Raist nodded he could see something just beyond the trees she had mentioned. He hadn't realized how much they had walked either since it had been such a nice walk. Though it may seem otherwise he didn't go off with every female he met on walks.
"It's nice, I like it." At this point he would let her take the lead, it being her home and all.

Vesna smiled bashfully. "It's home." She said softly. She started to lead him closer, but paused at hearing voices inside. "Uh-oh." She muttered nervously, though a smirk started to light her face. "Maybe we'll wait out here for a mo-"
Before she could finish, a loud bang sounded from inside, followed by shouting, another loud bang, and suddenly the drooping part of the roof was on fire.
Vesna gasped loudly, but could see that even as she ran for the door the fire was being put out. By the time she yanked the front door open, two blue males stumbled from the smoke, laughing and coughing and laughing some more. "Daaaaad! Joooo! What the heck are you two doing in there?!" She scolded loudly, hands on her hips.
The blue haired male waved a hand to clear some smoke from his face. "I'll let Jo tell you that one." He said, clearing his throat and shaking out water soaked hair, which quickly dried.
Too busy coughing still, the gray haired male shook his head. "Not like I meant to!" He gasped out, an amused grin on his face. "Dad started it by-" He didn't get to finish as a ball of water splashed into his face, and suddenly water balls were flying through the air.
Yelping as the water war started, nearly getting hit herself, Vesna ran over to Raistlin, clutching to his arm, her face red. "Well... Raist... That's my father and that's my brother..." Though her cheeks flushed with embarrassment, having hoped for a much calmer welcome, she couldn't help but laugh at the males' antics. At least they hadn't burned the house down completely...

Well, this was interesting! And the roof was on fire? What an odd family and he hadn't even meet them yet. When Vesna ran he followed by quickly, if anything were happening he could help too. Raist grinned when she scolded the two males. He just stood grinning when she ran over to him. "I didn't expect an exciting introduction like this at all." He smiled again.

Vesna blushed softly. "If it makes you feel better, I hadn't either." She moved between glaring and smirking at her dad and brother. What kind of first impression was this. "Guys... This is my friend, Raistlin."
Hearing an unfamiliar name joined with the word 'friend' caught the elder adult's attention. His eyes sharpened from playful to alert, though definitely not hostile, studying the male cervitaur that he had finally noticed. "Raistlin?"
Running his fingers through his hair, he blinks in surprise at his sister and the strange male. Soo... what kind of friend was this? "Hey there." He said, grinning at the male cervi. "I'm her brother, Jocoa. That's our dad." He stepped forward, holding out his hand.

Raist laughed. True she probably didn't want an exciting introduction. She seemed like she'd be for more of a calm and less confronting one. He noticed the look from the father. Expected. It was true that they hadn't know each other terribly long but he was more a friend than a stranger. Raist nodded at the mention of his name. The brother seemed nicer at least. "Nice to meet you both." He brought his own hand up to shake Jocoa's.

Vesna grinned happily at Jocoa, glad that he was able to give Luke a moment to look Raistlin over and settle his mind. She also grinned at Raistlin, giving his bicep a comforting and appreciative squeeze. A greeting such as fire and a water fight might have sent any male running for the hills, but he had stayed for her.
Looking between the two cervitaur, watching the interaction between the stranger and his son, Luke finally allowed a smile closer to his usual nature to be revealed. He was a fairly laid-back character, but like any father, he reasoned that any strange male following his daughter around was cause for suspicion. After seeing the look on Vesna's face, he too stepped forward and held out his hand. "You can call me Luke. I'm afraid the house is a little bit of a mess, but Jo will have that cleaned up in a jiffy."
Jocoa nodded. "Nice to meet you as well." Raist was the first male he knew of that Vesna had brought home. Maybe she wasn't doomed to spinsterhood after all. He nodded along with what Luke was telling the male until the last part. "Hey! You did that too!" He complained, groaning and grumbing loudly as he tromped back into the house to clean up. Yeah yeah, dad wanted to check out Vesna's new friend, but he did too! Peeking out from one of the windows, he used his magic to pull water from the mess to dry everything first.

The greeting was interesting to say the least, he liked it more than any traditional one. Also could make for a funny story later in life. He gave Vesna a small smile and looked at her quickly when she had grinned at him. "It's good to meet you Luke." Raist's own hand came out again to shake his. "I'd offer help but I see that he has it under control."

Vesna half hid behind Raist's arm, smiling bashfully between the two males. She was sure her father was surprised to see her bringing home a male. ...One that she was being fairly clingy to.
"He likes music, dad." She said softly, not knowing what else to say, very nervous about the whole thing.
Luke shook his head with a smile. "Appreciate the offer, but you're right. Jo knows what he's doing." He laughed. "Not sure what I'll do when he leaves and something breaks. I'll be helpless." He laughed again, giving Vesna an encouraging smile at her offer of information. "That so? Are you from around here, Raistlin?"
Once the wood was dry, Jocoa set to pulling down the ruined boards, and then putting up new ones.
