After a moment, a very polite but somewhat strained looking Wong answered the door. "Hello, Spider-man," he said after a moment.
A very drowsy looking Cat suddenly sat up in the armchair with a start and tried to peek around Wong.

"Wong! What're... Wait, STRANGE is here? Oh thank God! We need his help now!" Spider-man gasped.

Wong looked quite taken aback.
Cat stretched her legs out over the arm of the chair, using the other arm as a pillow. "From what I understand, you don't want him right now," she said languidly, shooting a half amused, half annoyed look at Danny.

"No, you don't get it You hear all that?" Spider-man gestured outside. Inidicating the earthquake/air-raid/bombing run like noise emanating from the city proper. "Everybody remember when Sentry fought the Hulk? We have, in essence, a similar scenario, except one of these guys is decidedly good, the other decidedly evil, and neither one of them will turn back into people at any point. They won't get tired until one of them is dead or the earth blows up, and maybe not even then! If Strange can't come, then we all still need to be there. That Doomsday guy...the evil one, I think he killed the good guy last time they fought. (The good guy is Superman, buy the way, and I know that's crazy) But we don't have time! Come on! Let's go!"

Cat shifted uncomfortably. "I-"
Whatever she had been about to say was lost forever, because at that moment every single door in the house banged open, and someone yelled, "THAT. IS. IT," in a mulit-toned voice that was loud enough to be heard over the din outside and filled with enough raw magic to make listeners flinch.
{Exit Dr. Strange to New York}
The next moment, everything quieted down again, and Cat uncurled from the fetal position, which she'd automatically curled into at the sound of that voice. It had... hurt her. "What was that?"
Wong sighed and began shutting doors. "Doctor Steven Strange, ladies and gentlemen. I just hope he won't do anything idiotic; severe sleep deprivation and magic don't mix."

"No," said Wong, finally coming back to the front door, "I believe that he has gone to fix your problem."
Cat got to her feet. "I thought that was a spectacularly bad idea," she said, brushing a strand of hair absently out of her face.
"Not... Spectacularly," Wong said carefully. "It is likely that we have absolutely nothing to worry about."

"I don't know about that, I mentioned that this guy is at least as strong as Hulk right?" Spider-man asked "I'm going too, you guys do what you want." With that, Spider-man turned and began to make his way back to the city. At least with Strange here, we can begin to do some real work as far as putting everything right, I hope...

Cat watched him go, then caught herself, blinked, and headed back to her chair. Settling herself deliberately in the position she'd been in before, she closed her eyes. "Fight the good fight, heroes," she offhandedly. She wasn't going out there; not with a demon after her. As usual, Spider-man was expecting much more of her moral compass than he was ever gong to get.

Danny's body tensed up as Strange's magic-enhanced voice filled the building. When Wong stated that Sleep deprivation and magic didn't mix, he made a motion that simply screamed, 'Thank you, someone ELSE who gets it!' Once he settled down again, and Spider-Man left, he turned to Black Cat, and asked, "Well, we can do one of two things. We can either go to the fight and help Strange end it, or we can wait it out here. The first will mean Strange will be available to us sooner, but the second will mean that you'll be much more protected from demons who wish to procreate with you against your will. Your choice. Ghost Rider's goal is to make sure that the demon is destroyed, and I'm certainly not going to leave you while that damned thing is still going after you, so it's up to you."

Reaper opened his eyes again and gave a quick glance over at the doorway. More people had arrived. What was this a party? He turned his gaze back to the ceiling and closed his eyes again. Nothing better to do anyway. He wasn't that much of a people person, and he wasn't in the mood anyway. Half listening to the conversation the others were having, he drifted back to sleep. He suddenly jolted back as Strange's voice thundered out, and embarassingly tumbled off the side of the couch. "Will someone please just let the guy get some sleep?!" he growled out as he pulled himself off the floor and back onto the couch. Blast it he could actually feel his heart pounding. He wouldn't be sleeping for a while now. Sitting on the edge of the couch, he shoved his elbows into his knees and rested his head in his hands, staring at the floor and mumbling obsenities about this and that.

Cat hesitated, more conflicted than she would have liked to admit. Finally, her eyes blinked open, and she sat up. "Are you kidding?" she said, smirking, "I'm in the Sanctum. Nobody with even half a brain will mess with me in here, whether Strange is around or not. Why don't you go help Strange and Spider-man get their hero time over with? Best of both words."

She had assumed that cranky guy was Strange, he looked very tired and she just gave herself a mental smack. She had tried to tell Logan earlier that this wasn't a good idea. Storm had to do a double take, clearly she had missed the part of the conversation about Black Cat and a demon? "Excuse me? " She said arching a snowy brow"...you mean a demon is trying to...my goddess what have you gotten yourself into.."
"Perhaps I can help" She suggested.

Danny looked at Storm and said, "If you think you can help, I for one would appreciate it." Danny said to Black Cat in response to her idea, "I'm not sure Spider-Man would approve of Ghost Rider's methods of dealing with living engines of destruction; probably because they get left a burnt-out, useless, barely-living shell of their former selves if he uses the Penance Stare. I have no real control over the Ghost Rider's actions..." Danny paused for a second, then continued. "The Spirit of Vengeance is just that, another spirit that possesses my body along with my own. That spirit, when in control, manifests itself as the Ghost Rider. It's like split personalities, but more extreme, and with a supernatural base as opposed to a psychological one. Ghost Rider won't attack Strange, of that I'm sure, and I'm pretty sure he won't harm the Spider, but this... Doomsday, he's a wild card. As long as he's mostly mentally stable, and has a soul, Ghost Rider can end it. If he has no soul, the Rider will fight, but he probably won't be the one to end it. If Doomsday's insane, Ghost Rider might end up temporarily incapacitaed, even unconsious, if he attempts the Penance Stare, which he probably will, because it's his single most powerful weapon. A fight with Venom proved this downside of the Stare. I could very well end up dead if that happens. So, I ask you, are you sure you want me to go?"

Cat stared at him for a second, and then looked down. "I guess not. Dying won't help anyone, and this Doomsday person doesn't sound mentally stable at all."
