming down on her, enjoying the feel. After being locked away for millennias, there was close to nothing Amme didn't take for granted. When she wasn't so focused on what she had to do, she was appreciating the things around her. Things she had missed. She got out of the shower and continued getting ready.

There was no way Marik didn't notice the blush. It actually made him smile, she was rather cute when she blushed. "I'm glad your much more relaxed now. I don't think I would want to see you oversensitive and stressed," he said. He blinked a few times when she asked him what he was really like. "It's been so long since I've been me, ever since I was a child. So then, in order for you to find out who I really am, I guess you'll just have to stick around and just find out," he said calmly and witty.

He looked off to the side to think, then looked back at her. He rested his elbows on his knees and his chin on his hands that were intertwined with each other. "I thought about my sister. I thought about what she's been trying to tell me all these years. Even with that parasite gone I still hate what I was told my destiny was. To stay in that hell pit and rot away waiting for the pharoah. And I don't regret my decision to leave there and see the world. When I look back now, was it really the wrong choice? We talked about destiny before- I thought about what you said. What my sister has been saying. Was it all planned to be like this? Am I supposed to be here now and just get it done and over with? I've been running from my destiny, and all this time while I thought my sister was mad to say I couldn't escape it, I really couldn't. I can end it now and move on with my life. And that's all I really wanted. Now that I can think clearly, I just wanted my life back," he said to her. "And in a way, as much as I hate to admit it, the Pharoah helped me obtain my freedom. And god damn it, Isis was right. I don't know why she has to be right all the time, but she was," he said sitting up straight. "There's still a lot of residing hate I have for the whole situation and for him. But if I can finish this and get to my life, why should I prevent it now?" he said. This was the first time he had ever opened up to anyone other then Isis. He felt he could trust Lerena, as if she was the only one he could tell this too.

He was about to continue more when Renoko came in. He raised an eyebrow, dance? He's never been to a school dance, but when Isis took him out from the tomb he saw people in song and dance. It probably wasn't the same thing but he did like the feeling of it. Music was something all cultures enjoyed, and Egypt was no exception. And strangly enough, Marik enjoyed music- the hatred that clouded him so much made him forget that. He loved music, he wanted to hear more types and songs. As for dance, that was a different story, he had never danced before in his life and so far held no interest for it. When Renoko left he chuckled at her joke. "Well? Are you going?" he asked.

[[everytime Darla says 'mistress' I always think of Mistress from SuperJail! XD Oh and for some strange reason, I don't know why, but Darla almost reminded me of Blair from Soul Eater in this post. I don't know why XD ]]

((Secret: When Darla says 'Mistress," I think of Mistress Nine from Sailor Moon. >.> I don't know why Darla reminded you of Blair. They're like so different from each other.))

"Dancing in public isn't my thing." remarked Lerena. "I might go to watch people make fools of themselves. That's always fun to do at public events." Lerena added with a creepy smile as if she was plotting something. "Unless I go with someone special, I don't usually go to school events. Before I went through puberty, I used to dance in public all the time, but I've calmed down a bit since then. So much has happened in my life, I categorize it in chapters rather than years." she explained as she leaned against the back of the couch. She'd have to stick around to see who he really is? Interesting. "Wait. Why were you smiling? Ah, crud. Did you see me blushing? Was I blushing? Tell me I wasn't blushing. Curse my feminine hormones! Yes, I must blame my hormones for everything." It was obvious she was nervous. When someone saw her blush, it was like a sign of weakness for her. Blushing to her was like giving in. Though she didn't particularly care with Marik, she was still shocked to see him smile so abruptly. As she thought about his response to her serious question, she finally calmed down enough to reply to that. "I hate the Pharaoh, because of what he did. Though, if I had nothing to hate, I probably wouldn't be able to find much happiness. Part of being human is disliking at least one person. As much as you hate destiny, and as painful as it was to receive the Pharaoh's memories, I believe that continuing to run away when the Pharaoh is definitely here is quite pointless. If you want the Pharaoh to quit bugging you, you need to give him back his pathetic memories." Lerena remarked. "But, I'm a person who has gotten used to pain and can withstand a lot of it. Don't ask me for advice when we're two different people who function differently. I just pass on my knowledge; if it helps, it helps after all."

