Daemon stared at the trees around them, contemplating. If he hit one just right, then maybe it would put him out of pain for good. When He actually found himself stepping toward one to do just that, he stopped. What was he doing? He was stronger than this.

“Don’t call me mister,” Daemon ordered, twitching. It was easier to remember that he was stronger than this when Raenef wasn’t standing in front of him being so damn cute. That was it! that was how he was doing it. Raenef was cuteing him into submission.

He would fight it. He wouldn’t give Raenef the satisfaction of knowing he was beat. He wouldn’t answer that question. “Daemon.” Damn it.
