Talia gripped Terashi's hand and held him close to her. Inside, she was writhing with excitement at being able to watch a show with him. She was already picturing him putting his arm around her and then cuddling and being amazed by the dancing at the play; then later she could show him some of her moves and he would be amazed with her dancing as well! He cheeks flushed and her smile grew wider as she got ready to follow Juju to the performance hall in the old sequoia tree.

"To the..." Terashi started to say before he realized he didn't know where this play was being held. He turned to ask Talia then noticed her hugging his left arm. Before he got to answer, though, it seemed as though they were already on their way. No point in asking, now, Terashi thought. He tried to keep his eyes forward, but caught himself gazing over to Talia more than a few times, noting each time how she never loosened her hold on his arm.

((Sorry, Juju, I'm going to kind of play you for a second, but not too badly, I just feel this needs to get moving a little bit. ))
When Juju took off, Talia followed suit, Terashi in tow. The group followed Juju all the way past the diner that she and Terashi ate at, the dance room they danced at, and over the beautiful crystal castle that Terashi so adored. Thew flew out past the limits of the Fairy city, the sky darkening and coloring the forest with speckles of orange and purple light from the dying sun. In the blackening part of the heavens, stars began to appear and wink at Talia as she looked up at them, as if they shared some unknown secret.
Some minutes later, the group arrived at the sequoia tree, its base hollowed out naturally, providing the perfect atmosphere for plays, shows, and comedies. The group landed at the bottom of the tree, an older fairy usher greeting arrivals and handing them leaflets of the cast and acts to be seen. Taking their seats inside the auditorium, Talia sat next to Terashi, of course, and wrapped her arm around his as they waited for the play to begin.
She looked up at Terashi and smiled. "Oh, I do believe you will love this show ever so much. It's a wonderful story of a prince and poor girl who fall in love and have the most beautiful dances and songs..," she sighed, "...it's absolutely brilliant." She looked off for a moment as if reflecting or playing out a short fantasy and then looked to Juju. "Have you seen this play yet? I think they showed it last year or so. No matter, it's always better each and every time. The actors and actresses, the dancing! and the serenades, oh, Terashi, I'm so glad I'm seeing this with you."

Terashi enjoyed the trip to the theatre nearly as much as the play itself, but the beauty of the place itself, as well as the performance, took Terashi by suprise. "I'm glad you're enjoying yourself," he says when Talia adresses him. Terashi puts his arm over Talia as the play drags on, taking in the sight of the performance as it reaches its climax and pulling Talia in closer with every suprise it offers.

Looking around her surroundings from the air, she hovered. After the survey, she began doing loop-de-loops and barral rolls. Ooof! she crashed!

Talia smiled and laid her head on Terashi's shoulder as he put his arm around her and so deperately wanted to cry when the poor boy died! and also when the handsome prince and theadbare but beautiful girl kissed, oh how lovely it was! They were meant for each other! Her grip on Terashi became tighter as she finally succumbed to her emotions at the wedding of the two characters, and when all was over and the final dance was danced and the final song sung, she applauded and applauded, used her magic to throw glittery sparkles at the cast as she blew kisses to them. Giggling, she looked at Terashi and gripped both his hands. "So what did you think? I love this play more and more each time I see it! It's never the same, is it, Juju? The dancing was magnificent and their voices were so in tune! I can't wait until you get to see me perform, cutie," she winked at Terashi, "and see how wonderfully I can dance! Are you ready to go, cutie?"

Nodding, Talia led him out of the auditorium, followed by Juju and whats-er-name. Saying their goodbyes, Talia and Terashi split from the group. Taking flight, she led him back to the village and to a door in the root of an oak tree, its entrance carpeted by soft moss.
"Well, this is where you can stay. I don't think my mom would want you at our house," she giggled. "So I'll see you later, like tomorrow or something? I live right up there" she pointed to an ornate door in the trunk of another tree some distance from the Inn "so come by whenever you want!"

He nodded to Talia and watched her fly off to her own house. He then entered the Inn, arranged for a room, and went to the bed, contemplating for some time where his friendship with Talia was going before finally falling asleep.

Talia arrived home a short while after in the old oak tree. Her parents were there to greet her and they talked (mostly Talia) about the wonderful night that she had had. Her parents mentioned wanting to meet Terashi, since he seemed like such a nice boy, and told her it was past her bedtime. After some protest about how she was out of school and shouldn't have a bedtime, she gave in and went up to her room and pulled out her Diary.
Dear Diary, Today I met a boy named Terashi. Oh, how cute he was! And he had never been one of us before, which is like, weird, I know. But it was cute how he needed to get used to it and then I got to show him around since he had never been here before. So we went to eat at the restaurant, and I think the waitress has a crush on Terashi, I got to show him some of my moves, and then we met Juju and some other girl who was new(what's up with all these new people?) and went to that play I wrote about before. But, oh, Diary, it was so much better watching it with Terashi! He's so nice and he's not stuck-up like any of my other boyfriends. He's kind of quiet, though, but it's kinda cute. He was totally amazed by the queen's castle; I think he liked that the best. He's so adorable when he looks at you. He's real, you know? Not fake like all those guys at school. He doesn't seem like a super athlete, but he's got a nice body anyway. I think he likes me, I'm not really sure. He just seemed so amazed by everything, that I think it was a lot for him to take in. I was kinda hoping that when I dropped him off at the Inn tonight that he might kiss me or hug me or something, but I guess I didn't really expect it, since we had just met today. But it's OK. But anyway, Diary, I must be getting to sleep and dream of my sweet Terashi. I think he's the first boy that I've ever liked this way. The other boys were because they were popular or something, but there's something about him that makes me happy inside and makes me want to do everything for him. Am I silly for thinking that? Probably. But if nothing happens, it will be sad, but at least we wouldn't have gotten far into anything. I can't wait to see him again. Time for bed. Night, Diary.
Her signature completed the entry as she set her book and down-feather quill down and laid in her soft bed, hugging her pillow as she fell asleep with a smile on her face.

Kenru had been minding her own business when she saw a fairy doing fancy tricks in the air. She was nearly awe-struck, hoping that someday she could do things like that. She winced when she say the girl fall and walked over to her. "Are you okay?" She said with a giggle.