Atemu went home thinking about what Akiko said. It was strange, but Amme said she had respect for him, not admiration. Was this the truth? She was shocked at what Akiko said so perhaps she didn't completely understand her feelings. He thought Amme was interesting to some degree, but she seemed to think her feelings weren't important. That was far from true, but even so, he rarely showed much emotion himself. To some people, he seemed a tad bit too stubborn. That was his enemies' side of things. He thought about these things as he showered and got ready for school. Yugi's grandpa explained how worried he was and that he was glad Yugi was safe. Atemu apologized to him and said he slept over at Jounouchi's house, a famous excuse for when Yugi didn't make it home on time.

[[yea I know, they aren't the same, but there was something about their charm that made me think about her. Weird right? Logically I know they aren't the same. Maybe I was tired.]]

Amme walked down stairs with her bags ready to go. She grabbed something quick to eat and was out the door. She wanted to have a look around for herself at the area she lived in. She was still early to school, so she took her time, taking in the environment around her. She reached the school year with only very few students there at the moment. The sun had risen and the sky was filled with pinks and purples. She walked around when she saw a lone cherry blossom tree on the grass. There were other cherry blossoms around the school yard but were preoccupied with other students. She sat underneath the tree and looked up at the sky. She had brought her breakfast with her, just a simple bagel, some grapes, and juice. She started eating there and just enjoyed the moment. She seemed very serious when it came to her purpose, but when she didn't have to worry about it she was actually very carefree and whimsical.

'Do you feel lonely Amme?' she asked.

'Not really. Your confusing your feelings with mine,' she said even though both felt pretty lonely- but Akiko more so. 'You miss your friends?' she asked.

'Yes, I do. It was hard enough making friends back at my old school. I was lucky to have met them. But now I have to do it all over again,' she explained.

'Maybe you'll be lucky again,' she said to her.

"I, don't even know how to dance," he said rolling his eyes a bit feeling that was dumb of him to say out loud. "Well if you want to go I'll go with you so you can get in. You need a date to get in right? So why not? Beats going with some punk a** who's just going to whine all night," he said. He wanted to go with her and just check it out, even if they went as friends. Well, he was starting to like her a lot more but didn't want to admit it. He didn't want to seem like some sniveling boy that's fallen for her. He wanted to still look strong, and he thought it was strong if he didn't seem so attached to her. Even though he basically was.

"It's nothing," he said smiling and letting out a small chuckle, "it's fine. Don't worry about it. But now you made me curious as to why you were blushing." It was fun to see her nervous. He liked seeing her strong as well but he liked that shyness in her. Or perhaps the fact that she was so strong and he could make her nervous and blush.

"That's another reason I want to get it done and over with. I just want him to quit bugging me," he said snickering a bit but was quite serious. "And then I can get on with my life and not have to worry about this anymore," he said.

((There's not much to post for Yugi. Here's what I came up with.))

"It's quite easy, but I've been practicing for quite awhile." explained Lerena. "Yea, you do need a date to get in." she answered him. Darla stopped Lerena from blushing again and Lerena made a mental note to thank her later. "I was blushing, because I"m a human female with feminine emotions." Lerena remarked. Did he care about her now? This was interesting, but she wondered if he forgot about her confession. He seemed to be okay with going with her to the dance, which was strange considering she didn't ask him. True, she dropped little hints, but she wasn't consciously aware that Marik could have detected she wanted to go with him. The strange thing about the situation was that Renoko now seemed to be encouraging her to be in love as opposed to before. Did she support her love for Marik or something? "Well, I want you to be able to move on as well. Freedom beats running away in my opinion." she added. "I'd rather go with you than anyone else to be honest."

Yugi approached the school building and saw what appeared to be Akiko sitting under a tree in the school yard. He walked over to her and smiled. "Hello. Good morning." he said. "Is this Akiko or Ammeterasu?" he asked. It was nice being back at school with nothing going on, but he hoped Marik had made his decision to help the Pharaoh receive his memories. The events of yesterday flashed through his mind. Even though he was merely a spectator, he still knew of his yami's struggles. He knew that Marik had done some struggling of his own. The only problem now would be Renoko and how badly she would still treat Jounouchi even after the event of almost losing her sister.
PostPosted: Tue Sep 01, 2009 2:56 pm

"Good morning to you too," she said giving him a nod. "Amme. I couldn't help but to just take in the moment and relax," she said taking her gaze away from him to the sky. A breeze blew by them and Amme closed her eyes, taking a deep breath. "It may just sound silly, but I really appreciate small things like this. Not many people understand, and I don't blame them. Most all people don't until something is taken from them. Now I know what all those patients meant when they were bed ridden. Why they stared unto outside life. Even though life was hard, they would give anything to live it again," she said. "You too acknowledge the things around you. Tell me, what were you deprived of or had taken from you?" she asked him. She could see it in his aura, his light blue aura.

Jonouchi had stopped at the Kame Game shop hoping to see Yuugi. He wasn't there. Where had he gone? Now he was getting worried about his little friend. He had disappeared yesterday during gym class. Akiko was gone too! He didn't see Lerena and Renoko either, but he was used to them skipping classes so he thought nothing about it. He walked to school seeing both Yuugi and Akiko already there! "Yo!" he called out to the two of them as he poutingly stomped to them, "what happened yesterday?! You two completely disappeared! I was worried about you two!" He then crossed his arms and smirked jokingly, "Unless you two were having personal alone time." He snickered.

"J-Jonouchi! That's so perverted of you!" Akiko came back into control. There were only few things to tell the difference between the two- mannerism, voice, eye color change, and the fact Akiko needed glasses and Amme didn't. She looked up at Yugi, wondering what her yami had asked him and also wondering what to tell Jonouchi.

"And these feminine emotions?" he questioned thinking perhaps he should stop persisting. "Nevermind, you don't have to tell me if you don't want to," he said laying off of her. Marik didn't forget about what Lerena said- her confession to him, but he also hadn't forgotten what happened the first time he freaked out at her. He wasn't quite sure what he wanted right now, but he did know that he enjoyed her company and that he cared a lot about her. He would also soon learn that he was very possessive and protective of her. He already didn't like the idea that she could go with any guy she wanted. He didn't like that idea at all. "Do you think we should meet back up at school? We might as well go, I have to approach the Pharaoh after school anyway," he said knowing time was drawing near for school.

Renoko was now waiting outside the front of the school thinking about her sister. She had the power to obtain anything she wanted, but it wasn't because she was a goddess or anything. Her sister just had that charm that Renoko didn't. Commonly, she had to use force, but her sister only had to be herself. Her hatred of men was strong, because of what Kiba did long ago. And she knew that her sister had recovered her memories. Just how much did she remember? She did change her mind and start plotting ways to get Marik and Lerena together, but she just wanted life to be normal for awhile. She didn't want it to be normal all the time, but sometimes normality was good. Renoko texted on her cell phone to a friend of hers. Soon Lerena would have these same friends.

"Well, my feminine emotions aren't as severe as some females have it, but I'm still a girl. Basically, sensitivity, hopeless romanticness, and blah blah blah. Your basic female stereotype, yet all girls experience feminine emotions at some periods in time. The emotion I was feeling is...well, I have no idea." explained Lerena. How was she supposed to describe this feeling? Was it embarrassment? No. Shyness? No. Relief? A girl who's feeling relieved does not blush! "I think there should be some type of manual for why people blush, then maybe I can just pick a random reason. Though I guess you could blame it on my hormones like I did. Typically, some things that a guy says can make a girl in love blush. I'm not sure how to answer your question. I went five years without blushing so I'm not sure what makes me blush anymore." she added. Lerena nodded. "Yea, let's meet up at school." said Lerena with a smile.

"I'll answer your question later, Akiko." said Yugi with a smile. He blushed slightly. "Jounouchi, we were not having a personal moment! Stop thinking about that!" ordered Yugi nervously. It was already bad enough that he had left his best friend in the dust to go fight Marik; he didn't want to explain to Jounouchi what head really happened. "Okay, we were abducted by aliens, but they brought us back!" said Yugi, trying to cover up for a serious situation with something silly.

Atemu blinked at Yugi's excuse. "He isn't going to believe that, Yugi." said Atemu with a sigh. "You could say you were checked out and he'd never know to ask by whom."

Akiko stood up and put her arms to the sky excitedly, "Yea! And they were green and icky and stuff!" She couldn't help but be childish sometimes. "But they brought us back cause they knew you would be after them if they didn't!" she giggled.

Jonouchi laughed when he made Yuugi sound so nervous. But then he blinked a bit at Yuugi's response. "Aliens huh?" he said rolling his eyes a bit. He then sweat dropped at Akiko's response as well. "Well aren't you in a better mood? You seem rather comfortable," he said smiling. "Oh! I know what you guys did!" Jonouchi said, "you guys played hookie without me didn't you! That's not fair! You could have brought me along."

"Nah Jo, we ended up d..." she said but was stopped by Yuugi.

"Ah, so it's kinda like all those poems and stories I read?" he said vaguely, teasingly, and with a smile. He didn't realize it, but he was charmed by Lerena- but not like any other male would be. She had the ability to charm men with magic, but Marik was naturally charmed by her. Their aura's just seem to vibrate with one another. "Alright then, I'll see you there," he said leaving the Karaoke Bar. Once home, he showered quickly and changed just as fast. He wanted to make it back before Lerena did- he didn't want her to think that he left her there. He grabbed his bags and grabbed a paper bag putting various fruits into it. He didn't have time to eat breakfast or make lunch. He rushed out of the house and onto school. He's never rushed around like this for anybody ever before.

((I have another virus. crying It won't let me save my post in Notepad so I can make sure my post is saved if I lose it. I'm working to get rid of it so don't worry about me. Wow, short post...I don't have time to make it longer.))

"Stop it, Akiko! Don't tell him! We weren't doing anything he'd want to know about." interrupted Yugi. He was afraid of what Jounouchi woul do if he found out what truly occurred. Perhaps he'd even think his best friend was crazy! That's why he just couldn't tell Jounouchi what happened. It was for his own protection too.

Lerena hurried home and showered before school. As she showered, she thought about the events of the past day. There was something special about Marik, and not just the fact he was supposed to give the Pharaoh his memories. In her mind, it was more of a romantic touch, as if he was the one she was looking for. Slipping on her school uniform, Lerena quickly packed an apple, a bag of chips, and a bag of cookies for her lunch. She went off to school to meet up with Marik.

[[ugh that sucks >.> and no problem :3 I won't be on until later tonight after this- around 10ish. ]]

Akiko stopped when Yugi interrupted. She was a bit shocked and confused why he stopped her. She gave him a strange look but complied and said nothing.

"D...?" he said unable to figure out what she was going to say. "Wait date? Was it really a date?," he said shocked. "I- I was just teasing before!" he said. Almost feeling bad that if they did he almost made her say it. But that still made no sense to him.

Akiko sighed, now she was totally embarrassed. "It's nothing...." she said apathetically picking up her stuff and walking away from the group. She was starting to feel comfortable with the two of them and now she felt awkward again. She walked to her locker to get her books and then went to her class room.

Marik was able to get there before Lerena. As he waited for her to meet him there, he took out an orange and started to peel it. She soon walked by and he had to restrain himself from smiling so much. "Hey there," he said walking next to her. He had pulled away half of the orange peel and took a chunk out for himself. Of course, he couldn't have done this without a small switch blade that he was keeping hidden in his hand. He always had one with him hidden. Force of habit.

((This time, it's writer's block o.o))

Lerena smiled at Marik and greeted him back. "Hey. Good morning. I went home earlier. My parents must have been too busy last night to worry about me. Either that, or Renoko managed to give them a reasonable explanation, which is entirely possible." she explained as a start to their conversation.

"Nice guess. I just told Mom and Dad that you were at a friend's house and would be back in the morning to get ready for school." explained Renoko with a smirk. "Hi, Sister! Good morning to you too, Marik."

"Don't do that, Renoko!" said Lerena, shocked by Renoko's sudden response. "Sneaking up on me is very evil!"

Yugi blushed slightly and then his eyes widened. Akiko ran off! Should he run after her? "Sorry, Jounouchi, but it wasn't a date. I'm not sure why she ran off, but we need to get to class. We can make her feel better during lunch." he said with a smile. He was worried about Akiko, because she was his friend and he didn't want her to be hurt.
